Labdanum 18 Perfume Oil

This is so good. So very good! A longer lasting presentation than the spray perfume, with a warmer, deeper feel. The spray fragrance (and balm) end on a lighter, greener note than the oil which turns a more amber musk. This is for personal enjoyment as the sillage is barely there but that is not a negative for me as I wear this for my own enjoyment. Also a great base to layer brighter and more fleeting scents upon. Just delightful!

A beautiful, warm and cozy scent! It reminds me a lot in the beginning of Shalimar, I even used both together and they are siblings. The first impression is nearly the same but the drydown differs a bit I would say. All in a ll as I am a huge fan of Shalimar this scent is just beautiful to me.

I was pleasantly surprised to learn at the Le Labo counter in Saks that they offer a scented oil. I tried the Labdanum 18 fragrance on my arm and then the same oil on the top of my hand and to me they smelled identical and for the test I would say had the same strength in terms of longevity and sillage. Considering it was a test wear and not my usual wearing on the back of my neck/head I would venture to say it would be relatively long lasting. As they claim, there's 18 components that make this fragrance up and it's quite unique. This is definitely on my with list! Jason G 011313

A very cozy, snuggle-worthy fragrance full of fuzzy musk and soft tonka that makes me want to swoon. I tried the oil hoping it would be more concentrated and have better longevity than the perfume--sadly, it did not. Sillage/projection is non-existent. Too bad, as it is such a wonderful, warm fragrance.

Oof, to me it's a little bit overwhelming and headache inducing. On my skin it smells a little like horse sweat so I don't think I have the right skin type for this one.
