THIS PERFUME SMELLS LIKE A PURE STRAWBERRY MILKSHAKE AND I AM COMPLETELY OBSESSED!! 🍓💖🍼 This was my first impression trying a fragrance from Le Monde Gourmand and honestly I’m blown away by how delicious this scent is. It’s exactly what I wished Burberry Her Elixir would smell like when people described it as a strawberry milkshake (which, to me, it unfortunately doesn’t) 🥲💖 Fraise Fouettée is the ultimate gourmand strawberry fragrance! Imagine a McDonald’s strawberry milkshake transformed into a perfume, it’s intensely sweet, sugary, and drenched in this bright strawberry syrup accord that feels thick, creamy, and completely mouth watering. It’s such a playful, indulgent scent and might honestly be my new favourite strawberry fragrance out of my huge strawberry perfume collection!! 🥰 The milky pink liquid is also absolutely gorgeous. I’ve always loved milky-looking fragrances and this one is just so fun and eye catching on a perfume shelf it’s such a pretty addition to any collection!! Performance wise, the sillage is fairly moderate. It won’t leave a huge scent trail behind you, but it definitely creates a soft cloud where people close to you will pick up that sweet, creamy milkshake goodness. On my skin it lasts around 4 hours,which for the price point I’m honestly very happy with!! 💖 I also want to mention something since I’ve seen the comparison a lot: as someone who owns the Crybaby perfume, this does not smell like it at all. The only real similarity is the milky aesthetic of the liquid. Crybaby is much less strawberry forward and has a softer, more mature profile, whereas Fraise Fouettée is unapologetically sweet, syrupy, and very strawberry centric!! If you love smelling as sweet and edible as possible like I do, this is pure heaven! That being said, I do feel like you need to be a serious gourmand lover for this to be a safe blind buy because it is very overly sweet, very dessert like, and fully leans into that sugary strawberry milkshake vibe 🍓 For me though, it’s perfection!! and I can already tell it’s going to be one of the most used fragrances in my collection!! 🍓💕

yea when i first smelled this in the 3 story playplace that is the herald square urban outfitters, i was so smitten i had to borrow it then and there. (after pacing around for 30 minutes examining the risk reward balance) ((they have a fking poke bowl bar in there dude, everything was fab and meaningless, who cares?)). for most of my life til this past year id never really wear or care about perfume-it was genuinely like nothing ive ever smelled before. its a pow of fruits mag plaster fantasy world. it smelt like a little girl toy!! (recall: mylittleponys being coconut scented) it made me feel like i was a little girl toy!!! id wear it when id wear yellow polka dot dresses to fashion school skipping onto campus with an icecream bar and a dog collar around my neck. it even accompanied me to screamo shows which were highly judgemental fear response spaces where i felt like i had to be what they wanted, to be wanted. it had its fun little run with me thru out my spring semester, but alas, it sits on my shelf 1/3 full and largely untouched 1.5 years later. its more of a novelty scent to me, easily losing my loyalty given i can recall its sucrose by simple thought. grateful it exists during my blip of a diva lifetime. One thing though, it does not last like my other le monde perfume. i remember once very fruitily asking my friends back then, dont i smell like strawberry milk right now yall? not even a couple hours after spritzing and they replied no. you smell like cigarette smoke

when i tested this at the store ive had been looking for a good strawberry perfume that ACTUALLY smelled like strawberry and let me tell you i bought it INMEDIATLY after the first sniff. to me it smells IDENTICAL to the Too Faced’s lip plump lip gloss, its just like putting that one on. definetly strawberry and i’m absolutely getting banana too, although i dont think its lactonic or milky like i’ve seen people say... its more like those sugary strawberry gummies, ones we call “besitos” here in spain. i understand why some people think its synthetic, artificial kind of medicinal, it IS sickly sweet, as i said its like candy for me. i personally think it smells delicious but it gets very sickly and strong soon so i wear it only at certain times. when ive had it on, ive been told i smell like pure strawberry so its absolutely the strongest note. ive also noticed its a very feminine and, really, childish scent. perfect if you love strong sweet scents or if youre looking for a pure strawberry perfume like me, but clearly not for everyone/everyday

when i first smelled it in store i hated it, but for some reason it drew me back in. i couldn’t stop thinking about it. i went back and bought it on the spot. i am OBSESSED with this perfume. it’s such an innocent sweet strawberry milkshake scent. on spray there is a sickeningly sweet cough syrup adjacent strawberry smell, which is objectively bad BUT it goes away immediately once on the skin. the application is also a bit sticky, but give it about 3 seconds and it’s fine. on the skin it’s a gorgeous strawberry milkshake scent, heavier on the strawberry than the cream. after an hour or so it fades to a mostly laconic ice creamy with a hint of berry leftover. my only qualm is i feel like it doesn't last very long, but i also tend to spray pretty minimally.

if you took the movie 'i believe in unicorns' and bottled it into a fragrance... swooning feverish memories of girlhood, the clutching of strawberry shortcake dolls... expired banana lip gloss and shitty claire's makeup, all smothered n sticky across your lips and eyelids... but despite those fuzzy feelings, theres this barely-there backdrop of bitterness, akin to chewing orange peels out of curiosity, forced gulping of medicine down your throat, or the naive pluck-and-whiff of flowers during recess you just now realize all these years later were poisonous uncomfortable festering weeds, but its okay because they were Oh So Lovely,.... a thin veil of bittersweet maturity slipping through the liminal cracks of a tainted, sweet sweet innocence

This is the strawberry I've been searching for! I've been wanting a sweet girly strawberry candy scent , creme de la Berry by jousset Parfums was my fav until this one, that one is straight up strawberry milk which I love , this one is like real strawberries squished into melted strawberry candy , I tried Burberry her before for a candy strawberry scent and that one is very sharp to my nose but I did enjoy it when I had it . I tried red velvet pink sugar, that one was very strawberry shortcake doll scent. But I love strawberry as a note and I haven't found one that's been my ideal dream strawberry perfume until this one . I love really sweet scents so keep in mind u gotta love sweet to love this

I love this! Very nostalgic🍓😋❤️. This is not strawberry shortcake or jammy strawberry, but instead a delicate, smooth strawberry like cream savers. It's a little tart and buttery (not butter scent)probably from the bannana note. I was a worried when I saw vanilla as a base note and was expecting it to make this smell like BBW strawberry shortcake🤢, but thank goodness it doesn't. This is more like a strawberry scented candle. If you don't like that you won't like this. I was hesitating wearing it to work, but to my surprise many compliments came and they wanted to know what it was and where they could purchase it. I will buy this as long as it's available. Plus side, it's very affordable!

This perfume isn't for everyone, though I personally love it. It reminds me of strawberry scented toys, lip balm and strawberry milk- which makes me happy :) But if you often find things smelling "too" sweet or prefer more mature or deep scents, this might not be for you- which is fine. I wouldn't call this a safe blind buy unless you are very sure you enjoy these kinds of scents. It lasts relatively long, but stays rather close to the skin- I can still find traces of it after wearing it all day, but it doesn't ever really radiate off the skin. This does make it more appropriate for wearing anywhere you want though, despite its uniqueness, since it's not too noticeable unless up close.

Jordan almonds, cotton candy ice cream, yakult, strawberry milk, pink cake mix, saltwater taffy. Normally I hate gourmands and synthetics, but this is a fun little gem that doesn’t try to be more than it is–straightforwardly sweet, reasonably priced, with a pretty milky pink juice. It’s soft and creamy, with less of that overpowering fake alcohol smell that ruins many sweet perfumes. Truthfully not suitable for anyone over 12 years old, but I like to spritz a little after a shower to wear at home with a cute matching pajama set.

i love it omg smells sweet & nostalgic does remind me of old BBW & VS scents but cant put my finger on which one, somebody said Sweet Pea & i forgot how that smells but remember loving it so maybe that one lol but its very weak sillage, good for spraying on ur arm to sniff throughout day for a mood lift or wearing at a job u cant wear offensively loud perfumes to. doesnt change throughout wear smells the same all day (gets fainter) its giving dreamer, free-spirited & youthful🧚✨

I’m completely in love with this scent! It’s the perfect strawberry milkshake scent and it lasts on the skin forever (I took a shower and I can still smell it on my wrists). The only major problem is the projection. This is absolutely a perfume you have to smell on yourself or someone, no one can smell it outside of someone standing against you or yourself. If they create one with better projection....I’ll spend $200 on it.

sensational. not to be a perfume snob but I usually like expensive perfume. this is so yummy and scrumptious and strawberry-y and great for the price. smells very warm, very layerable especially with another vanilla like kilians YBM. it smells like if you got a build a bear with a strawberry scent satchel in it and it friggen works. very edible and definitely somehow sexy.

Absolutely gorgeous. Smells like kiddie bubble bath, strawberry incense or chapstick. This would work great on anyone, especially if you like strawberries, but as a young girl’s first perfume it would great because it’s mostly light and fun and the milky pink formula looks cute on display. Cute gift for a kid going back to school or to a first dance.

It smells super good I REALLY LIKE it! The only problem I have with it is that you have to LITERALLY dig your nose into your skin just to smell it. It is very long lasting and today, even on a hot day, like today, it stayed on until 7:10am-6:15pm. In conclusion, smells AMAZING, lasts awhile, and super super subtle scent!

strawberry nostalgia bottled up! smells like strawberry chapstick and babydoll heads but in a more palatable way. Buttery strawberry with hints of sweet banana and soft vanilla undertones. Such a fun take on strawberry that’s definitely very specific for who will enjoy it, but it’s just so charming.

One of my fav perfumes of all time. Smells like strawberries and cream. Smells like sipping strawberry milk out of a silly straw while watching the Candy Land movie. Just wish it lasted a bit longer, I am constantly reapplying. Also LOVE the thick, sticky texture of this fragrance

For me it’s smells soo gooodd. Strawberry and banana covered in whipped cream. The smell is fantastic for me, but the longevity is like zero 😭😭 half an hour and the smell is gone. I wish it were stronger I would use it every day.

This is my very first perfume and I absolutely love it! It smells the way strawberry boba tastes and I was impressed with how long it lasted, and I'm satisfied with the projection!

I really like this one - though it can become cloying on its own as it’s pretty linear. It smells like sticking your nose into a strawberry Nesquik container, and I found if it’s over sprayed that’s what you’ll smell all day. I find it’s better mixed with a coconut or other vanilla/lactonic scent just to give it more depth as it dries down. Wouldn’t wear it on a very hot day, though, just because it can become cloying. Personally I don’t get the chapstick scent others talk about, but I also didn’t use those much as a kid. It isn’t realistic strawberry, but it does give strawberry flavoured milk for me, which is what I expected when I bought it. For the price, you can’t really go wrong with giving it a go if it sounds interesting to you. Edit: I’ve tried it with Commodity Milk and big yes from me, brings in that marshmallowy milk scent and warms it up for colder spring or autumn days

At first I was not in love with this scent. I am an avid hater of artificial strawberry lipgloss smells and this is initially what I thought it smelled like, BUT that was upon me smelling the bottle itself. However, this has grown onto me and it’s now one of my favourites. it smells sweet, creamy, and subtly fruity scented strawberry milk with a very small delicate hint of a vanilla added to it. It’s powdery and it’s a super super fun and loving scent. It has lots of layers to it which I didn’t initially think it had. It’s a unique take on a strawberry scent that is quite delicate and charming in a way. Was drawn to the fact that it has opaque liquid that resembles strawberry milk and it’s just so cute. It’s defiantly a great staring perfume for gourmands.

I think if one were to read about this before even testing, this might be better received by most. I too, immediately thought of lip balm from my childhood. I also thought of waxy toys, bath products and oddly...Popsicles. It's a highly artificial, strawberry, thick (but not heavy) strange gourmond. It feels like certain suburban Americana "dreamcore" images; very liminal. Almost unsettling, but in the best way. - If you're going into this expecting a cohesive fragrance with an alluring or attractive (to wear this to enhance *you*) profile you might be let down. If you go into it in curiosity as to what this fragrance might offer in terms of mental imagery as an *experience*, you might find it nostalgic or intriguing.

I was hoping this smelled more like fresh strawberries but it was more like strawberry lip smacker. Theres also almost no notes of anything else, just straight strawberries and sugar. I was a little disappointed because its not what I expected, but it is very cute and nostalgic! Since this is very one note I would recommend this for layering with other fruity scents (I paired this with Yara Lattafa and liked it a lot). This would also be a great gift for a young girl, very “baby’s first perfume”.

I don’t know exactly why, but Fraise Fouettée feels incredibly nostalgic to me. It paints vivid pictures of liminal spaces like empty pastel hallways, quiet waiting rooms, and childhood places frozen in time. I think the butter note adds this waxy element to the fragrance that gives it that eerie touch. It honestly reminds me of strawberry milk, strawberry chapstick, and strawberry medicine. It’s creamy, girly, and sweet, but also a little odd (in a good way).

what a fun, sweet scent. For someone who doesn't like sweeter scents as much, le monde is slowly changing my mind with their fragrances. This smells to me like a strawberry banana smoothie. Very easy to vibe with a perfume like this, I do however wish I got more of the coconut. This will be a very easy grab for hot weather months whether to layer or to wear on its own. If you like sweet fruity perfumes, you will most likely vibe with this. Overall 8.3/10

Nesquik strawberry milk. I HATE bananas in general and was terrified of the note but I detect no banana at all. I am in an eternal quest to find the perfect “strawberry shortcake doll” scent and unfortunately this is not it. Still so far is my favorite strawberry perfume, much better than Burberry Her, BBW strawberry shortcake and accident a la vanille creme de la berry. Don’t be fooled by the affordable price, remember this is a teeny tiny 30 ml

I was expecting this to smell like strawberry milk, as I saw it being described in TikTok vids. Surprisingly, it doesn’t smell like that at all to me. To my nose, it smells just like the pink gummy sweets with some white at the bottom, covered in sugar. It is a tad bit juvenile and hard to wear on a daily basis, but I will be layering this with other scents for the summer.

In around 2005 or 2006 me and my childhood best friend became obsessed with Lip Smackers. We'd carry literal suit cases full of them to each other's houses to 'trade'. This perfume smells like opening those suit cases and having waxy strawberry, banana, skittles, Sprite, vanilla, etc. fill our noses. I kind of want to drink it because I miss eating my Lip Smackers.

I smelled this in Ulta today, it def has crybaby by Melanie Martinez dna but fruitier, and missing the powder/lipstick accord. I say if you like/love crybaby you’ll prob like this! Has pretty good longevity too as I accidentally sprayed this on my arm trying to spray on a tester strip and I can still smell it 5 hours later

starts out as a sickly sweet "artificial" strawberry cake scent but quickly fades into a softer, creamy strawberry whip. it reminds me of strawberry milk and old strawberry shortcake dolls. perfect for fans of sweet fruit and gourmand notes. i personally pair it with warm vanilla sugar by bath and body works!

To me, it smells EXACTLY like a yakult drink. It literally just feels like I'm spraying the drink all over myself. Still smells pretty nice, but it's definitely not very long lasting, like most perfumes at this price point. You can usually find it in places like TJMaxx and Burlington for about $15.

def not my favorite. it reminds me of when i was younger and i would strive to smell like a cupcake. very cute and innocent, just not anything special to me. it does make me feel like a barbie whenever i wear it though :)

Super sweet and a bit tart, but the fruitiness is bit too artificial for me. I don’t get any coconut water, butter, vanilla, or banana, really just strawberry and sugar. Has minimal sillage and only lasts about an hour.

A very cute & synthetic gourmand. Smells exactly like pink Laffy Taffy or Strawberry Starburst! Could be the topper on a layering combo. Want to try with the new Kayali Rock Candy.

McDonald's Strawberry Shortcake toy. It's really really cool. I feel like a doll when I wear this. I always pair it with pink lipstick and a stupid little hat or something.

I really wanted to LOVE this one... especially after ordering it and seeing how milky it was (looking for a Cry Baby replacement). I got the big'ol 100ml bottle and made a decent effort wearing it but it's SO WATERY, yet sticky at the same time! It feels nasty on your skin. No way can you use it as a hair mist (which I tried) because it causes a greasy mess. I love the way it smells in the bottle but you have to like what it is... Artificial milky strawberry. Strawberry shortcake dolls from the 80's... Scratch n' Sniff stickers. Most of you won't even know what this stuff smells like, so it would make sense why it gets hate for the scent, LOL. The rest of the hate is well founded. It lasts maybe 30 mins MAX, you have to spray a ton of it & it's a sticky mess like it actually has real sugar in it. But... am I gonna keep it? Yes! I love to smell it out of nostalgia :)

Likely won't repurchase. I'm not the target audience for this scent but I bought it as part of a haul and I had a moment with gourmands last year. This is one that's still sitting mostly full. I use it occasionally. It's more of a nice-to-have and I have to be in the mood for it. Definitely not an everyday fragrance. Because it smells so much like a strawberry milkshake it has that "edible" scent quality that has a few practical uses, but it's certainly not "sensuous" or sophisticated in any sense of the word.

I don't mind that it smells like strawberry icing straight from the container. Truly, I don't. What I mind, even for $28, is that of all of the Le Monde Gourmands I own, this and Pistachio have absolutely no staying power whatsoever. Not even 30 minutes on moisturized skin. If you want a plastic strawberry babydoll from the 90s scent, try Plastic by Xyrena. At least it lasts for hours. I suppose Fraise is ideal for a kid/tween who wants to give perfume a try, or a bedtime scent.

not my fave. at first it smelled like bubble gummy strawberry chapstick and i enjoyed it, but after a while it was just really waxy and not very sweet on my skin. gonna be wearing it at home and pairing it with yara to try and use it up but i won't be repurchasing. it's sad because when sprayed in the air it smells like syrupy strawberry milk, which is what i wanted.
