Figolo

I couldn't smell any leather. but it is a great patchouli.. there are many popular patchouli in my collection, this was one of my favourites. smells great. sillage is not very strong, but we are in the winter months. I have to test some more. 8/10

An upscale, more refined and just slightly modernized, niche quality version of the old fabulous classic Polo Green! I have them both and if I had to choose just one, it would be Figolo due to it's immense quality.

Smokey leather... Now this is amusing! a journey through the leather wild! i get smoke, tobacco, leather, musk, doses of patchouli and then some hints of mint, aldehyde, ylang, and some cedar! This blend is amusingly masculine with it's heavy leathery touch that made it amusingly alluring! it's like a harsh fashionable leather horse saddle. Beautifully blended.

Blind buy fail. Here’s what happened. Last week I suddenly noticed that a colleague smelled incredibly good. It was a very particular scent: a faint smokiness mixed with something like Speick soap—the kind of cool, slightly soapy smell with a watery minty freshness. So of course I immediately asked what they were wearing. The answer was Figolo by Lengling. I went straight home and ordered it. Yesterday it arrived, I sprayed it once... and what happened? On my skin it turned into leather and bitter patchouli, like an old smoky tobacco-leather smell. And the mint? Honestly I could only detect a tiny trace if I really tried, and it disappeared almost immediately. So for now it’s going back on the shelf. I’ll probably try it again in winter.

A rich aroma of liquorice and fruitcake is the first to hit my nostrils. Then I notice the fresher spearmint aspect, but it remains a dark and complex fragrance. There is some resonance with Speick, a classic German soap, and perhaps with its English cousin, Imperial Leather. But mainly it takes after Polo for men. This is usually considered a mossy fragrance, though it has a rather stinky aspect when worn, in my opinion. Not one of my especial favourites, but could be improved by more spearmint.

Figolo, by Lengling, smells like leather, patchouli, tobacco, mint toothpaste, pine tree, gin, pine needles, wet ground from the forest and forest mushrooms. The scent is both heavy and fresh, leather and aromatics.
