Cedro di Calabria (Calabrian Citron)

I guess citron has similar but not the same smell as lemon as this is citrusy but not overly lemony. And vanilla is also prominent. Fresh but also slightly creamy and not too sweet. It is definitely not sour. Like an elegant citron popsicle/gelato with a hint of vanilla bean. Natural smelling as most of Lerbolario perfumes do. And quite lovely.

This is a delicious and simple fragrance, it smells of bright "cedro" fruit with a sweet, very light vanilla undertone. It is refreshing and mouthwatering like thick lemon sorbet or lemon "granita". Sublime for a warm day🍋🍦💛

I was a bit disappointed with this one. I liked the idea of a white cotton tee and this on a sunny July morning but all L’erborario scents have this detergent smell quality which comes at the tail of the fragrance. Somehow I got used to it, so I enjoy this one, but overall it’s not what I expected from this frag. Also, the detergent note in all the other perfumes of this brand is just awful and I can’t stand it.

I love the shower gel with the fresh and uncompromisingly citrusy scent, so the perfume was a blind buy. Yes, it's fresh and the citron is the main note, but the vanilla adds too much sweetness for my taste. The perfume makes me smell like a sweet lemon cake. This isn't too bad, but not what I expected.

A nice perfume, of course as almost every L'Erbolario's fragrances it doesn't have longevity, yet the bottle makes it very easy to carry it around and reapply it. The bergamot opening is very bright, then it switches to a vanilline drydown quite soon. All in all, it's worth the price. Definitely a summery scent, that's for sure.

I loved their shower gel of this series, so I got perfume as well, and unfortunately, it's not as citrusy as the shower gel. It smells like a lemon hard candy.

Stron citrus with a little bit of vanilla. Similarly to verbena, it reminds me toilet freshener, but this time it's a little more for human use. I like citrusy fragrances, but the ones from L'Erbolario are just not my cup of tea.

Sono entrata ad erbolario per acquistare la fragranza al fico e sono uscita con lui! Molto carino! Tra l'altro in quel momento indossavo Devotion D&G e devo dire che come layering non è malaccio.. Chiaro parliamo di due profumi con strutture diverse, però se vi piace Devotion siamo sulle stesse vibe ma più estive. La durata è scarsa ma è davvero carino! Ai primi spruzzi è molto agrumato, rinvigorente poi si trasforma in una fragranza più dolce e vanigliata ma non stucchevole, è leggero, lo trovo ottimo per l'estate.

A straight forward perfume of strong lemon over a base of vanilla-sweetness so rich it makes me think of cake batter. It's present yet quite gentle compared to the dominant lemon, but might really make this a very likeable citrus summer scent especially for gourmand lovers. Something very fluffy, cookie-like wafts around me in the dry-down, and each time I wore it I only used a small drop on my hand, so to me it's quite intense for a citrus scent.

Your perfect, inexpensive, great smelling travel friend for the beach season. 4711 mixed with a gentle vanilla lotion and a hint of pepper. What else would you need with that linen shirt, shorts, sandals, sun-kissed skin, heading out for a fresh seafood diner under the palm trees by the water. For me 10/10.

To me this smells like a lemon dessert or candies, sprinkled with vanilla sugar. It's quite sweet and I was expecting a fresher lemon, it still works well in summer but only of you like sweeter scents. Unfortunately lasting power and projection is not great, I don't mind it for summer scents though.
