Café Caramel 084

This is an inexpensive, light but pleasant fragrance that might be best used for layering due to its relatively poor longevity and sillage. However, the scent is quite delicious! The opening gives major tootsie roll vibes - the mocha is definitely the stand-out scent here, and does a wonderful job. The drydown does eventually bring out a more nutty caramel scent; but I definitely don't detect any of the floral notes here. After a couple hours a woody, almost smoky vanilla-type note comes out for a short period, before this fragrance basically disappears at the 3-ish hour mark. Sadly I can't find this fragrance for purchase anywhere online; but I DID get it for a steal of a deal at TJ Maxx ($14) quite recently. Note though, that I don't think the longevity would be worth a much higher price. You'd definitely need multiple reapplications if you'd want this fragrance to last all day. As a tip, I typically apply this over a vanilla-scented body oil & sugar cookie-scented lotion which 100% gives it a *bit* more longevity (and also combines to smell absolutely scrumptious!!), so that'd be my recommendation to get the most out of this fragrance. Overall this fragrance is fine, and I don't regret purchasing it since I got it at a great price. It works in a variety of contexts and also would work all-season. I do think it works best as a layering fragrance, for occasions or settings where you don't want to have massive projection (for example, work/appointments/etc.), and/or for when you don't need significant longevity.

strong coffee/caramel latte opening which i LOVE, but quickly dries down to a more powdery vanilla with a hint of floral. A teeny bit disapointing but also with LMGs track record of longetivity/silage, im not surprised. At least it smells yummy to start! The liquid being dark would make me a little worried to spray onto clothing, so for skin only it is.

I'm quickly obtaining all the Le Monde Gourmand scents (debating on even purchasing the ones I know I won't like just so I can have them all just because, LOL)... At 1st, I hated this one. 1st spray is sickly sweet synthetic syrup caramel, almost chocolate, even though there is no chocolate notes. Also, again, like the others like this that are milky in texture, it is very sticky on skin until it's fully dry, and even then you can feel it (the oils maybe?). Wearing this alone I think would be too cloying but layering might be amazing with many perfumes/colognes! I think this is for sure UNI if layered! The dry down is very nice... The coffee comes through, the sweetness tones down a little & the synthetic syrupiness is gone. I guess there is a floral in there but it's almost undetectable but probably helps round it out. I also get a lot of coconut which also in not in the notes. For $15-20 per 1oz (if you can find it at a discount retailer like Marshalls, TJMaxx, etc), I'd say snatch it up if you like true gourmands and coffee scents.
