14 Isla Coco

I looove this one so much! This is absolutely the perfect summer fragrance IMO. I am not someone who loves sunscreen summer scents, so this is right up my alley. To my nose this is how it smells: Opening: upon first spray you get that calamansi note right away. To me it smells like a blood orange and a grapefruit combined. Middle: after about 5 minutes I still get the calamansi but the tea and fig start to come out. So kinda like a citrus tea almost. Dry down: citrus tea with coconut milk. For me personally, I get zero Jasmine and the fig is way in the background. I also don’t smell any ylang ylang at all. Longevity and silllage is moderate. This is Ledda’s best fragrance so far. I love it. 9/10 fragrance!

I'll premise with the fact that even though I'm a very pale woman who shuns the sun, I love all things tropical and coconutty. I knew after reading reviews that this was an atypical tropical scent. I had also never tried calamansi, so I wasn't sure what to expect. This is a love. It smells more mature, elegant, and elevated - maybe a nighttime tropical fragrance? I'd like to try Ledda's Orris next.

I love this! I got the travel but already want to size up! The note balance and blending is the key to this beautiful fragrance! The coconut milk, citrus, tea, and Ylang Ylang are equal standouts. I can smell the coconut all the way through but it’s not too much. Not sun screen-y at all. Bright, a little sweet, uplifting, and calming. It’s super pretty! Just makes me feel happy!!🍊🥥🍵☀️

The opening is an intense citrus blast! Give it some time however because as the citrus dies down the coconut and tea really shine! Fresh and Green with a sprinkle of sweet. No sunscreen scent detected at all. Winner!

Wow I luv this😍 it’s so refreshing and tropical, but not anything like any other tropical scents I’ve smelt. Definitely would wear this on holiday in the sun!

Ugh, I really wanted to love this. It smells so delicate and balanced on paper. I didn’t even mind that the coconut wasn’t the most prominent note, even though that’s the reason why I went ahead and got the sample, but on my skin the citrus notes dominate fragrance. I’m glad, though, that the calamansi is there because I’m Filipino and Ledda is totally representing. I’ve never seen that note in a fragrance before. You get the muskiness from the coconut, but it’s more in the background. Overall vibe: smells like candles and a near identical version of Skylar Coconut Cove.

This opening smells like you're at a cocktail bar at an upscale resort and the bartender is peeling citrus rinds to put into your coconut cream drink. The smell of tropical yellow and white waxy flowers wafts in the breeze and the tea give off a chill and relaxed vibe. This is not a "sunscreen" scent whatsoever, but the tropical flowers are there, thankfully they don't overpower the juicy vibe. This is defintely a fragrance to take on a warm vacation, and I'll be doing just that. I get about 4-5 hours and the scent bubble is about arms length.

Screechy opening, airy, elegant dry down with notes too well blended to distinguish. It's a bit sugary and unspecific for me, I would have liked for the tea and fig notes to stand out, as I really like them, but I could hardly distinguish anything except clean musks and a bit of coconut. The thing a liked about it is that despite being in theory a "summery" holiday scent, it feels more like a wintery one to me.

Primarily a jasmine fragrance, tamped down with citrus and creamy coconut--tiare flower gives it a tropical vibe. I don't perceive black tea or fig, but there's enough coconut here to make me happy. It's pretty--reminds me of Guerlain Terracotta and a host of other jasmine/coconut/tiare flower frags, so there's nothing really unique here, but I do like the strong coconut presence on my skin.

Beautiful, airy, sweet, citrus and coconut beach vibe. Not too cloying, not overly heavy, yes floral but definitely citrus foward - maybe don't go too liberal with the spraying because a little goes a long way and it is potent! Great price point, pretty safe blind buy tbh, provided you are not expecting sunscreen.. this is not one of those.

This is a gorgeous summer scent. It hits all the right spots if you are looking for something beachy and warm weather coded. It’s not too citrusy, not too green and not too coconut it’s a well balanced mix of all those notes and none dominates the other. It gives similar vibes to bronze goddess to me although not exactly the same

Really nice shampoo type scent. Feels like something from Ouai collection. Lemon is pretty strong at first but it dries down nicely to citrus and white florals. I get a hint of coconut but it’s not that strong. Surprisingly lasts long, really excited to keep wearing this

Bright citrus in the opening, smooth florals in the mid, soft, comforting dry down. I would say this is a beautiful bedtime scent or right out of the shower scent. Super easy for a summer day. It’s kind of Zen. Worth a sample at least.

Lovely bright scent, bursting with citrus but don’t get much fig. Moderate projection and wear time which is fair for a fragrance of this genre. Great price but not sure if I want a full bottle

Really wanted this to be more coconut. Its not bad; it's a juicy, fruity floral with a touch of a tea note.

Just ok, nothing super special. This could be any other coconut fragrance. Not my favorite from the line.

14 Isla Coco opens with a bright and juicy calamansi note. If you haven't smelled calamansi before, the scent is similar to mandarin oranges. I can smell a tiny hint of coconut in the background, but the calamansi is what dominates the opening. It's so juicy and makes me think of a tropical fruity cocktail - yum! The calamansi sticks around through the mid, but as the scent develops the florals appear and they take over the fragrance. The florals get stronger and stronger as the scent dries down and unfortunately starts to give me a headache. Overall, I enjoy 14 Isla Coco, but I prefer the opening and the mid. The dry down is too heavy on the florals and smells "perfume-y". The name is misleading and suggests that the coconut note would be prominent, but it's not. I think most people who are expecting a coconut dominant scent will be disappointed because this is definitely a tropical floral. 14 Isla Coco would be better if the coconut and tea notes were stronger and the florals were softened. I don't mind the florals, but they are just way too strong and overpowering here. Note: If you like the tropical citrusy fruitiness of 14 Isla Coco, then I would recommend trying Mancera Sicily. To me, it smells like sweet citrus fruit juice like Isla Coco, but without the strong florals.

If the aggressive aroma chemicals like amberwoods or any of the combos that increase longevity and throw bother your nose (sneezing, burning or smells like bad breath or just wrong to you) test before buying. Iso E super isn't truly aggressive until it's used in nuclear proportions and it's here. Blind buys can get dicey with this brand. Actually a lot of brands. You'll know when you get such disparate views in the "remind me of" section. This is not a dis on this brand, this is a know your own nose and buy accordingly review.

This just isn't for me - in my opinion, it smells a bit generic, kind of shampoo like. Very strongly floral and quite sharp, this actually makes me feel a little nauseous when I wear it. The association that I have with this fragrance is the scented bubbles that we used to play with as children and that just isn't something that I'd want to wear.

Yeah, I wanted coco and I got too much island, by that I mean LOUD floral and just about zero pina colada on this holiday.

Oh yes! This is like sitting in a sunny garden, sipping a fancy citrusy tea, with a cute coconut macaron on your teacup. What’s not to love! There’s a slightly shampoo-y vibe. Hot weather and chill lazy day appropriate. Sounds weird but it gives me the same relaxed but very energised feeling I get after doing gentle yoga. This has seriously made me want to investigate more tea scents. Not the strongest lasting power on me, so I went and massively oversprayed which was a mistake because it gave me a little headache. Definitely second favourite from Ledda after 16 Scenic Rose (which for some reason isn’t on fragrantica database... but it should be it’s stunning and possibly even my new signature!).

I don’t like sunscreen-like frags but looking at the notes and listening to how Stephanie described it, I really thought that this would be a different take on a summer fragance - and I was right! This is really good and super slept on. I have gone through two bottles of Oris 22 and I can see myself finishing this one off soon, too. This isn’t a sunscreen scent, the fig is there - but it doesn’t smell like Fig Infusion or Burberry Brit so please don’t go by those comparisons. This takes me to a boujee spa at a resort somewhere tropical. It’s bright, yet calming, fun yet sophisticated and the notes are well-balanced. I’m such a fan of this house, I love the new Velvet Ganache as well.

To my nose this is a citrus forward woody fresh scent. There is a floral aspect but to my nose it’s not prominent. I would say it’s in the Wood Sage Sea Salt fragrance family. Also reminds me of the Rare Find Comfort body care line. It’s blended beautifully and comes across cool/cold which gives it a fresh crispness. It sweetens in the dry down and I start to pick up the tea note. I don’t smell coconut and it doesn’t come across as a traditional beach scent. It’s not a sunscreen vibe at all. Longevity is okay with 3 sprays I get 4ish hours before it becomes a skin scent.

Just left reviews of the other 2 Ledda scents since I got the discovery set. Can honestly say I love all 3?? This is veryyy citrus heavy in the beginning. As a Filipina, I am loving the calamansi note! I get the florals and in the dry down a milky coconut & tea but the citruses are still there. Truly reminds me of being on the beach at the four seasons with a cocktail that doesn’t exist yet but needs to. Yummy & fresh yet elegant.

Love love love. Very bright citrus. It really reminds me of something but I'm not 100% sure what it is. I'm thinking maybe devotion. Tiny bit of coconut but NOT a Pina colada or sunscreen scent, just a whiff of that in the background.

Wearing this again in the dead of winter. My bottle has aged a bit & wow the black tea & coconut are really coming through on the dry down. It is so comforting like a tropical spa. I feel this one is underrated from the brand

I tend to dislike heavy coconut scents so I was nervous to try this in the sample set. However, its more of a sharp citrus on my skin leaning towards lemon pledge. Not for me.

Reminds me of Nizuc resort in Cancun - it has a spa hotel lobby vibe
