Cerise Riche

Smells like real dark sweet cherries (the ones I buy a giant frozen bag of and eat like candy). Really appreciating that this doesn't smell like the bright red (chemical) maraschino cherries, but instead the fancier syrupped ones they'll put in your manhattan at a bar that has gourmet cocktails. Also relieved that it doesn't have cinnamon and clove and/or other warming christmas-y spices. So many other cherry fragrances are ruined by those spicy hot herbs! I don't want a warming fragrance! I'm warm enough!! It is a little apple-juice-y. Cerise Riche is really nice, especially for how affordable the price is. I feel this is what Cherry Ambition was supposed to smell like.

wore this to my family's thanksgiving dinner and literally EVERYBODY was asking what i was wearing!! first spray starts woody and a tad bit smoky, but the dry down is a beautiful mix of cherry and dark chocolate! a perfect scent for the fall & winter!! absolutely love it, 100/10!!!!

Black cherry tootsie pop and woody notes! Yum!

First day wearing this in earnest. Sprayed it on my wrists and behind my ears and walked out of the room. Hung out with my husband, we decided to go out, and walked back into the room for my coat. Opened the door and got slapped with a white glove with the scent of cherries and chocolate. That's to say, this fragrance lingers unexpectedly. I suppose I'm one of the lucky ones, as I've heard through the grapevine that this can fade within 30 minutes of applying. The cherry scent does eventually fade, shifting into a very peppery note that I'm certain is the siam. I've looked at the other notes in detail, and it seems to be the delicious culprit. So the three notes that sing the loudest are cherry, then chocolate, and then siam. The cedar whispers. The pear leaf and bergamot might as well have not been invited. If you don't like a black peppery note, then maybe not for you. If you want a demure cherry, then maybe not for you. Keep in mind, no two people are going to have a carbon copy experience with a fragrance. I do urge you to sample it on your skin and see what you think. I put it on at 3 PM, and it's 7 PM now. The slam is still present, but that's the only note I'm getting, and that is with my nose an inch from my wrist. I had 2 hours of the scent owning a room, and then 2 hours of the pepper note from an arm's length. Now it's a skin scent on me. You can always just respray for $28.

initial spray reminds me of a red tootsie pop. the cherry is dark, sweet, and punchy; the chocolate rich and smooth. after about two hours it mellows into a spicy, woody scent that has a much subtler sweetness. i quite like this stage & find it very alluring. towards the end it fades down into the cedarwood — a nice grounded end that’s closer to the skin.

Xmas gift and I really like it. It's sweet but I'd say it's more unisex than feminine. Need more men to wear scents like this rather than dior sauvage and dupes.

I had high hopes for this after Sabrina Carpenter's Cherry Baby perfume fell short. I wanted this to be a rich, dark chocolate cherry and that's not what this is. In the opening you get some cherry with a tootsie roll scent (guessing that's supposed to be the chocolate?) and then it dries down to something really woody. Not bad by any means, but not what I was looking for. You definitely have to like woody notes to like this one! If you too are on the hunt for a realistic cherry that's accented with something rich and gourmand, try layering Fine'ry Not Another Cherry with Kyse Delizia Di Marshmallow. This combo is what I wanted SC Cherry Baby to be!

Smells veeeeery similar to Midnight Cafe from Finery in the dry down (which is a Black Opium dupe). The opening has more chocolate and cherry but those dissipate pretty quickly. If you’re looking for a super cherry forward fragrance, I wouldn’t recommend this because of how quickly the cherry fades. I think it’s just okay and definitely not one of my favorites from this line!

Delicious cherry to start but quickly turns too woody and a tad patch for my taste.

I think Le Monde Gourmand has some fun and affordable perfumes. But Cerise Riche is not one that I enjoy. This is 25% boozy cherry, 25% bitter dark chocolate, 25% patchouli, 25% odd scratchy spices, which I think are the siam and davana. The patchouli comes across as peppery and harsh. I do not like bitterness in chocolate and the cherry is medical. I think this was an attempt at a dark and sensual scent by a brand that is good at playful and easy to wear gourmand fragrances. Unfortunately, this was a fail for me, I rated it a 1/10.

The cherry melts quickly into chocolate and then full wood like other reviews mentioned. This fragrance reads more masculine than femme to me.
