Aqua Palmaris

My favorite neroli perfume. This fragrance, while being focused on neroli, is not overly floral, which I love. The flower is enhanced, embellished, but not hidden. The neroli in Aqua Palmaris is beautiful, luminous and lavish. It is superbly highlighted by the sharp green note of the petitgrain, and the orange's soft crispness. It sure makes sense to assemble these notes together, it's a plain sensible idea but it's also beautifully executed as all these notes are perfectly balanced. The addition of white musk is brilliant, it brings a clean and fresh feeling (without smelling soapy), like a nice breeze combining the leaf, flower and fruit scents altogether to a harmonious blend. Overall Aqua Palmaris is a marvelous sleek fragrance, a must-try for neroli lovers. It never smells heavy, you can wear it any time of the day, any season of the year.

Palmaris may be cologne but it leaves a lovely, natural, perfume on the skin for a day or longer. Plus the top is delightful petigrain. I like Jeanne en Provence Neroli Intense, mentioned below, but it smells quite different than Palmaris.

It is considerably more flowery and intense now during the European heat-wave.

And it really reminds me of something from the Saab line (or thereabouts). Different to the other colognes from Couvent, which have a greener feel to them. Average performance (i.e. better than what is expected from a cologne).

Bright and beautiful opening full of fresh neroli, musky amber middle - a little spicy, yet light at the same time, drying down to a soft powdery floral still retaining neroli at its essence. Given the price point, a great value. Not sold in the U.S., but easily and quickly shipped from a UK site.

Powdery, musky, soft, calming scent. A fresh laundry type, a bit soapy. An easy grab in warmer weather. Office friendly, not polarizing at all. It comforts you but it doesn't shout. An intimate skin scent, mostly for women. But sadly it lacks of sillage and longevity as well...

It's a beautiful, natural neroli, nothing more, nothing less. "Cleaner" and maybe a tad more feminine than Jeanne en Provences "Neroli Intense".

The neroli stands out on my skin. Reminds me of Piz Buin sunscreen.

Orange blossom and honey are the notes I get. It is like a honey candy. It is in the vein of Eau de Givenchy but less bitter and much sweeter.
