Mélodie de Thé

A very lovely floral tea fragrance. It surprised me so much because it comes from a house known for gourmands, yet it isn't gourmand or sugary at all. It opens with a soft hint of lemon and bergamot but it isn't a citrusy fresh scent. The opening is a little shrieky. Overall, this is an almost pure floral tea. Imagine a jasmine green tea, light and less earthy. It is only slightly sweet. Very bright and happy smelling. I get no hibiscus (which I'm usually sensitive to and generally dislike). It only lasts 2 hours on skin and really hugs the skin. After 2 hours, I had to lift my arm up to my nose in order to smell the area I sprayed. Perhaps it is stronger on clothing. Even though it's weak, the bottle is affordable and has a cute design. It reminds me a lot of VS Jasmine Tea Sunrise, but Melodie de Thé is less sharp and more rounded. It's also more feminine and soft. Slightly sweeter with less citrus. I was also reminded of Libre Eau de Toilette with its very floral tea heart. If you love this one, Libre edt is stronger (but also more floral and cloying from orange blossom). Melodie de Thé is one of 4 limited edition scents from the Alice in Wonderland collab. There is a duo with a very sweet (ethyl maltol type) hazy rose. The other two scents in the collection are gourmands.

I genuinely really enjoy this fragrance, and the house of Le Monde in general, this scent especially was really good in my opinion, Its very sweet in an unexpected way, assumingly from the nectar note, but its very photorealistic when it comes to being a tea perfume, it is green, lemony, sweet, and light, so I definitely would say this is a skin-like scent, but also not too light that it just dissipates. It was done very well!

this scratches the itch (very strong yearning) i have for Dear Polly by Vilhelm Parfumerie. i gave it a sniff in ulta and immediately purchased because it reminded me so much of it. it's subtly sweet, green floral and tea that is very present.

absolutely wonderful! don't be scared by the "sugared lemon" its not sweet like that at all. its a beautiful lemon tea w honey scent that almost smells like honeysuckle im in love

A surprisingly elegant release from Le Monde Gourmand. Obviously, befitting the name of the perfume house, most of its line leans sweet, creamy, but Mélodie de Thé is a nice exception. It opens with a bright flash of citrus—bergamot blossom, lemon, and mandarin—clean and perfect for heat. The jasmine and tea come forward, creating a soft aromatic floral that feels airy. There’s a gentle green nuance underneath, but nothing sharp, stemmy, or bitter. What I appreciate most is the lack of syrupy sweetness—no candy, no milky gourmand behavior. Just a fresh, citrus‐tea floral with ambrette giving a smooth skin finish. It’s simple, pretty, and genuinely refreshing in summer. I’m happy with it—easy to wear, uplifting, and far better structured than I expected.

Randomly tried this in store when testing the brand for the first time and bought a bottle. Sparkling citrus opening is nice though can be sharp. Then fresh white florals, which I love! Some days I easily pick out the tea note and other days I am nose to skin, hunting for that tea scent. The base notes round out the composition but I don’t notice just the base note scents sticking around for long. I spray 1-2x on skin and once on clothes with low projection, 2-3hrs, and then just barely there skin scent for another 1-2hrs.

Holy f*ck this is GOOD. I am a honeysuckle fanatic and this gives off the literal nectar from honeysuckles I used to lick as a kid. It is soooo beautiful! Such a gorgeous blend of tea, bergamot, nectar and jasmine. All of these are notes I already love but with everything combined I smell like what a goddess would smell like.

This smells so much more expensive than it is. At first it smells like a greener, brighter version of Le Labo's Bergamot, then I start to get a jasmine green tea more on the dry down. so lovely, classy, and somehow still unique considering the multitude of tea fragrances on the market right now.

The drydown depressed me cause initially it was giving me replica tea escape vibes.
