3 Rosa

A gorgeous peppery woody creamy skin musk which reminds me a lot of a simpler, softer, warmer and more natural Fleur de Peau from Diptyque (only I prefer 3 Rosa). The rose here is very sheer. To me the ambrette, wood, and amber-white type musk are more central. This scent smells modern and not particularly sweet. It's more of a enticing skin scent a la Glossier You. A "your skin but better" scent. Not stuffy or overly floral. Intimate... PS- If you are in the U.S. and you want to buy L'erbolario products, they are now officially here! This one took by by surprise, thanks to a swap with Cynicalwish. I am coming to realize how much I appreciate coriander in fragrances...... so this is a dry, woody, peppery and spicy rose. Apart from the notes listed I can clearly sniff out the coriander and some kind of cedar or wood shavings. The fragrance becomes better the more generously you spray. (When I first tested I sprayed a tiny amount on my wrist and sniffed it very closely but this didn't do the scent justice.) Tonight I am layering with a Body Shop Moroccan Rose Dry Oil and some AL Rehab Mokhalat al Oud attar oil. I love the combination of 3 Rosa with oud. It's very classy and expensive smelling actually.

The most beautiful, silky, a bit powdery rose! I am not a rose lover but this perfume I will have! Love it!

This fragrance makes for a really nice fresh skin scent. The opening is quite heavy on the pink pepper, which i personally love, and the dry down is very soft, musky but still fresh and floral. I usually don't love rose fragrances but this is a very light watery rose note, great for layering with other scents in spring and summer. Edit: This developed a paprika scent after a while for me, I will not rebuy because of this. Maybe it was always present and it's just a weird association my brain made but it smells like powdered paprika you'd find in the spice cupboard.

I'm wearing a sample right now and I'm falling in love with it. Maybe it wouldn't be enough for a more refined nose, but it's very simple, clean and relaxing. I think it's a great option to wear to work because it's definitely not offensive. 'm going to buy it today!! I still smell the resemblance with Omnia Amethyste (not in the body cream that I've also tried), it's less powdery to my nose though. As in O.A., the rose it's not opulent or too floral, it smells more like rose water. It's a skin scent but perfectly detectable if you come closer.

A peppery softly herbal musky rose supported by herbs and other florals. I really get hollyhocks in here as well. We had them on the farm where I grew up. They have a very distinct smell. Pollen and herbal like. In fact all of the perfumes I tried from this brand smell a tad herbal. This fragrance is very musky. Would be very versatile. But if you hate pink pepper stay away. It is strong throughout the fragrance. The muskiness of this fragrance is addictive. Herbarium. Com has excellent service. Great place to buy this brand in the USA.

So pretty. It's very simple: airy, soapy rose and sparkling, joyful pink pepper. The rose - as expected - has not much staying power but the pink pepper lasts for a good while. Personally I really like soapy rose scents: they're fresh and youthful, perfect for Summer and refreshing yourself on the go. And pink pepper is probably one of my all-time favorite notes. This is a perfect scent to carry around in your purse. Not very expensive, with average lasting power and sillage.

Surprisingly, all of L'Erbolario fragrances are so strong,sometimes even heavy, and here - rose is barely felt. And I agree that smells more like rosewater, as Cynicalwish wrote in her review. Smells even a bit like a gentle baby care. This is not an old-fashioned rose, I didn't detect any geranium, nor pink pepper. Unusually mild, but still pleasant to me.

Like Maelleinrome said, it's very clean, proper and soft. It's not an opulent rose, it's rather a timid blossom. I don't associate it with Frangipane by TdO, but I find its drydown really similar to Omnia Amethyste on my skin. It would be perfect for spring or office wear. The notes are wrong though: it's not Geranium but Malvarosa (Hollyhock)

very very nice fragrance, doesnt smell like roses much nevertheless is very pleasant, it was three of us girls testing it and on each it smelled different, we all liked it, a veil, light and modest, the longevity is very very poore however

Very soft, feminine and delicate. It smells romantic and relaxing, like handmade soap. It smells young too but not juvenile. It’s not powdery or overly fresh or sweet, it’s just a smooth rose, inoffensive and innocent but well done.

This perfume had me in a chokehold all of Italy, and I finally caved and bought it. Very soft and pretty and girly, works very well in the hot days. Need to overspray or pair with a nice lotion if you want it to last.

I love it.. It doesn't smell roses.. but it's amazing.. it's really really similar to Omnia Amethyste by Bvlgari in my opinion... Really similar.. maybe just more light.. love.

Aries7605/08/19 2.36pm Perfume that won me over at the first spray! I really like the fresh floral, pink spring scents, a little sweet if you like but in this composition I find it perfect like this, in my opinion spring is its season, very suitable for both informal and non-informal occasions, I feel it fresh sweet spicy with that hint of spiciness at the right point, I love perfumes made a little more interesting by spicy notes such as pepper or pink pepper, in the end it refers to a slightly more powdery scent if we want but enough so as not to bother those who don't like perfumes overly powdery scents indeed, for me it is pure femininity!

I have three fragrances of L'Erbolario so far. Legni Fruttati- which I love. Jade - that I found very appealling, and this - 3 Rosa - of which I cannot think other than... "very old". I love roses in scents and I do fancy Italian ones. Rose from Bottega Verde is among my favourites. But 3 Rosa... this one is just too vintage for me. And I was so hopeful reading here of it's resemblance to Amethyste Omnia. Nope, those two are nothing alike in my opinion. Amethyste light like a fresh cloud, 3 Rosa quite heavy on my skin. But hey! Having said that I can still imagine it might suit others, so give it a try yourself!

I bought this fragrance since its first release in 2011. I really liked this perfume. If, we think that a rose perfume is demode 'or belongs to a certain type of age, with this fragrance we will be pleasantly surprised. In fact, we don't have a classic rose perfume but a saucy, peppery and very sparkling version. On my skin the pink pepper is well present as the spicy part given by the coriander and the aquatic notes is present. Sometimes I combine it in layering with scents that are in the wake of marine brackish. Aquasalis by Erbario Toscano to give an example: worn together I find them simply divine!

Nothing special...a very clean, floral and rosey fragrance. You have to try it in spring, or any time you are looking for a simple and delicate fragrance! Someone told it's similar to Essence by Narciso Rodriguez; I found it rather similar to Frangipane by Tesori d'oriente, which is similar to Ysatis by Givenchy :)

For some strange reason I was expecting a more ROSY smell. Even though there are those floral scents, what I detected the most was: PINK PEPPER! It was surprisingly peppery, too much for my taste.

I 'm not able to write my own opinion about it: i do not smell it! I get some samples and used them but I still can't undertand this fragrance!

I bought this as a blind buy on Amazon. Wow; disappointing! All I smell is pepper! I wouldn't call this a rose fragrance at all.

I don't think it smells of rose. I find it very sweet not floral at all. I'm not particularly amazed by this fragrance.
