Ciel, Mon Jardin!

I have a bottle of this and I LOVE it! It so unusual and soft but perfect for summer. Why do they discontinue something so beautiful. Unisex and long lasting. This is nothing like anything you have smelled before. The patchouli is almost a summer patchouli with sweet floral and green notes mixed in. I’m going to search for this again and maybe try something else from this house. Wish me luck!!! 10/10

Oh yes, I love this!! It's really superb! Lovely sweet subtle vanilla, and excellent rhubarb and patchouli! Terrific! Very interesting perfume. Refreshing really. Very pleasant, quite rich and fulfilling too, in a gentle, fresh way. Very lovely. Elegant and timeless.

I'm not a fan of strong vanilla, but this is fine. The vanilla is there but not overwhelming. Nor is it outrageously sweet. If anything, it's a bit on the simple side, but some people prefer that presentation. When wearing it, I think that it's pleasant, but I keep thinking, shouldn't there be more to it? The major "problem" for me seems to be that if I think of wearing this fragrance I soon think of something that has more of a "wow factor" and want to wear that one instead. It does smell rich and natural, though, so it beats out scents such as Apparation Intense, for example.

I was eager to try this, but unfortunately, it let me down. I got the bergamot, the greenery and the rhubarb -so far so good- but in about 5 minutes all I could smell was the vanilla, heavy and cloying. Perhaps it was just a case of bad chemistry between us, because the list of ingredients does sound rather promising. I hope others have more luck.
