Whispering Kiss

I've had my eye on the house BEFORE Cal made his review on this. I also got it from a physical store in Korea for around $85, and I do agree that, if you are paying $140+, this may not be entirely worth it. The scent is amazing. I don't think comparing this to SWY Intensely does it any justice at all. It opens sharp and masculine with spices, but it quickly smooths out into the most subtle and delicious vanilla. It's a familiar DNA, but pushed to a quality that's incomparable to the screechy designers that people are comparing this to, and the scent has a very unique almost grainy and husky texture to it that reminds me of the rice note in Je Ne Sais Quoi by Teo Cabanel. Its not as boozy as you might expect from the note listings, and while red bean is unique and present, it's not the focus of the scent. To me, the red bean note, with its malty vanillic, yet also smoky character, serves to blend the notes together in a way that's coherent and makes this fragrance unique. I also do have issues on Cal's review on the scent. I agree with his overwhelmingly positive rating, and I do appreciate him bringing attention to Le Persona (they deserve it), but comparing this scent to what he did is disingenuous. It shares certain notes, but the character of this perfume is entirely different, and people expecting an Azzaro or a SWY twist will be disappointed. It is extremely smooth and warm. It's so very comforting. This scent genuinely competes with Oddity's Naked Dance for the "solves your mommy issues" award. SO many people are complaining about silage. WHISPERING is literally in the name, dingus; its not supposed to be a bombastic in-your-face everybody in the building can smell you typa fragrance. It's a scent that, as you go through your day, you and people around you, will keep catching hints of this in the air. I've seen people in the room sniffing the air looking schizophrenic, trying to figure out "what smells so good and what's it coming from". This lasts for over 10 hours, unironically. It's flirtatious, not in an overtly fuckboy way, but in a way that's genuinely seductive; it's romantic, not lustful. Would I wear this everyday, or even to go out at night? Probably not. But if I'm spending time with loved ones, yes. If I'm having a bad day, I can count on this smell to comfort me, lift my mood. The hype? In the wrong direction. The hate? Absolutely undeserved. Nonetheless, it is an absolutely wonderful fragrance. Smell: 9/10 Longevity: 8/10 Silage: ?/10 (it's weird) Uniqueness: 7/10 Character: 10/10 Value: 7/10 at $85; 2/10 at $140

I'm sure a fair few of you have seen Cal cologne's video on this and how it is his top release of the year, he doesn't often say things like that so I was inclined to blind Buy it. The opening is nutty and warm has a slight designer smell to it but in the best way possible, I can smell the bean paste,if you've had mochi before you'd smell that same softness. In the background you can definitely smell the cognac and rum but its not boozy just warm but not too warm that its suffocating. If I'd have to compare it to something it almost smells like Stronger with you intensely but way softer and more "well rounded". There's an underlying sweetness that bring my nose back to it over and over. This is a first wear so I have no idea on the longevity and sillage but I think its worth it even if its not strong as its really just such a nice smell. 10/10 would at least try and get your nose on it

As a Korean, I find this quite striking. I was genuinely surprised to see how a single post by one fragrance influencer (CAL) was enough to temporarily sell out an one fragrance line from a brand that isn’t very well known in Korea except among fragrance enthusiasts. also there were several news articles about it under headlines like “2025 Discovery by an Influencer” or something similar. It really makes you understand why fragrance companies pay influential and reputable perfume influencers to promote their products. The company has already raised the retail price by about 20,000 KRW. Honestly, I was swept up in the hype as well and made a blind buy, and I do think the fragrance itself is solid and well-made. Still, it leaves a slightly bitter taste, as it feels like the brand may become cocky because of the sudden hype.

I blind bought it from the cal cologne hype and i don't regret it. It's by leaps and bounds my favorite fragrance.. scentwise. Unfortunately, I get 1 hour of projection before it turns into a skin scent. I've seen other people report 8+ hours of longevity so it seems like it's just my skin chemistry, or just my bottle. I still absolutely love the way this smells, just a really well-blended sweet and a little spicy and boozy masterpiece. Perfect for any day there's a slight chill in the air (or colder), and for me it's definitely an indoor only fragrance due to the bad longevity/projection i get. And although i get bad performance i still don't regret buying and will buy again because I just love the scent so much. 10/10 smell 3/10 performance (for me)

Le Persona Whispering Kiss opens with a seamless, hard-to-separate fusion of grounding notes—cardamom, pepper, sage, and immortelle—softly wrapped in resinous white tobacco and a touch of cognac. There is something slightly indolic and a little screechy in the blend, but it works! As it settles, the vanilla and amber take center stage, while subtle woods add some elegant depth. The "fuzziness" calls to mind Jeaux de Peau by Serge Lutens, though with a sweeter, more rounded warmth. Whispering Kiss is as captivating as it is beautiful and it smells like 10 other fragrances on the market right now. I'm not interested in a full bottle. Also, this does not "whisper". It has a very audible and clear voice.

I bought a decant of this based on Cal Calogne's rave review. After trying it, I absolutely went back and bought a full bottle. This is a subtly beautiful fragrance. It doesn't immediately knock your socks off - it takes a moment to really develop and enjoy. At first sniff, I thought "it's nice. nothing exciting." But as it settled, it became more interesting. The cardamom isn't overpowering, the booziness and tobacco don't give "bar scene," it's just subtly interesting and beautiful.

The cardamom perfume of my dreams. I've tried Lune Feline (EDP & extrait) Gris Charnel EDP, and multiple others. But none of them hold a candle to this. I make a conscious effort to disregard social media hype and take reviews with a grain of salt, but this is every bit deserving of the sensationalism. It's as beautiful and comforting as it is sexy and ethereal. I personally find this suitable for any season & time of day. Romance in a bottle!

I’m truly impressed by the top notes of this fragrance. Right from the opening, I immediately detect red bean paste, like the kind used in traditional sweets, and I absolutely love this opening. As it develops, a very soft alcoholic nuance appears, followed by a sweet, comforting base that’s incredibly pleasing to the nose. Don’t let the listed notes fool you, it’s not as boozy as you might expect

Buttery, sweetness with a bit of salt. Smells alot like popcorn. Beautiful fragrance. I blind purchased it and can honestly say it’s the easiest blind buy I’ve ever done. Strangely enough extremely fast shipping, which is weird because it shipped from South Korea and got here in 3 days (U.S, AR). Meanwhile places like Jomashop can take a month.

Wow, might be the best vanilla I have ever smelled. Something about it is so soft and comforting and almost nostalgic. It is a very airy vanilla and I am surprised not many people voted that u can wear it in the summer because it does not seem overwhelmingly sweet at all. I thought this was gonna be hyped for no reason but man is it addicting.

Is this the knock out fragrance I was hoping for? No, but it is very nice. It is a cross between Annam’s Japanese Whiskey (love!) and molecule 01. I smell it more after my day is done than during the day. It lingers nicely. This is a meditative scent. If they come out with body products, I’ll probably buy them.

I just got my bottle, and off of first sniff, this is heavenly! If you enjoy sweeter, warm scents, this is definitely an option to consider. In my opinion this is a safe blind buy, I’m going to do an all day test tomorrow to see the longevity of it!

Mine just arrived, really lovely! Very gentle slightly feminine-leaning nutty vanilla. Reminds me of a little of Diptyque Eau Duelle EDT. Cute packaging and arrives with samples for LP01, 02, 03, 04. Thanks Cal.

This is so good. A 9.5/10, it smells sweet, rich, and has this addictive smell to it (I think its the red bean). Slightly masculine to me. This rocks.

Just got my bottle yesterday and... wow. 11/10, I’ve never smelled anything like this. I sprayed my coat yesterday and it still smells strong today.

I blind-bought this thanks to the hype. It was only available for pre-order, and took an eternity to ship, like two months. When I finally received it I wasn't really blown away. The packaging and bottle are beautiful, but the scent reminded me of another fragrance I already own, which is Coreterno's Mystic Sugar. Another comparable scent would be Fugazzi's Angel Dust. It's not listed, but I definitely get a rice note in the opening, which is pleasant, but again reminded me of other rice scents. It's a shame that no samples are offered on the website. Now Luckyscent carries Le Persona, and I would highly recommend sampling first. If I had sampled this before buying into the hype I probably would not have bought a full bottle. I like it, but it's not a love.

Whispering Kiss by Le Persona is honestly the unique scent I’ve been looking for recently. I’ve been hunting for something different for ages, and this is finally it. It opens with a warm burst of cardamom, then that red bean paste creeps in with this nutty, almost edible vibe that’s comforting. As it settles, the cognac and blonde tobacco get smooth and slightly boozy, and the vanilla softens everything into this cosy, creamy cloud. Performance is moderate. I think there is enough sillage to be noticed, but not loud or overwhelming. Getting it as a gift from a great friend made it even sweeter. Solid 8/10.

So I was intrigued after the hype and have just received it after waiting a few months. To me, it smells like a slightly gourmandy YSL Blue Electrique. The red bean paste note is very forward at the beginning, easing back after 20 mins, leaving a slightly hazelnutty cardamon which is pretty classically masculine. If you can try it, do. But it's not the absolute w**k fest that influencers make it out to be. 8/10.

A muted sweet and starchy fragrance with mild spices. The red bean paste is an alternative to clean rice fragrances, so if you enjoy those, you will appreciate this. There’s a demure freshness in there that pushes this just ever so slightly into masculine territory, but still very unisex. I like it, it’s almost cozy in a way. If you want a sweeter gourmand-ish version, try Rakugan from J Scent!

This is more masculine leaning. I can see why people think that it is unisex because it has a sweetness to it, but this missed the mark for me. The woodsy notes are giving it that sharpness at the nose that chokes you. I get a lot of the tobacco, almost leathery scent to it. This is nice for a man, beats Dior Sauvage at least. However, this definitely is not for a feminine scent lover, in my opinion. There wasn't any place to sample this prior to blind buying. I bought this from a female influencer named PerfumeSiren and I am not liking her recommendations especially with this not being returnable.

I’m not sold on this one. It feels like a diluted, less masculine take on a classic woody-spicy DNA, largely due to that red bean accord. The sweetness teeters on cloying, and the aggressive influencer push makes the whole thing feel a bit forced. Honestly, if you want this vibe done right, stick with La Nuit de l’Homme or the Le Male line

Ok, I just want to preface this by saying I am a nobody and fragrance is subjective.... I secured a sample because of the hype and I am disappointed. This is mid at best. There is nothing special or nothing I haven’t smelled before. Unfortunately this is forgettable IMO.

Total blind-buy disaster. Whispering Kiss, voted Best Perfume of 2025 by Cal Cologne, and I trusted that recommendation. It reminds me of a generic men’s perfume from the 90s that everyone in my city seemed to wear. I can’t recall the exact one, but it feels very common and far from niche. There is nothing original or distinctive here, no uniqueness, no character. And yes, it is unmistakably a men’s fragrance, there is nothing feminine about it at all. I genuinely cannot understand why Cal voted for this. Seriously disappointing. I will be unfollowing every perfume opinion leader who agreed with that choice. I also own LP03 Wooden Face by Le Persona, which I find much nicer, though not very long-lasting and quite subtle on my skin. This may be related to skin pH, and it reinforces a basic rule: we should not rely on perfume recommendations unless we test fragrances on our own skin. This has been my principle since I was a teenager, and I honestly can’t believe I made such a basic mistake. So disappointed.

Please don’t just trust the word of a fragrance influencer like I did. This is so mid. Also this smells nothing like stronger with you intensely it’s just has that same kind of vibe. The only thing unique about this is the red bean note. But that disappears within 30 minutes and the fragrance only lasts about 4 hours tops and doesn’t project well at all. I sprayed it 12 times and asked coworkers if they could smell Me. They literally had to be 8 inches (yes I measured) in front of me to even get a faint smell of this. I’d probably pay as much as i would for stronger with you intensely from a discounter, but definitely not the price I paid. Take it as a lesson from me to not just take an influencers word for “favorite fragrance of 2025”. This is not even close to deserving of that title. It’s okay at best 3/10 for being unique and that’s being generous 7/10 for scent because it is a nice scent, the scent has just been done before.

I picked up a decant of this because perfumesiren on TikTok said she loved it. Sadly, for me, the patchouli and perhaps the sage is overpowering. Not a hippie headshop patchouli but a dry, herbal, aromatic patchouli that obscures many of the other notes. I feel like if there weren’t a patchouli note in here, I’d love this. I can smell the delicate, alluring cloud of powdery yet slightly boozy vanilla amber underneath and I get the vision, but I just wish those notes were turned up and the patchouli turned down or removed. Take this with a grain of salt though because I feel like I’m practically a super-smeller of patchouli, if such a thing exists. Most of the time it’s in a fragrance it totally overwhelms my nose and obscures the other notes.

This literally smells like every typical men’s cologne. I don’t understand how social media has influenced all these women to say that they love this and would wear it. Yes, you smell a little bit of bean paste but it genuinely smells like every other f*** boy cologne. There is nothing ground breaking about it. Don’t buy into the hype. Whispering Kiss is Axe body spray/deodorant perfume.

Just got this from a recommendation from scent takes on tiktok; who got the rec from cal. this scent reminds me of azarro the moist wanted and stronger with you intensely mixed. i like both of those just fine, but this is a really good scent. definitely not an offensive scnet

I'm super sensitive to the synthetic amberwood accord - unfortunately, it's in this. I'm no aromachemical wizard, but it's something vaguely in the direction of Amber Xtreme (similar to the base in BornToStandout fragrances)

own this fragrance and personally not for me. lasts 3 hours on skin, way too heavy on the cardamom, smells like a budget version of amouage outlands to me

Just got my bottle - I bought because of cal and I wanted to try something new - it’s hard to describe smell overall is unique and I enjoyed smelling it over and over but had trouble describing it. I definitely think the cardamom will make you nose blind to it. It’s got a freshness to it but yet it’s earthy/spicy/dry - I almost described it as like candle wax with like a faint cherry. I am making this review with 1 spray before bed - I will update after I give it a full day wear.

I’d say more masculine than feminine, I agree with someone below that it’s reminiscent of one of Armani stronger with you intensely , but a lighter take on it . There is something in the opening that is present in a lot of Middle Eastern scents even tho this isn’t from there , but from the notes above I can’t attribute it to them ,,, something of an incense / oud quality but opens quite bright / fresh despite this . Not bad , just nothing particularly new

No chance i’m paying $140 on the word of an influencer who literally gets paid to promote fragrances and brands, but I hope the fragrance does turn out to be ok for those who’ve splashed the cash.

Come on guys, the ratings and reviews for this perfume are from the last few hours, all probably because of Cal's review. Apparently none of the raters here have smelled this perfume yet and are just trying to give Cal a bad name. Now, I'm not saying Cal is definitely right, I'm just trying to apply common sense in the context of everything that's going on here.

People, stop reviewing and giving a bad rating to something you haven’t smell. Obviously you’re just trying to troll cal. Please respect the people visiting this page who are truly are passionate about fragrances, whom at the same time take these ratings super seriously. While it is a nice, pleasant and attention grabbing fragrance, for a certain influencer to claim that he’s never smelled anything like It before and it’s easily his best of 2025 is immature and hasty at best. Disappointed in his conviction when it smells a lot like some very popular commercial fragrances. Namely SWYI.

After listening to Cal talk about this fragrance I immediately ordered it straight from South Korea. I just received my bottle today and Cal was spot on about this fragrance. I can’t wait to wear it tomorrow.

It is a good fragrance overall but I would have probably not purchase it at $145 like I did. We just trust Cal a lot :)
