Altea Profumo (Marsh Mallow Perfume)

I didn't want to believe Altea was a dupe of Delina because I'm on a crazy completist mission to own everything L'erbolario makes and I already own Delina and Delina Exclusif, so I had to buy this without trying it first because there was no way to test it and it hasn't been released yet in the US. Now that I have it, I can confirm that it IS a Delina dupe and a very nice one at that, but since I already have several Delinas, I don't really need any dupes. I love the fact that L'erbolario tests all its fragrances for impurities and that they are 100% made in Italy, so it's not a complete loss. For those who haven't tried Delina, Altea is a very sweet-tart modern rose with some lychee like fresh/sour notes and a very clean, slightly powdery, woody musky base. A feminine, pretty and strong scent, a little reminscent of Chloe EDP. PS- If you are in the U.S. and you want to buy L'erbolario products, they are now officially here! A good alternative to delina. A bit less tart in the opening compared to delina. Fresh and sweet, very nice.

Interesting fragrance. It immediately surprised me, as i had never smelled a sour perfume. Maybe tart is a better word. It is tart, citrus forward, but the floral notes are prominent too. i smell next to no vanilla whatsoever, there is some musk but it is very much in the background. I have never smelled the famous Delina, which this is supposed to be a dupe of, but this is definitely a unique offering not just regarding L'Erbolario, but most mainstream brands too. Both projection and lasting power are moderate, in line with most perfumes from this brand. It is very bright, sparkly, not powdery, a bit sweet but very tart. Absolutely perfect for summer, and very feminine.

Usually not super fond of girly floral perfumes but found this one to be surprisingly neat, upon reading the notes it seems pretty unassuming and basic but the combination of the musk and the very green top notes make it fairly unique. The musk gives it some nice depth and is surprisingly strong but it is also super green and with the rosey floral notes it becomes reminiscent of scented geranium or just in general pelargonium leaves. A slightly quirky and inoffensive scent.

Never smelled Delina, but this one's quite unusual (in a positive way), but easy to wear at the same time. Strangely I found it more beautiful and ethereal during winter time, but it's very suitable for warmer weather as well. I can smell that unique sourness from the bottle, but once it settles on the skin, it's really pretty and harmonious and not basic rose/musk at all.

It’s a sweet but a little bit sour scent. Yes it’s similar to Delina Exclusif Parfums de Marly, but I think it smells lighter than Delina. I find Delina too strong that I eventually gave it to my mom. The moment when I prayed Altea, it remind of right away of See by Chloe Si Belle!

Fresh floral and just perfect for summer and spring. The althaea note is delicate and lively at the same time with the sweet orange mixed in this.

No sé cuál es el dupe de cuál, pero esto definitivamente huele igual a Delina de Marly. Según mi percepcióny estoy convencida de ello, es que huele a dulce de guayaba. Luego algo floral borgoña y no me refiero a rosas, sino otrs flores aromaticas que evocan ese color debido a su intensidad y néctar. Y a algo maderoso, quizas alguna raíz o haba tonka. Es lindo si, pero quizas no lo hubiera comprado para mí estilo de perfumes. Es muy femenino e intenso y según una amiga, tiene demasiado ruibarbo.

It's the perfect dupe for both Delina and Burberry Her. I personally prefer Altea for several reasons: I discovered it first, it was a gift from my son, and I love its drydown more. I absolutely adore it, and I even have the matching body cream, which I use after my shower. Altea vs. Delina: they share fruity-floral top notes but Altea offers a more subtle and softer opening, whereas Delina starts with a sharper, tangy rhubarb and lychee. You prefer Altea for its smoother, more understated drydown, making it more comfortable and wearable compared to Delina’s richer, more intense floral and vanilla base. Altea vs. Burberry Her: while both have fruity elements, Altea offers a lighter, more refined opening compared to Burberry Her's sweet and berry-heavy start. Altea’s drydown is smoother and more floral, which you prefer, while Burberry Her remains sweet and gourmand with vanilla and woody notes. Overall, Altea feels more balanced and sophisticated, making it more versatile and appealing for different occasions.

This fragrance smells much brighter in the bottle than it does on my skin. My skin tends to amp powder and doesn't typically hold onto citrus for long and I think this is why. On me, the over all impression is lightly sweet and lightly powdery with an herbal smelling floral note. It doesn't go into dusty or baby powder territory thankfully, there's something keeping it lighter and more fresh than that. Most likely the citrus that I can't smell on my skin. The way this smells when I wear it reminds me of the way dried flowers or woven baskets smell when they're warmed by the sun. That is the top note on me. The other notes I mentioned are in there too though rounding it out in a beautiful, natural smelling way. I really like this and I think I'll grow to like it even more over time. It's comforting.
