The scent profile reminds me Tobacco Vanille of Tom Ford just... better! I fell in love at first sniff. Immortelle donates this sweet tobacco vibes wrapped around a resinous labdanoum and amber. Is reassuring and cozy but in a very deep and mysterious way. Signature worthy for winter time, a 10/10 for me.

Well, this is it. Can wear this in ANY occasion, works best dressed well, no suite required, just a nice button up and jeans or slacks work fine. Stuff is very safe, and sexy. I feel like it's a must own if I'm being honest here.

I too, wear this at bedtime. So sexy, vanillic, amber, imortelle adds a soft spicy wink. This is everything a simple fragrance should be, and yes, it is sexy smelling as all vanilla COULD be.. (heres looking at you, Van Py Rhum)

Amazing smooth amber scent, very polished, deep and highly wearable as not cloying. Fantastic for the winter. Not listed in the notes but there is some vanilla, slightly sweet. Lasts forever

This is pure, classy, soft sweet, scent bubble heaven. This is like, when you hug someone hello, you KNOW that they are coming back for a slightly longer hug goodbye..

I really loved the description below, 'soft comforting bed of fluffy amberness'. This is exactly what it is! So incredibly comforting. Very 'pure amber', just lovely.

Love this ! Not much to say, it's a pretty classic amber. But with a twist ! Performance is good, it's unisex.

I wanted to love Ambra so much. Blind bought it off the notes and reviews and anticipated it coming in the mail all week. Now I don't know if I even like it. It may grow on me. For reference I love ♥️ Ambre Narguile, Mandarine Ambree, and Kalemat. ♥️ The opening reminds me of a blast of classic pink bubblegum. Yes, bizarrely, Halloween candy bubblegum. It completely surprised me and not in a good way. After a minute, Ambra thankfully softens and begins to emit spicy, pink bubblegum, it then transitions into the mentholated sensation of Vicks vapor rub with a suggestion of powdery baby wipes. The hot/icy medicinal vibe is my least favorite part of this fragrance and although it does ease, it sticks around through almost the entire scent. As Ambra dries down, it becomes much more likeable. It's a relief to get to this softer stage away from bubblegum and vapor rub. Ambra quiets into a spicy, almost-cola and now you can finally see the amber that was there all along. It's joined by a whisper of vanilla. This part is enjoyable, so I feel a little vindicated. I am recovering/at the end of a slight cold, so that may be skewing my sense of smell (a little). I'm going to give Ambra another chance in a few days to see if that makes a difference. Edit: I appreciate the smooth, cola drydown for sure but it's only a like for me; it could be that such a strong amber is just not my preferred cup of tea. Edit 2: I've been trying various fragrances and compared to highly synthetic hyped perfumes that are screechy and headache inducing, the quality of Ambra really shines. It's beautifully round, smooth, fluffy even, in the drydown. I'm always a little surprised when I reach for her, but as soon as I get that marshmallow-textured drydown, I remember why.

C'est pour moi un des parfums les plus original de ma collection, je suis habituellement une grande fane de parfums gourmand, épicés, vanillés et ambrés, pour moi ce parfum est mixte légèrement plus masculin mais je n'ai aucun soucis à le porter, c'est une ambre pure, naturelle, avec un côté ténébreux. Cette odeur interroge souvent mon entourage, elle est soit adorée soit détesté. Cela ne change en rien que je me sens spéciale quand je porte ce parfum, je ne vais certainement pas croisé quelqu'un dans la rue portant cette odeur ! La tenue : 6/10 Projection : 6/10 Originalité : 9/10

South Asian spices all the way. Whatever citrus there is in the top notes is no more than a couple of drops of juice on a spicy dish. It actually starts off projecting a warm minty glow that's rather balsamic, like a heat rub. Indeed, with a bit of exaggeration I'd say the opening could cure a sprain! Slowly but surely it dries down to a more relaxed, gourmand sweet and sour scent. My first exposure to immortelle but I can tell they don't call it the curry plant for no reason. Ellena really leaned into that Asian spicy side of it here.

A very original amber because it is "herbaceous", qualitative but too feminine for me I prefer Sperone from the same brand which is similar but more spicy, fresh and masculine without being too "manly" on my skin. Useful details : english is not my mother tongue and my opinions are copied and pasted from my personal notes, written on the fly after several phases of testing (tracking changes for several hours on blotters, then on my skin for a day).

It's the warmth of summer afternoon at the shore in a bottle. Such gentle and warm embrace! Simple creation with rather linear yet substantial projection. Starts with a touch of citrus and quickly becomes that oily, lush, herbaceous aroma of pale grass and dry flowers thank to labdanum and tied with immortelle chelichrysum. All vanilla-ambery conotations have a point. I would add also that this is "vibrating" in the nostrils, so it provides more than a creamy softiness experience and remains subtilly fresh. One would say, athough ascethic in the structure, the fragrance excels in it's form. That virtue reminds me of Leonard Bernstein's Introduction on Beethoven's Symphony No. 7 - The Form is all. It seems I have just compared master perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena to one of the greatest composers ever lived on Earth. To me it seems to be right deserved. To me his creation, Ambra from Le Couvent Maison de Parfum, is The Perfume. All-year-rounder in terms of impressions, suitable either sunny afternoons, cloudy mornings and chilly evenings. Overall beautiful - naturally.

Oh, my! It's like the summer version of Ambre Narguile! I am loving this. Somehow the combination of the three notes makes it more than the sum of parts. The bergamot is present as a bright green note, but doesn't come across as herbal or citrus on me. The labdanum is warm and almost powdery, but is not over sweet or babypowderish. Even after so many fragrances, I'm still not sure what immortelle smells like but reports of maple cumin certainly don't show up here. This is a warm, layered delicious amber blend that reminds me of my beloved L'Antichambre Le Tabac, or Mine Labs Narghile, or Ambre Narguile without the boozy heavieness. Lovely. Just lovely. Could be unisex, but only with men who are comfortable flirting with warm, edge-of-powder scents. But this would wear lovely on anyone. EDIT: Full dry down is much like Lubin Akkad, which I adore. Definitley a soft comforting bed of fluffy amberness.

An Oh My scent, when I first put this on. Somehow, while being the three notes listed, clearly, it’s also very much in mood like the layered amber tobaccos I love, like Ambre Narguile or Kensington Amber. I’m adoring this. Dry down is very like Akkad but with more vanilla. A lovely scent that I really want more of.

Very unique, original and luxurious Amber perfume. Reminds me of craft colas ( sweet, herbal and spicy ), but warm and soft. Perfect balance! Longevity 12hours +, sillage was strong. No headache inducing amber, actually opposite! Somehow I feel very calm with this scent so I use this as a bed time scent.

Can anyone tell me if this perfume is similar to Amber 114 by Histoires de Parfums ? I really did not like that one and it is a a true amber same as this one is described

Acceptable sweetness, soft, smooth herbal background and the main role from Immortelle and of course Amber. A special one. Lasts for weeks on a test strip.

Dry down Is a Lovely Amber! The scent starts off as very fresh! Slowly it dries into a warm amber....wish there was some orange blossom here too
