I LITERALLY FEEL LIKE A CUPCAKE GODDESS WEARING THIS PERFUME!! Le monde gourmand have absolutely blown my mind yet again!! 🎂✨ No seriously though this perfume is so so so gorgeous and im absolutely addicted to it alreadyyy!! 💖 When you first spray it, I do notice a slightly play-doh type of scent as other reviewers have also said. It doesn’t last too long though, and once it settles on the skin it fades away!! After the dry down is when I really start to love this fragrance!! On me it smells like a jammy Victoria sponge cake with sweet vanilla frosting! It’s sweet, bakery-like, and really comforting and has the perfect silage to give you a lovely sweet scent bubble! It has that soft sugary gourmand feel without being too heavy or overwhelming in my opinion and I feel like the longer that you wear this perfume, the better and better it gets!! I feel like this perfume gets its most cakey and delicious after around 1-2 hours and I LOVE how this one develops on my skin, it’s SOOO YUMMM and definitely a compliment getter!! 💕🍰 One super interesting thing I’ve noticed with this perfume is that it can smell quite different depending on the day or even the person wearing it. Some days I get that cake and jam dessert vibe really strongly, but other times it leans more like sugared roses on my skin, which is really interesting and I feel makes this perfume so dynamic and yet still playful, fun to wear!! And when I’ve let others try this perfume, it’s smelled even more gourmand and like a vanilla sponge on them!!🧁🌹 For the price, I honestly think this perfume is incredible value. It smells really nice and it’s also amazing for layering with other gourmand perfumes because it adds that extra sugary, cakey sweetness!! it’s such a fun fragrance, especially if you like sweet gourmands!! As a blind buy though or if you’re just someone who isn’t SUPER into INSANELY SWEET smells then maybe this one isn’t for you, but me personally as someone who is absolutely obsessed with smelling as sweet as humanly possible, I DEFINITELY think this is the best cake perfume in my collection and I adore it sooo much!! ✨🧁💕

I like this scent and it’s definitely grown on me, at first I thought I smelled strawberries but it’s just a very icing heavy confetti cake smell to me. It honestly reminds me of how a snack cake or something would smell if it was pretty Not what I was initially expecting but it’s nice! I also don’t get any rose

To me, this is a photo-realistic funfetti fragrance. It's sweet and playful and I'm obsessed with it. I got it for my boyfriend's sister for Christmas and have been meaning to pick up a bottle for myself since. It amazes me how these notes can combine to smell so much like something else.

This is my favorite from Le Monde Gourmand -- it of course has a sweet cake smell, but there's a subtle amber in this one that helps it layer really well with more "mature" fragrances. Low-medium projection and short lifespan make this one great, but with ample room for improvement.

Dude this smells straight up like Strawberry Snowflakes due to their common bergamot note and the milky sweet base in both. Strawberry Snowflakes has strawberries and whipped cream and in the Confetti Dores the Apple blossom, jammy rose and jasmine being so sugared kinda give off a strawberry-like bubblegum sweetness from the opening which is brighter thru the drydown and it's very marshmallowy. It is more powdery in the later drydown from the jammy rose and still very sugared. Confetti Dores is deeper than Strawberry Snowflakes in the opening due to the hazelnut. No bakery or cake scent here, maybe a cupcake scent like a soft sugared vanilla but not like the BBW baked goods vanilla scents like the Happy Birthday mist. I also still smell the bubblegum strawberry snowflakes DNA in the drydown, it's the heart of this perfume and it's the signature vein of Strawberry Snowflakes. This is overall much warmer and more sugary as a scent, more dimensional too than the more simple, louder and lactonic Strawberry Snowflakes. Confetti Dores has musk and vanilla so there is some milky undertone here too along with that bubblegum scent, but it's a more cozy scent than the colder, milky sweetness of Strawberry Snowflakes. It's not as loud strawberry-bubblegum as Strawberry Snowflakes is because there's no actual strawberry note here, but yea they're pretty identical with a few differences. As I mentioned it lacks the very lactonic tone of Strawberry Snowflakes from the whipped cream note there, and Confetti Dores is more woody, warmer and very sugared. This doesn't last more than 3 hrs on me and it doesn't project that much. The Strawberry Snowflakes mist is potent compared to this. How the scent develops. The opening of this is soft vanilla marshmallowy, deep and with that very sweet bubblegum scent. Then instantly I smell some woody cozy warmth from the hazelnut and sugar. It has a warm sugared undertone in the drydown as well, slightly woody - it's from the hazelnut and blonde woods. Jasmine is also a note which along with orange blossom and vanilla or caramel it creates a nutty effect as in Scandal Le Parfum and in La Vie Est Belle L'Eclat with the iris there too. Here the nutty effect is more subtle and I smell it in the drydown mainly, so yea I only get some deep warmth from the Hazelnut in the opening and not an intense nutty effect early on. The hazelnut retains the cozy warmth in the fragrance along with the vanilla. It's still nice but yea I expected something new not a strawberry snowflakes clone. It is more perfume'y in the drydown than Strawberry Snowflakes, and more vanilla-centered in comparison, it doesn't smell like a mist, it's only juvenile in the opening imo.

It’s a good value as is tradition with this brand. I quite like it. On first spray it smelled exactly like a vanilla cake, on my skin and the dry down some of those other notes start to pull through. I don’t get any rose but I consider that a win, I’m an unabashed rose hater. For the unusual description of notes it really doesn’t go further than being vanilla, lactonic, buttery/cakey. Overall it’s a good vanilla and I didn’t yet have one in my collection, surprisingly. Lasts quite a while on clothes with decent sillage but won’t last as long as a pricier fragrance.

I was really expecting this to be a heavier, very cakey & decadent gourmand scent. Upon first spray, I barely smelled anything. I doubled up on my usual number of sprays (typical for this brand’s longevity) and still could barely smell anything. However after it dried down, the scent developed into a light, powdery but sweet cake scent. Actually very beautiful! But definitely not what I was expecting based on the review videos I had seen—all the reviews said this was a “photorealistic cake” scent. All that’s said, still very lovely and will use up.

On my skin, this smells like catching a whiff of confetti cake from far away with a bit of champagne in the background. It’s not loud or overly gourmand like I expected from the promo pics, but the cake note is definitely there. On the initial spray, I do get that cake along with a weird metallic note ??, but thankfully, that fades quickly. The drydown is smooth and surprisingly not juvenile for me—it actually feels kind of sexy ngl. I like this.

Super fruity scent, not really that “cakey” smell if you are looking for that. Ive had people tell me it smells like pink starburst. The bottle is beautiful and goof for the price, but if you really want a cake smell this is not it. If you want a light sweet smelling fruity scent, id totally get it.

Not your typical confetti or birthday cake fragrance! This smells like a confetti cupcake topped with buttercream frosting and candied rose petals. It also reminds me a lot of strawberry poundcake from bath and body works, which would be a great layering option.

A very fun scent that mimics frosting quite well. Very sweet, with some creaminess. Less vanilla-forward than I expected, but still a fun, playful fragrance.

very odd in a way that's difficult to describe. the opening is very fruity with a bacground plastickiness to it. as it dries down, the plasticky scent settles into something that, on my skin, is unfortunately close to the smell of baby wipes. after a couple of hours, that thankfully dissipates and all that's left is a vague sweetness. it isn't terrible, and it may eventually grow on me, but i don't think i would repurchase, and wouldn't recommend it as a blind buy for anyone wanting a true gourmand

I just got my bottle and I'm a bit surprised. I thought this would be more cake-y and vanilla, based on how it was described. It smells like a plasticky floral on initial spray; it reminds me a bit of a Band Aid. It does dry down slightly sweeter but it's still quite floral. I don't think I would have picked this up in the store if I smelled it first; this was a blind-buy for me.

Uff what a roller coaster. LMG fragrances always smell better in the drydown, whyyy? Tbf it does smell like a cake, the opening kind of reminds me of a lemon cake, sweet yet zesty but with A LOT OT PLASTIC IN IT It's not well blended and cloying. It smells synthetic, kind of like plastic dolls in a birthday cake kind of way idk something is off. After an hour or so the plastic scent is not as strong anymore and you can somewhat enjoy the fragrance but there is still a weird, off-putting undertone going on. And then 3,4 hours later it does smell better. The scent feels more blended and grounded even but it does smell like buttercream. The drydrown is lactonic, I wouldn't even say creamy. It reminds me so much of milk with a butter note in the background. It's not really cloying anymore and in general enjoyable but you have to go through sooooo much plastic to get there. It's just not worth it. The opening is disastrous, then after an hour it's just off-putting only to get an okay-ish lactonic buttery vanilla after 4 hours and obviously the projection is not the best with LMG so yeah decide for yourself.

very odd yogurty sourness.... slight floral touch that I'm not sure can go with the sour. i was hoping for a sweet gourmand and this is not that for me, unfortunately. blind buy that i regret. i don't even know if i would call this a good lactonic fragrance because i don't think this succeeds as a lactonic fragrance either. reminds me of plastic, play doh, and bandaids...

I was expecting more of a sweet birthday cake gourmand but something about it is weird and off putting. It smells exactly like the strawberry dreams eos lotion. not a safe blind buy

that rose note had me gagged in a bad way

At first it smelled like "strawberry dreams" by eos lotion. It smells like a candle, and the apple blossom note and rose note is pretty apparent at first, and then I got a weird funky smell? I got the wood note, it smelt like the lit candle part of a cake. The dry down smelt very good after a few hours. Debating on giving it away.
