It opens up with very mild bergamot. Not harsh at all, not sour, not too bitter, not so vivid, a bit sweet bergamot. Eucalyptus then adds green and a little aquatic freshness to it and when it all melded together it somehow becomes fig. Fig isn't listed here nor Le Couvent des Minimes website but to my nose it's almost all about young and unripe fig. Very refreshing, green and slightly woody. LOVE IT! For about an hour it has moderate sillage but it weakens as the scent gets softer. Longevity is solid, I can enjoy 4-5 hours. If you're looking for a fresh and tangy citrus scent, this might not be for you for bergamot disappears quickly. If you're a fig lover, do give it a shot!

I love a strong eucalyptus aroma, so this was a pretty safe blind buy for me. I love it! So zesty and refreshing. Very cooling to wear in the heat. A summer vacation in a bottle for those who don't want the same tropical fruity mess that's in 90% of those. This is a more refined summer scent with a sharp bite. A summer scent for non-summer people like me. Eucalyptus lovers, I highly recommend.

Santa Cruz is like 3 parts Bergamotto di Calabria mixed with 1 part each of Mirto di Panarea, Chinotto di Liguria and Fico di Amalfi. In other words there's a lovely bergamot and then a white, chalky myrtle/chinotto/fig note (the eucalyptus). It certainly doesn't smell like your average eucalyptus lozenge. I think we might be spoiled by so much fake eucalyptus we can't appreciate the real thing. I admit I'm not a huge fan of that note, but at least here in Santa Cruz we have a bergamot perfume that lasts over an hour. Several hours in fact. On clothes it lasts for days. Unisex. This is also great for layering! Brings a delightful, long lasting bergamot to anything. I've never been into layering, but Le Couvent got me started and Santa Cruz in particular is real trail blazer for me. Upped to Like. Thank you "Made by Kouros" for your inspiration to play around and layer this. I have almost all Le Couvent aquas, 5 singuleire, and these days I'm layering Santa Cruz with Minimes, or with Mysteri or with Solis.... it's so much fun and the quality of the aquas is always enhanced with this fragrance as a base layer. I love playing with one on the body, one on the shirt and then a different one on the inside of the jacket. When I get compliments and people ask me "what are you wearing?" I never really know... In general, it's always Aqua Minimes with a touch of any of the Remarkables.

Similar to Aqua di Parma Fico di Amalfi(I have both). The combination of citrus with eucalyptus and vetiver creates the aroma of fig. Practically, it is a pleasant fresh-fruity perfume, ideal for the warm season. Average performance, maybe slightly below average, but Fico di Amalfi is not at all great in this regard either. On a scale from 1 to 10 i'll give it an 8

Yes like the others have mentioned this is similar to Fico Di Amalfi, especially in the dry down but it's not a dupe. The opening of Santa Cruz is coconuty/figgy and citrusy. A no-brainer for the warmer months. The performance is average, definitely better than Fico Di Amalfi though.

Gorgeous, dry, dusty, citrusy eucalyptus. Association to warm summer winds blowing in from California. I love it. An easy to wear summer cologne for smart casual and outdoor. Also Aqua Solis older sister. Very cool. Great house. Superb fragrances at affordable prices for the quality.

Very fresh zesty citrus. Nicely balanced background eucalyptus gives it a slight herbal lemon balm-y feel. If I liked wearing citrus scents I would definitely enjoy this, but unfortunately I don't. Smells very nice, but it's not for me personally to wear.

Clean, fresh. This is ok for business. I get eucalyptus more than citruses. Also, I get a fig or something creamy touch in this. Lovely.

Winter test and a complete disappointment. This can not possibly be a work of Ellena. It is a fizzy drink, made with fake lemon and no ice, some chalk and is gone in 30 minutes from skin. Lasts a bit longer on clothes, but barely so. I realy dislike that weird, artificial, chalky scratch in the back of my throat with this one, good thing it does not last. The composition has been done before by at least Tromborg with their Stratus, where longevity and sillage is much better. 50euro for 50ml might be considered not expensive, but in this case I do regret my purchase.

It is a predominantly female perfume. It lingers on my skin for about 30-45 minutes. It has a scent that easily brings with an antiperspirant. Only recommend it to those who like to perfume very often. Bought at Douglas Store

Reminds me a bit of a mix of mosquito repellent and lozenges..

A slightly more intense version of Aqua Solis. I get a fig note (something reminiscent of coconut for some reason) in the opening which only lasts briefly unfortunately. Too bad this note didn't last longer as it pairs well with the citruses. You basically get a hefty dose of citrus with some light herbal nuances. Some cedar to finish it off. It's nothing crazy and you've most likely smelled something similar before, but for the price it's not a bad offering at all. Perfect for spring and summer, though I found the performance to be just average for this type of scent. 7/10

When I sniff it I see right away...Scent of high end queer lesbian model, edgy, androgyne type girl...I see her wearing it on fashion weeks and top lesbian fancy hotels party after.....gorgeous.... that fig is inviting, warm cedar and grass scent ... covered with osmantus? That fig remind me Annick Goutal style....

So this opens with just an overpowering citrus oil scent to me, but surprisingly it dries down to exactly what I wanted Philosykos to dry down to! Dry, green, woody fig, not too heavy on the coconut. Super wearable and quite long lasting! It goes from great to perfect when layered with a woody iso e super scent

My experience is very similar to what Djedi described below - I also get coconut and fig! The opening is a wonderfully done fresh lemon accord, which quickly becomes a beachy type sweet scent. It’s not bad, just a bit too heavy for my taste.
