LP04 Golden Gem

I was going fragrance hunting today at Cherry Garden in Budapest, Hungary. I did not have plans to walk out with a full bottle, but here we are... before I get into the scent let me tell you how amazing the lady was who helped me look around. Now, the fragrance itself. I’ve never heard of this brand before but the bottles caught my eye immediately, I was looking for some fresh, yet vanilla based scents or something unique, and the lady told me that she has some recommendations but non of it was LP04, then I told her I’d like to try the entire line since it’s only four fragrances, LP02 was amazing too, a citrusy coconut, but LP04, when she mentioned “fire” I was like I need to try this. And I’m glad I did, this is basically, to my nose, a much more vanilla based Ingenious Ginger but instead of the ginger note you get a soothing rose and bergamot mixed with vanilla, patchouli and Vetiver. The notes are perfectly balanced, they aren’t overwhelming or trying to suffocate the other notes. The fire note? Well, I guess it’s there but it’s more of a cozy feeling to a developed nose, not an actual fire accord. This has gotten me some compliments today already, it’s niche, sure, artisanal? Kinda, does it work? Absolutely! The whole house is worth trying out, Projection and sillage both get an 8/10 from me, on my skin it’s really strong, not a blind buy safe but to me an amazing 9/10.

I was a little worried about the “fire” note smelling too smoky or burnt, but there’s really no noticeable smokiness or bitterness present. The fire is more of a feeling, like the warmth of sitting near a fireplace on a cold night or the coziness of sitting by the window during golden hour. When I first sprayed it on myself, it felt very warm and familiar, even though I had never smelled this perfume or anything like it before. The patchouli note is balanced out really nicely by the bergamot, cardamom, and rose. I had two full-screen Amazon ads pop up while I was typing this review. So obnoxious.

To me, a nice sweet scent, comforting but at times a bit too saccharine for me. The vanilla and patchouli stand out a lot on my skin - wearing this around the house is almost overwhelming after a few hours. I don't get any smokiness at all, just a warm sweetness, like a very clean caramel. I will say that the scent evolves nicely on my skin by the end of the day and lingers as a more subtle sweetness. It just takes at least 4-6 hours to get there. Perhaps its longevity will be a plus for you!

I wondered what kind of scent "fire" would exude, and after smelling it I understand yet can't really describe this scent. It has such warmth to it, but not in a "cozy vanilla by the fireplace" but more like "the sun provides you with warmth but also can consume you" kind of way, if that makes any sense. This scent has an ego, I swear. It's like it's stating "I'm better than you" as a fact and honestly I'm here for it. While I wouldn't wear it in a more intimate setting, it would do well in a time I need a confidence boost.

Silk roses and a digital fireplace, ion the best way possible. A new take on rose! I don’t like rose scents and this doesn’t smell like your typical rose. It’s muted and semi starchy in a good way. The fire accord only adds ambiance like a digital fireplace that provides no warmth, no smoke, just a golden soft filter. Very safe blind buy and very nice.

sweet feminine scent. Im a guy I still bought it. Its clean rose light citrus need a good nose to pick it up and warm scent not stingy at all or overwhelming has abit of cherry drink note to it aswell very sexy feminine scent recommend it for the ladies for your partners admiration or your own time its too pleasant not to enjoy.

On me, it's a pleasant scented hand lotion kind of vibe. Nothing hugely moving either in a good or bad way. Just a cool sort of smooth lotion feel, with some rose and woody notes. Mild.

I smelled it on a blotter, and it wasn’t thic at all just soft, warm, and comforting. It’s the kind of scent that makes want to hug. I’m planning to buy it.
