Citron Glacé

Might get heat for this, but this is what Devotion should have been! This scent is amazing!!! Super fresh, clean and the right amount of sweet. The floral is subtle and actually very nice (and I hate florals). The lemon is not overbearing or fake, but more like a sparkling lemonade. I think I am finding that even though I hate florals, I can enjoy Jasmine (and some tuberose). The simple profile works together perfectly and because its more of a skin-scent, it would be great for layering. It's inexpensive so it's not a big deal if you have to bring it with you for touchup sprays every couple hours! I would love a bigger bottle of this one, but I have only been able to find the 30ml.

June 2020 It smells like sugary lemonade. I have both the EDP and the Body Mist. The body mist has a very fine spray and it's very refreshing on a stinky hot day. This is one of the first in UO's Gourmand line (#003). As of summer 2020, it's up to #032 (Limoncello Sorbet) which, of course, Fragrantica has not bothered updating here. They are produced by Tru Fragrances which also produces the Pharmacia line for Anthropologie among others. Tru Fragrances maintain a storefront on Amazon.com where you can still get some of the discontinued gourmand scents for the original price of $18 instead of overpaying on Ebay.

I don't get any lemons. Probably LEMONHEAD candy but very faint. No "in your face" lemon here. Thankfully. It's more of a tangerine smell for me, with Jasmine and brown sugar. One of my favorites from Le Monde Gourmand. I love it. Very clean girl, sweet, fresh and cozy like a big teddy bear HUG from your boyfriend who's tall. Great all year round, day to night. A very pretty, perfect for date nights, (first dates) girls night, brunch, nothing too wild, type of perfume. Make it even more yummy and layer with Lait de Coco. BISOUS

It’s really beautiful, fresh, lemonade that is just at the perfect sweetness level. However it is very weak and short lived... it’s Body Mist performance level; actually I have some BBW body mists that last longer than this does. My mission now is to find something similar with better performance.

This is SO good. Beautiful lemon sorbet with sugared jasmine. This is so pretty and feminine. Just wish it was stronger

This is a sweetened lemon, make no mistake. It is not the cleaner lemon or the typical fruit lemon. This is more of a light lemon candy scent- very reminiscent of lemon rock candy that you can find in most candy stores. It doesn't have a sour note to it which is also nice. Sometimes, lemon gourmands can turn into a sour note. It doesn't here. I believe the jasmine helps it stay sweet and balanced. The longevity was average for me- around 5 hours. Sillage is nice and light, close to skin. I got this in a Le Monde Gourmand sampler set, and this is definitely one of my favorites. We'll see how quickly I go through it before I decide to full size.

A few weeks ago I bought this in a set that included 5 Le Monde Gourmand scents in the .23 oz. size. It's perhaps the least interesting. That said, it's super easy to just toss into my cosmetics bag for touch-ups. As far as the notes go, they're not overly sweet and not exactly lemony, either; they're more like a stronger body spray that has a generic citrus (grapefruit, lemon, lime, and orange) Sunny D vibe. To my nose, there is no jasmine. Yet, something about it smells familiar, like a 1970s breakfast cereal or an artificially flavored lemon-orange cupcake. I'd not buy a full bottle of this, but it's definitely layer-worthy and fun.

Citron Glace is very pretty, a sugar lemon scent like the Fresh line but more light and simplistic, no brown sugar here. It's not woody enough to smell like Light Blue and doesn't have the staying power either - there is no backbone to this fragrance. It just gets sweeter as it dries down but also dissipates quickly. I guess it could be like the top of Light Blue with the lemon but there is little tartness - just sugary lemon jelly candies.

Everyone knows that your favorite color is pink and that you're massively into Japanese Lolita fashion, tea parties, and all things sweet and kawaii, but there's an ever so slightly sharp side to you as well. Beneath all of the pastel frosting, confection, and dimpled smiles you possess a subtle barbed wit that can be a little stinging for those who are not expecting it. After all, sugared lemon slices have always been your favorite treat.

The perfect sweet, bright and fresh lemony perfume that doesn't resemble candy nor cleaning products.... great in its simplicity. Citron Glace might last 30 minutes tops, but that's par for the course with this brand, unfortunately. :( I'm going to purchase Dua's dupe (Sugar Lemons) if it ever goes on sale.

When I first smelled it in store, it was exactly like fresh lemonade. Pure lemon, definitely not too sweet. Now that I bought it, I'm definitely smelling the floral notes a lot more. It is very light, but I bought it to layer with other perfumes anyway. That's what I recommend.

This is my favorite citrus scent, as well as one of my favorite Le Monde Gourmand perfumes, as someone who tends to go more for sweet vanilla, marshmallow type fragrances. Sweet, fresh, and sharp, I really love it for the summer or for when I want a brighter scent.

For an edible citrus this is an easy reach for me. I layer it with Soft from Al-Rehab which brings more vanilla and caramely notes. I may repurchase this to keep with my gourmands when I run out but it's nothing that I couldn't live without.

A sweet and juicy sugared lemon. Very straightforward. This is a nice, refreshing scent - not like a “kitchen cleaner” lemon smell at all which is great. Good for the summer and spring but doesn’t last a super long time. Kinda boring. 4/10

This smells gorgeous - a soft, creamy citrus - and I love the scent but it’s extremely weak. It is very cheap however so wasn’t expecting too much. I’d say worth it for the price just for the scent. Expect very frequent reapplications

Sugary, minty, sour, fruity lemon. This is frivolous, pop-y and fun. Almost too juvenile to wear out, but it's just polished enough that I can pull it off with confidence. Makes me not take the day too seriously.

Refreshing sugar-like scent reminiscent of a candied lemon. Very bright with light performance, ideal for layering. Really wish It lasted longer, probably a one time purchase for me.

Very pleasant: light, fresh, hint of citrus (just right), not overpowering. Saving 1/2 the travel size for a brunch date. Full bottle worthy.

Sooo yummy but sooo faint. It has next to no sillage and only lasts about an hour. It smells like a less nuanced version of D&G Devotion.

strong lemon note, reminds me of lemsip and the tea you'd have when sick. I certainly dont mind it, very simple and clean

It’s pretty straight forward, it’s a yummy candied lemon. Smells really good and sweet but it fades super fast

Layer this with al rehab's soft and you'll get something similar to Lira, Akro bake, and Hard to Get.

This fragrance reminds me of lemon rock candy, it’s a perfect blend of sweet citrus.

Kinda reminds me of an orange or lemon scone with icing. Doesn't last though.

I don’t love it but it’s not bad. Very aptly named—smells like a lemon sorbet. Just lemon and sugar. It’s clean I guess but just not my personal favorite. If you’re really into lemon and want something really simple, go for it.

A slice of lemon with sugar sprinkled on top. Pleasant and refreshing but very light and doesn't last a long time. I treat it more like a body spray and use it mostly at home.

The opening is reminiscent of BR540... am I crazy? This is a juvenile juicy citrus fragrance. Nothing special or unique, but pleasant nonetheless.

It’s just lemon and jasmine. I don’t get anything else from it, can smell like a cleaning product. It reminds me a bit of Light Blue.

the initial spray is a cute sugared lemon, but it dries down to a lysol scent pretty quickly on me

sweet fruitloops - very lemony, though and makes you want to crinkle your nose.

The smell disappears almost instantly.

Whenever I blind buy a perfume I always spray the first spray into the cap before I spray it all over myself to see if I will like it. In the cap this smells like lemon merengue pie and is very delicious. However when I decided to spray this on myself (one spritz on the wrist and 3 on my neck/chest) the only thing I could smell was sour lemon candy... like war heads extreme sour type candy. Not my vibe personally. So in short this was a scrubber for me, there was no sweetness at all and unfortunately I found it pretty long lasting. I will try this again in a couple weeks and see if it changes or maybe I will try it layer it with a vanilla perfume.

To me, this is two parts: 1/2 of it is crystalized-sugar lemon air freshener, and 1/2 of it is a trio-blend of bergamot (while not listed it does seem to be in there), salt, and jasmine. I wasn't crazy about this one. The lemon felt really synthetic, and I think the salt + bergamot + jasmine combo was too sharp for me; it was headache inducing. All the notes were present the full time I wore it. It also stuck around for quite a while on my skin (4-5 hours) as a personal scent bubble. It seems like a lot of people love this, but it wasn't for me.

That initial spray is mosquito repellent at best. The dry down is green/citrus fragrance dish washer detergent. Reminds me a bit of lemon verbena, though not listed as a note. I'm not even sure if this is OK to re-gift or to use as a home fragrance. I don't understand why, but there's something off-putting to it. It's green, citrus and a bit sour.

The opening almost reminds me of lemon vodka, or one of those fun new seltzers. Incredibly sweet but acrid. It reminds me of a girl who got a little too drunk at the party.

There’s an almost sickening chemical smell to it.

This one's quite literally a bright, crisp, fresh sugared lemon. This even immediately brought up a mental image of a fresh cut lemon glittering with sugar crystals as the notes are captured clear as day. The jasmine blends a bit more and is harder to tease out, but it gives a clean note and softens the acidic lemon & photorealistic sugar crystals a bit. Personally the brightness of the citrus is a bit overpowering on my body chemistry, but if citrus and lemon is your thing, then go for it! Even though the longevity is about 2 hours, it's inexpensive enough that I think it would be worth it for a citrus lover.

very sweet, juicy and linear citrus! i detected bergamot, some grapefruit and lotsss of tangerine. it’s summery and fairly uncomplicated, but would be great for layering. longevity and projection not so great but that’s what you can expect from a UO frag i guess ahaha.

I am not usually a fan of candied lemon scents but I kind of like this... It’s pretty well blended and not too sweet nor too citrusy. Curently sampling a tester but I would consider getting a full bottle.

Smells nice but the it's so light. Almost smells like a super faint soapy, lemon meringue pie (but without the crust). I don't know, it left me with mixed feelings but definitely wouldn't buy.

More like a citron and not a lemon, which is probsbly why i adore this. Fresh, bright and not sour, almost green. Maybe a little like those scented markers from elementary school

underwhelming. very faint citrus. my bottle may have been a dud as it was kicking around winners for who knows how long. either way, you could do better.

Five minutes of pleasant sweet lemon then nothing at all. Doesn’t last at all, even over lotion. But I wish it did: This is a light pretty summery scent.

I wish this scent lasted longer. I love the smell and I like that it’s intimate and close-to-body, but it disperses almost immediately

Sweet citrus! I absolutely love it! Lasting power is weak but the smell is just so amazing and affordable !
