Arabia Pour Homme

wow, i'm the first person to write a review for this? received this as a gift from my saudi arabian friend. it smells as if i just walked into an old wood workshop. exquisite craftsmanship surrounds us. every inhale is rich with the deep, spicy scent of wood and spiced oils used in lanterns or wood conditioner and finishing. you wonder if wood chips permeate the air and whether it's possible to get splinters in your nostrils.

Ambery fougere. Slightly fruity floral top. I get the lily and the fruitiness appears to be apple like with maybe some berries and no citruses. Woody mid of sandalwood mostly so far, no cedar or patchouli. Amber and light musk base little to no vetiver. It's marketed ' pour homme ' but on first use I'd call it unisex leaning feminine to be honest. The lily is strong and dominates the whole fragrance. A woman could quite easily wear this. It's a mature profile that comes across feminine with a light powderiness to it. I have nothing to compare it to. I'm interested to see how it develops over time and I think it's probably best suited for cooler weather and evenings. It's a nice cosy scent and the third of this line I've tried that prove to be very good quality for the price. However, ' pour homme ' it's not. 6/10

I bought 2 of these bottles in Ramallah to gift my 2 younger sons when I go visit them. When I tested it, I immediately thought they would love them. The spicy, manly scent is definitely more masculine.They love sandalwood, musk and aromatics and love getting fragrance as gifts.
