ACCORDO ARANCIO deserves your attention. It's adorable and to me it just smells like happiness. I love the way it opens up bursting with the mixture of bitter orange, creamy mandarin and cedar. Second later, the inviting vanilla kicks in and it makes your skin smell creamy and orange yummy in a cosy sort of way. AA it's very refreshing in warm weather and it stays just as good even in the heat and I will be more than happy to wrap up in it during winter holidays. Gorgeous and versatile sparkling zesty fragrance. PS: I agree that it smells like the Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo - Arancia di Capri Acqua di Parma - BUT BETTER! for it is more creamy more feminine and livelier.

@sere On Erbolario website the perfume notes are mandarin, orange, plum and vanilla! Mandarin, orange and alchechengi are the extracts present in the whole bath and body care line. Apart from that, Accordo Arancio is a beautiful blend, much more complex than I've expected, not only citrusy, but also sweet and a bit spicy. I've got it as home fragrance.

Herbal-ambery juicy orange. Happy Summer scent. Easy to wear and love. Moderate sillage and low longevity but hey, Acqua di Parma last just as little for a much higher price tag.

Lovely scent, warm and conforming.

I sort of resonate with what some others have said and disagree at other points. AA begins with a bright, slightly subdued opening. You can sort of get the picture upon the initial spray that this isn’t like a traditional citrus, summer fragrance. And, some have noted this is perhaps better worn in fall or spring, and I think that’s probably the case. Normally, ylang-ylang stands out to me above a lot of other notes, but not here. The plum and petitgrain start to make an early appearance. I think the rather herby mix is also why some think this is a more mature scent than most citruses. I do notice this in other scents, but I found this to be quite wearable and don’t think it’s overly suited to someone older.. After a bit of time, the plum, and herbs really consume the majority of this fragrance when the citrus takes a back seat. I can still smell orange for quite awhile, mostly on my skin rather than paper. The citrus fades away with time and what is left is a bit of a warmer ‘feel’ - the plum and petitgrain. The rest of AA continues this warmness with the amber and a sweet vanilla. I enjoyed wearing this and would recommend.

To me this is a succulent, warm juicy mandarin. Plus, it has the sweetness of candied orange peel. I wouldn't call it really citrus fresh, as it leans very warm... and as others have correctly pointed out, i see it very apt for the fall season. Never overpowering, as all Erbolario offerings, this frag is more of a body scent or a cologne. The staying power is low and the sillage very modest. But you apply it for enjoying the moment, you apply it for yourself. The body line is stellar, and worth the purchase for layering.

Bitter. Tart. Zero sugar on me. Not gourmand — I’m not picking up many notes listed here. I like it. Not an every day reach or a “regular” perfume for me. More of a pick-me-up/spruce up after work (or a workout or hot day) scent. Pleasant, and will get used, but I could see this lacking mass appeal with its astringent zestiness. Wonder if layering with other products from the line might soften it.

I bought this fragrance in a local drugstore.I will be very clear and blatant, this fragrance quite frankly smells like a bougie air freshener. The orange note is too dominant, and very chemical smelling. I am usually a fan of citrus in my perfume, but this is quite a lot. The longevity is also not the best. Overall a nice fragrance for a budget

Very interesting. Delightful mandarin scent, warm and comforting, doesn't smell as cheap as it really is. Seems to be a good winter scent, I think I'll buy a few Christmas gifts from this line. Too bad it's supposed to be a limited edition.

This is nice. A very natural orange, a bit more masculine than unisex, in my opinion. Not groundbreaking but pleasant. Simple but well done, not overly sweet. Good for day and night. Summer and Winter.

Tried it today! Very interesting and not so summery as I was expecting. It would be delightful for this fall season. L'Erbolario never fails :-)

This one is a trash. It was standing on my cabinet but no, it is not going to work. A trash, it is what it is. Do not ever buy Lerbolario fragrances without trying them first - most of them smell cheapish, most of them do not have any longevity, so do not even try them. Skip, skip, skip

I bought this one withour trying it on and as soon as I went home and tried it I regreted it. It's the kind fo scent that smells nice at first and then gives you a headache. It also reminds me also of much older women that wear this type of scents back home in Spain..

L'Erbolario has many lovely fragrances, but this one is a huge disappointment. I smell almost nothing, only some dry orange peel which disappears really fast.

Reminds me of how my grandmother smelled..

This is everything else, but NOT orange and mandarin! The smell is cheap, old lady like, not fresh, not citrusy... If I don't know the notes in it I could vote for old rose cologne or something like that. Such a shame...

Accordo Arancio is a bit linear and one-dimensional to me-it sort of falls more in the category of room sprays and diffuser scents than anything wearable. It starts off scratchy and the orange is very sweet-almost artificial; like powdered orange kool-aid crystals, but then is quickly rounded by the plumy sweetness and in that moment I can almost detect a nutty muskiness-such as almond. It's nice, but I can't get past the artifice of it. The herbal quality kicks in and carry’s it well, but it’s still too ‘Body Shop room spray-from-the-nineties’ to me. Though I’m not one to wear polite scents or want to please the crowd-I still wouldn’t wear this and expect to be taken seriously or not turn a head for the wrong reasons, which sounds harsh. It’s is a pleasant scent, but more suited for the powder room...

Usually just the mention of orange is enough to keep me from trying a fragrance, but this is delightful. It ́s a fresh, balanced fragrance that neither goes to become sharply citrusy nor sweetly lavish like the base notes. I like it a lot, and it surprised me because there are very few orange scents/essential oils that I like, and cheap orange smells give me an headache. Sadly it ́s not the best with my chemistry. I borrow (cough! - steal - cough!) it from my mom, and while it works just perfect on her skin on me there is something that goes rancid. It ́s not too noticeable, but I can tell and it prevents me from using it too much.

Sorry, but no. I LOVE citrus fragrances, and I'm a fan of L'Erbolario, but this is a pass.... I've received this fragrance in the form of a reed diffuser. At first, it seemed nice, but five minutes later it started to smell sweetish with a touch of dish soap (mind you, I even love the kind of citrus which lots of people dismiss as "cleaner smell"). To make it short, this gave me a headache. I was expecting to love it. What a shame.

Start with a sweet citrus to finish with a perfect mix of flowers and citrus. Stabilizes with notes that smell like versace vanitas. I like so much. Inizia con un soave agrumato per terminare con un mix perfetto di fiori e agrumi. Si stabilizza con le note di Versace Vanitas. Mi piace tanto.

I tried this one from a sample, and I was evil-minded...I was expecting something flat, dull, not memorable. I was wrong. This fragrance is pleasant and lively...I can feel lots of Mandarin and sweet vanilla...I think it's perfect fort Christmas and for cold, darck days...

On the web site of l Erbolario products the notes are different: mandarin, orange, and alkekengi. There s no trace of plum or vanilla. I think it s a bit more bitter, good both for men and for wemen. Hope this information will be useful.

I have tried it, expecting something marvellous because I love orange...but I was disappointed: for me it smells of cheap Colonia for old man mixed to some kind of dish cleanser...bleah!

So, basically, if you like smelling as a fancy soap infused with bitter orange and mandarin essential oils — this is the one for you!
