Ilhabela

I have tried this in store a couple of times and I enjoy it a lot. It is pretty similar to Tinharé in the feeling it gives off, which is the only reason I have not bought it yet. It smells different, but it would serve a similar purpose in a fragrance wardrobe imo. It's warm, sophisticated sweet and ever so slightly nutty. Something about its base notes makes me think of really sunny days on the beach. If you want something that is in the same alley as Tinharé or BR540 but don't want to smell like everyone else, this could be a good option!

I own this fragrance, I don’t smell the almond or the cinnamon on me but it is definitely an addictive almost salivating vanilla. Once sit on the skin it goes into a more mixed profile scent with something fresh an airy probably coming form the heliotrope or the ambroxan. I would say to test on the skin before buying it but I love it and would recommend.

I like this one, yet I don't like it. It becomes too much at times, like I suddenly get sick of it and can't stand it anymore and I can never predict when that's gonna happen. It can be after 5 minutes of wearing it, or it can be after a couple of days. When I'm not sick of it, I do like the way it smells. It's very unique and not like any perfume I've had. Some people compare it to BR540 but I can't say because I've never tested that one before. Ilhabela doesn't fit the notes that are listed, not to my nose anyway. To me this comes off as sweet-synthetic, somewhat metallic too. It gives me major cyberpunk vibes, but maybe that's just me.

I keep telling myself that I don't need any more Fragrances but damn it i want this one. It feels like br540 and ysl libre intense got a baby but the egg surrogate was van cleef and Arpels bois dorre. Wearing it now and will update later this evening.
