Leonard

Leonard is a very good surprise. It's a sweet floral, lightly sugary, very delicate and feminine. Close to Quelques Notes d'Amour - Yves Rocher. It was love at 1st pschitt ! Correct lasting power and lovely bottle.

I am not surprised some Fragranticans think this and CL Eau Florale have similiraties ; Although I have never had the opportunity to sample the CL fragrance, I can see tuberose is rated as its most prominent note, and what struck me from the very beginning with Leonard, is that it would probably appeal to tuberose lovers. Why ? Well, because it has this warm,creamy and slightly tropical edge that a lot of tuberose scents have. This sweet and subtle exotic vibe is likely to be the result of the apricot blossom combining with the frangipani and vanilla. A woman with sunkissed skin wearing a white dress and a white flower in her hair is the image I have in my mind every time I get whiffs of this very feminine composition which IMO would be the perfect choice for an elegant summer evening.

Je rejoins la critique précédente : le flacon est beau, classe, le parfum assez distingué également mais dommage qu’il soit si discret, il est vraiment très (trop) léger. Il faut en mettre beaucoup pour le sentir et il ne tient pas longtemps. Mais sinon c’est un assez joli floral gentiment poivré, assez sage et plutôt agréable. Féminin sans en faire trop, finalement assez doux. Convient parfaitement à celle qui voudra être féminine tout en restant classique.

A lovely fruity scent, very late-spring-summery.

This is definitely very French, a total departure from the sweet scents that have inundated the market, but this is Leonard, a house that stands on its solid reputation of quality perfumes, not interested really in following trends. This is floral, a classy stylish one, I detect the Ylang Ylang, it is followed closely by a sweet note, maybe the apricot blossom, it is smooth, like not a screechy floral, I can hardly detect the pink pepper , the scent has a certain density , it isn't a light bright scent, more a strong deep scent. Only for lovers of classic perfumes. As for me it isn't my style , so I gave it away.
