Love,love,love this! Super fresh and salty ! Reminds me of a being on a beach ! I have the body mist as the perfume is no longer available :( this was a blind buy and it did not disappoint! It’s more of a spring /summer scent but can also buy suitable for everyday wear I get compliments on it when I just sprayed it on as it does fade away after about 1-2 hour i also spray it in my hair as it is a hair mist too and keeps my hair smelling clean ! It doesn’t smell cheap at all! Actually it smells exactly like jo Malone WS&SS it smells really clean and fresh such a great scent to have and it’s unique as well I 100% recommend this I hope they bring it back in the parfum if it lasted longer this would by my everyday scent since I’m so sensitive to fragrances this doesn’t bother me at all!

As of this writing (12/2017), this is only sold at Urban Outfitters as a body mist/hair perfume. I was browsing the fragrances/impulse purchase section of Urban yesterday and discovered this. Smells eerily similar to Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt! A little sweet, mellow, very similar to what I liked about Jo Malone (at least from what I remember). I could never justify spending $65 for 30mL of something that barely lasted an hour or two. However, after a preliminary test, Sel Ocean seems to definitely match if not exceed Wood Sage & Sea Salt as far as longevity. Projection, I'm not sure yet, but this was only $24 for a 100mL bottle. Great deal, and definitely worth a try if you like a fresh, oceanic (not marine) scent. I'll write an update once I've worn a few more times.

This scent is an absolute love! It is sweet, a bit salty, and perfect for a hot summer day. I layer it with other salt perfumes like Sea Salt and Fig or Before the Rainbow or all 3 for a sweet, summery scent. Combining these perfumes adds a bit of longevity to these otherwise gone before you know fragrances while providing a nice interplay of notes. I also layer it with Qais by Hamidi (an attar oil - I think it's jasmine and oud) and together they create an intoxicating scent. All of these fragrances brighten any summer day and I love them all!

I believe their batches are very inconsistent and that explains why some people from JM wood sage and sea salt and some don't. Every time I smelled a different group of bottles of this same fragrance, each would be slightly off. I went to another store and smelled theirs and it smelled very floral. However I got lucky with my batch and it smells like a near perfect dupe. I just wish it lasts longer. It is such a comforting scent, I smell notes of sea salt and cashmere (???).

I have this perfumed hair mist spray, in the bottle shown here. Fresh, delicate, salty, barely there misty cloud that hovers gently in the air for about 6 hours. Just a hint of honeysuckle for natural sweetness. Sprayed in your hair, it smells like a fresh shampoo. You can't over spray this one because it's so very light. Great to wear in work places where perfumes are not allowed. Non offensive, natural smelling, refreshing. Sel Ocean is perfect for any age.
