Pétale Éphémère

This fragrance opens with a heady and strong pink bubble gum orange blossom note. After about ten seconds, the peach, although a synthetic interpretation of one, adds a bright, fruity, floral, and tart accord to the fragrance. The rose in this fragrance is dewy, young, and subtle. The marshmallow accord is very present in the dry down and blends nicely with the other notes present. To me, this fragrance is very similar to Love Don’t Be Shy, and I can personally say that I prefer Pétale Éphémère. It’s less headache inducing and screechy to my nose, and the rose in this fragrance isn’t mature. It’s a very pretty, delicate, and girly fragrance and projects well on clothes and skin. It is perfect for a spring or summer date day or going out to brunch or a lunch date with friends.

literally fruity pebbles and fruit loops in a bottle, with a strong floral note. the orange blossom, peach, and marshmallow give it that sweet milky cereal scent. first spray the floral note is strong, but it settles into that marshmallow base well upon dry down. I'd love to pair it with phlur vanilla skin or ded cool xtra milk to make it the perfect bowl of cereal. Also sticky dates from lush to skew it more warm vanilla sweet gourmand. I'm obsessed and it's my next buy for sure. For me I prefer a sweet gourmand like this in cooler months, for the warmth and baked quality. Summer I could find it very cloying, but on a rainy day shopping for holiday gifts I'd love it or a cool spring day in a pretty dress on a picnic.

i found this on facebook marketplace and omg... it’s my new favourite perfume!! it’s so juicy, succulent, and so yummy. i’ve never smelt oriana before so i can’t say how similar it is, but it’s soft, sweet, and i want to inhale it all day like i’m insane. i can see why people think it’s similar to love, don’t be shy but i don’t think it’s redundant to own both. personally, i find this more easy to wear, even though i love the both of them. it’s that marshmallow and orange blossom combo i’m always a sucker for. i find this more fruity than floral. i’ve been wearing this a lot recently, and i do find that i have to reapply it at least once, but for the price i think that’s okay, because i just love the smell so much.

To me... I LOVE THIS. Its sweet, citrus-y, creamy, powdery, and a touch of blossom. Its very much also giving candy! I definitely get orange/fruit and a creaminess from the marshmallow. Its delicate and comforting, like something from my childhood. Smarties, fruit loops, fruity pebbles? Yes yes yes, in a sense! But make it wearable, unique, and lovely! Its one of those scents where you're like mmmm that smells yummy but also different! I have a sample of LDBS... and I do not think they smell the same. I didn't care about LDBS... BUT I do love this! I'll have to try oriana and see if its similar. Of course like most perfumes from this line, they dont last the longest but I love spraying it on so we good! 🍊🍑🍦🥛🍬

Literally the perfume that has started getting me into fragrance!! Initial thought when I sprayed in store: those Froot Loops cereal straws from the 2000s! Sharper and a bit fruity at first, and eventually dries down to a sweet softer marshmallowy floral. Could definitely see how it would be overly sweet to fans of cleaner scents but personally I’m obsessed!! Seems to last me up to 4ish hours but honestly for $25 I’ll reapply as many times as needed haha!

Perfect Oriana dupe - I have both perfumes and I'm telling you they are identical. Ironically, LMG's lasts MUCH longer too. Oriana is definitely a bit stronger and pronounced, it projects a bit better. But honestly, you may as well just save your money and grab Petale Ephpemere. I don't know that I would even repurchase Oriana again bc this is such a good dupe. Rating: 10/10

i've gotten so many compliments on this one. friends will sniff me unapologetically when i wear this fragrance. my favorite to wear to work because it smells great but it's not overpowering. definitely get the marshmallow smell... on me it smells like fruity pebbles

I discovered this a week ago. The dent I have made in this since then is ridiculous. I absolutely love it . Upon smelling, I knew immediately it was an Oriana dupe. But it smells slightly lusher and sweeter...just absolutely addicting. God it’s just great. 🤤🤤🤤

OBSESSED. yummy, feminine, fluffy marshmallow and florals. Smells almost identical to Oriana by parfumes de marley. slightly less tart than oriana but seriously so similar. a powdery feminine marshmallow dream!

Marshmallow & (powdery) Fruity Pebbles. The longevity is there. I can still smell this lingering after work, so I'm talking 8-12 hours. Definitely gives Oriana at a fraction of the cost!

It smells like laundromat to me, but if you keep smelling it, the base notes start showing a powdery orange blossom and rose. It's very clean detergent or even the blue fabulosa

Oriana vibes, but using peach instead of raspberry. Super duper fluffy decadent but still airy for spring. For $25.

Milky Oriana, softer and less citrusy. Sooooooo weak but I love it so much!!

I heard that this brand has some good scents, so I picked this one on a whim after only briefly smelling it, so I didn't really know what I was getting into lol. the peach is lovely, but I think it wears out a little too quickly. after that it's a very, very strong orange blossom scent. I quite like orange blossom so I don't mind, but I wish there was more tartness to cut through it. after a while, the orange blossom calms down and it becomes a pleasant sweet, (slightly) musky smell. I do like this perfume overall, but my main complaint is the headache it gives me! I don't usually experience headaches from perfume but man... idk what they put in this one. if it weren't for that I'd rate this one higher. :(

froot loops! sweet, nondescript fruitiness with a big dollop of marshmallow fluff. I'm really surprised bergamot isn't listed in the notes; my nose picks up on almost nothing but bergamot on first spray. after the citrus settles, I get a juicy, almost overripe peach, giving way to a powdery marshmallow. a very cute, playful scent, PE is like if someone tried to create LDBS/Oriana from memory & came up with this. longevity on me clocks in at about 3 hours with an intimate scent bubble. as someone who enjoys this particular scent profile, I think this is a great accessible version of the top-dollar stuff in the department stores. definitely worth picking up as a fun little treat.

This smells like candy at first. Like American smarties. Lots of orange blossom & marshmallow. It’s so fresh & clean while still being sweet. It kind of makes me think of fresh laundry once it sits on the skin for a bit. I really love it. I don’t think this smells like LDBS or Oriana. Both of those fragrances are more sweet & complex, there’s no comparing this to those. However, this is great in its own way. A huge compliment getter. Perfect for warmer weather & has just enough strength to wear to work without being intrusive. I don’t find this powdery at all, just a pretty sweet orange blossom.

Very fluffy and sweet, this reminds me a bit of the Oriana dupe I have from lattafa. I'm not the biggest fan of sweet perfumes but when it has that light and airy quality I am almost always sold. I think I get the most of the orange blossom and marshmallow, i'm having a hard time smelling the peach. I always say le monde is the way to go if you want a simpler version of a niche perfume. It is a bit more one-dimensional compared to oriana but if you dont want to spend $300+ for that, this is a great option. overall 8/10

This is pretty and super sweet! To me this smells 100% what Lattafa Ansaam Gold was trying to be. It’s a lot smoother without so much of the dryer sheet smell that comes from Ansaam Gold. I’ve never smelled Oriana so I can’t speak to this being a dupe but I definitely get LDBS vibes. Not a LDBS dupe but similar.

genuinely such a pretty scent. i absolutely love this fragrance, but i wish it had better projection and longevity. it smells heavenly and is such a comforting sweet scent. just on the edge of synthetic, but the dry down is yummy and creamy.

sweet, light floral scent that’s a tiny bit fruity. I can smell some of the orange blossom, although not much of the peach. overall, a light, clean floral scent with a bit of fruitiness without being sharp or intense. smells good!

This is so good! I like it much better than LDBS...it’s more wearable. It’s less bombastic too. It’s a sweet orange bomb!🍊🍊😍

not long lasting but nice sweet peach scent

Rose & orange blossom are the most prominent, was hoping to smell more of the peach and marshmallows. Unfortunately floral is all i got.

Bought based on notes and reviews, hoping for peach, marshmallow, fruity pebbles, fruit loops. I have Dossier Floral Marshmallow, which I smelled on a cashier. I thought was lovely, asked her what it was, and bought it, not knowing it was a dupe for Kilian's Love Don't Be Shy, which I have never smelled. The Dossier is a bit loud for the office, so I ordered this, hoping for a softer, lighter, office safe version. I had 2 other fragrances by the brand, which tended to be office safe. I got none of the above notes. I could see why a previous reviewer called it "strange and matronly." It reminded me of a late eighties, early nineties department store throwback, along the lines of Halston. The powder comes across dusty, like opening an old book that's been in an attic. Or a dated floral perfume sprayed on an old wool coat, where you're smelling equal amounts wool and perfume. I also was thrown off because the juice was murky. but, to my relief, from the photo here, that's what it's supposed to look like. I was hoping for soft, sweet, fruity and fun, but I didn't get any of that. I am aware of changes in fragrance due to temperature, humidity, season, etc. I may wait for another season to try again, as it has been humid and warm where I am now, but honestly, I am already considering which friend to pass it on to.

I feel like this is one of LMG's more longer lasting fragrances, but it reminds me of a scented toy from the 80s or early 90s in a bad way. It's a really heavy, artificial and super sweet powdery rose smell. I kept waiting for the fragrance to develop further upon drying down, but there's just not much (if anything) going on in the fruity or gourmand department here. The rose note is so strong that I can't smell the peach or orange blossom notes at all. It's just not what I was expecting in the least based on the fragrance's description and other reviews I've read.

This was one of the rare occasions when I experienced a complete disconnect between the notes and what I smelled. Strange and matronly is the only way I can describe it. Sample the inspiration first.

This is a sweet floral marshmallow scent. As soon as I sprayed it on my skin, I knew it smelled eerily familiar. To my nose (and probably my skin chemistry has something to do with this) it smells almost identical to Love Don't Be Shy, with the exception that LDBS dries down to an almost-powdery smarties scent and Pétale Éphémère dries down to a more pillowy marshmallow scent. They are both cloyingly sweet with a prominent orange blossom note that seamlessly blends into the marshmallow base. My husband loves this fragrance on me and I love that the marshmallow note reads more pillowy and less powdery in Pétale Éphémère, but there's something about this scent family that makes me feel nauseous and overwhelmed after a few hours. I think it's just too sweet once the peach scent fades away and there's nothing fruity or fresh to cut through the sugar. I haven't really tested either Oriana or Dossier Floral Marshmallow, so I can't compare in that regard. But if you love the floral marshmallow family, I'd definitely give this one a try.

This is such a CLOSE dupe to Oriana(not ldbs). It has that fluffy marshmallow and orange blossom dna that’s suuuuper close to Oriana. Side by side you can smell the differences. It’s missing that tart fruitiness and whipped cream, but besides that, it’s an 85-90% dupe of Oriana, it’s also just as long lasting as Oriana is to me(which is 4 hours at most). Surprisingly I like it more than Oriana, but it still won’t beat LDBS for me in terms of this similar DNA.

petal ephemere is so charming; so simple and yet so unique. sweet marshmallow paired with soft rose and fruity peach, tied together with a strong heart of orange blossom. definitely comparable to a sweet and fruity cereal (like fruity pebbles) as ive seen. lasts, but not forever as i wish it could. my favorite from le monde gourmand, about to buy my third bottle!

It sits in the LDBS and Oriana realm. Closer to Oriana with the powdery note. feminine, fruity marshmallow goodness.I bought this last summer. Sprayed it a few times and forgot about it until I saw it was on sale at Ulta. Now it lasts! I put it on at 930. I could still smell it very strongly 7 hours later.

Sprayed it at Sephora on a whim - didn't expect much, but I immediately bought it. The marshmallow and peach are subtle, but project well on me. Surprisingly beautiful.

I had good expectations but this is so mid. I know it’s not expensive but nevertheless this really is nothing that is worth talking about if you ask me :/ unfortunately

Very good for being a cheapie. It is a dupe for Oriana, soft, fluffy marshmallow and orange blossom. Very cute, even the color of the fluid is girly. Nice, very nice!
