Très Pine

This is pretty identical to Pepe Jeans Celebrate for Her, one of my favorite green nutty, "drunk" perfumes. Pepe Jeans Celebrate is more nutty, heavy and spicy and much sweeter than Tres Pine which is also spicy, but this one has less spice. Both retain an identical cold green balsamic animalic and woody sweetness with hints of cozy notes. Rum here, whiskey there so we got some sweet intoxicating vibes in both perfumes and the rum/caramel with the balsam fir here are the main character of the scent while the grapefruit and the middle notes keep it minty, light and fresh. A subtle floral element in Tres Pine makes it rather ethereal on my skin and very pleasant, no pungent rose smell, just a smooth floral touch that joins the balsamic green sweetness. I may love Tres Pine even more than Celebrate and I have 2 bottles of Celebrate because I love it so much. No smoky scent here for me, nothing out of line, everything is in harmony. Tres Pine starts off fresh and spicy sweet, slightly minty-foresty, with an explosion of gorgeous aromas and later on gradually becomes darker and more seductive like an emerald green gem that sparkled bright under the sun, but dropped into a cold lake it appears darker, yet its happy floral side still shines through even after 4 hrs on my skin along with the rum-caramel. I LOVE green balsamic scents, alcoholic notes in perfumes and especially oak moss and fir balsam. Tres Pine checks all boxes for me and it's one of my absolute favorite scents. It is not masculine on me at all, but it is not overly girly which is perfect for me. It's like some sweet green candy of a forest without any harsh or nauseating notes, smooth and fruity yet herbal green. The rum keeps it from being another plain herbal scent and adds some warmth with the caramel. It is not as resinous and ambery as Celebrate, but like I said their differences may be negligible, they are sister perfumes. If more people knew about Celebrate by Pepe Jeans, they'd instantly see the resemblance. The popcorn is intense in Celebrate (I am no popcorn fan or notes like popcorn, but it works there), but in Tres Pine I sense a similar sweet sour edible note from the caramel, rum-grapefruit combo, slightly minty at first and turns sweeter in time, and still detectible 4 hrs later. Balsam fir makes it slightly dark and sexy. Tres Pine is lighter than Celebrate, as in more casual-wear appropriate. Both are stunning. Longevity of Tres Pine is excellent on me about 4-5 hours. Celebrate performs better in projection, as it is stronger and heavier and more gourmand than Tres Pine. Celebrate has water notes, an aquatic side, and I do smell a similar watery refreshing element here from the neroli-davana, which would be the lake surrounding the forest in my mind. They just translate amazing on my skin along with the other green gourmand notes. I dislike caramel in most perfumes, but Tres Pine is so balanced just like Celebrate and it's even better being lighter. Tres Pine has a perfect balance of warm and cold notes, and it's much more wearable, and attractive than the other perfumes I mention below, so the only one that could be equally amazing and girly without any harsh or masculine notes is Pepe Jeans Celebrate (as far as I know). Same league with a common note that comes off quite minty in both scents is Love Desigual, which is another beautiful balsamic sweet green scent reminiscent of the minty sweet green candy from back in the day. Love Desigual is far more minty and heavy, pretty similar to Jimmy Choo Exotic 2015 the green one. They all belong in the Jimmy Choo Exotic 2015 the green one (grapefruit &black currant there too as in Desigual) and Decadence Eau so Decadent family of sweet balsamic green scents, however Celebrate and Tres Pine are far more fresh/herbal. Decadence Eau so Decadent and Jimmy Choo Exotic 2015 are both much darker and heavier than this one. Another beautiful fir scent is VS Serene Snow with fir balsam, but it is a different scent, more harsh/sharp and not on the sweet side, just same league - it reminds me of the signature Charlotte Russe perfume Refuge. Another nutty green balsamic scent in this league, only ALOT heavier than all of the above and which can make me nauseous at times with the nutty vanilla bourbon and balsam is BBW Sleigh Rides and Snuggles. It is not fresh, while Tres Pine, Celebrate, Love Desigual, Jimmy Choo Exotic 2015 and Decadence Eau So Decadent are all fresh. I'd love to try Eilish No3 since there are piney green notes there too mixed with warm ones, but many report a smokey vibe in Eilish No3 while here we don't have any smoke at least in the notes and on my skin.

My absolute FAVORITE Le Monde Gourmond fragrance... anytime I see a bottle of this on the shelf somewhere I grab it! I absolutely never want to be without this scent... It is one of the most fresh, crisp, sweet, but in a breath of fresh Mountain air way smell. This is my husband‘s absolute favorite fragrance. I own, it is just so sad that I have to literally overspray and shower myself in it to get it to stick longer than three hours, and even then five at most... For the price point, I honestly can’t complain though I just hope i’ll have a bottle of this. This is one of my fragrances that I can count on to never give me a headache, or irritate my sinuses but still smell, unique and pleasing. Love to layer this one with Commodity’s Book- and/or the Sand + Fog Santal and Cardamom Perfume Oil for extra depth.

Honestly just using this fragrance as a marker for the Pine Parfait; which I hear got discontinued. But I just discovered it at Winners the other day and I fell in love! Which is confusing because this is the same fragrance notes with a different label? Pine Parfait - Pine, crisp Grapefruit, rum, Creme de caramel, Nutmeg, neroli, Rose, Davana, Sandalwood, Fir Balsam & Oakmoss I love how complex and unique this fragrance is, it seems quite unisex with a warm subtle sweetness to it which is so delicious on the skin! I went through a whole roller coaster ride of many different smells as the scent aged that where all absolutely stunning and I kept going back to my wrist to smell and soaking up the random air wafts! 10/10! 🌲💚

(the review is about Pine Parfait) Smells like making yourself a hot cup of bitter tea on a calm, breezy autumn morning and then adding a bunch of honey and lemon to it, then enjoying it on your porch while the wind blows the crispy, fresh scent of wet trees your way and you’re just in the moment enjoying the misty and gloomy world around you. So so pretty!

This smells unbelievably delicious. On me I get a super fresh, creamy and sweet. Like a decadent latte at a bougie coffee shop. I have no idea why, but it reminds me so much of Creme de Pistacho by Laura Mercier.
