Tomate Bébé

This is exactly like the Trader Joe's Tomato Leaf candle that I adore but can not source anymore. I adore this. It is different but very wearable by any gender. It is fresh, airy, garden-like and crisp. Tomato vibes, bright lift from green pepper and bergamot. The rum is so subtle but helps blend with the caramel base note in a very unique way offering up just a touch of sweetness without being a sweet scent. I think I am in love! Will update as I wear it more! EDIT: I wanted to add - as it begins to dry down it becomes slightly more masculine. Also, for about 5-10 minutes, I was getting an ever-so-slight pickle aroma but it disappeared quickly. EDIT 2: 3 hours later, it has now become a very slight skin scent. This one will need to be reapplied throughout the day, or just enjoyed for a few hours at a time. I do not mind a scent that does not last all day sometimes, as I do enjoy different scents throughout the day. However, sometimes I need a scent that WILL last all day; this one is not one of those for me.

Not as strong as real fresh tomato leaf, but it's still a nice green thing that makes me feel like I'm outside when I'm stuck in the office and the AC is blasting! Dries down to light dried grasses accord after about 4-6 hours. This doesn't last that long but for the price I'm perfectly happy with it.

GREEN. FRESH CRISPY GREEN. This smells exactly as you think it does, but make it... wearable? Maybe. I have yet to do a wear test so stay tuned. On paper, it opens super vegetal and this is very quick - the sharp crispiness fades out and you get a softer, sweeter (NOT in a gourmand manner) ripe tomato skin. The lemon verbena permeates through all the phases here for sure, so clean and pretty. This is one of the only scents that easily allows me to actually envision the thing it's meant to emulate. I totally get this as a candle, so let's see how it wears on the skin! My husband finished 10mL of the REPLICA From the Garden last summer. I think they are certainly related but not dupes at all. If you like tomato leaf/garden/cottagecore type of scents, I don't think owning both would be redundant. From my memory, Replica would be less photorealistic than this.
