Foglie di Tè

I discover this brand while looking around Macau. I was invited to enter the shop through whif of perfume scent from the outside. I got curious, I was about to buy one of their floral fragrance best seller until I tested this perfume. It was fresh at the initial spray but boy the dry down is sooo good. I immediately fell inlove with the tea scent. It's like sipping an iced oolong tea in the summer afternoon while roaming around town while also getting a whif of blooming flowers around. I definitely loved it. Projection is moderate since I only spray it 3x, 1 on skin 2x on clothes. Also the scent lasted about 4-6 hours in a hot and humid summer tropical weather. Will be testing this on rainy season soon. Also I layered it with Acqua di Parma Mirto di Panarea. It sooo aromatic and fresh and also makes Mirto last a tad bit more since it's not great with longevity.

This is actually my first review on here because I love this perfume, and my experience with it is very different from what the votes and other reviewers seemed to have. I am a tea scent lover, but I find that most fragrances go very astringent on me very quickly and lose all depth—this one doesn't. It feels extremely warm, sweet, and comforting. Hours go by and I still smell like a freshly brewed cup of black tea and honey (even with no sweet notes on paper). I don't see the resemblance to Elizabeth Arden Green Tea, which is one of my most worn fragrances too, nor do I think it's a summer-only scent; I love it in the cold. I also think it's lovely to layer with other tea scents to really build their longevity and photorealism—at least on my skin, it works.

If you’re looking for a non-sweet nor citric summer cologne make sure you give Foglie di Te a try! Tea Leaves is all about the aromatic notes of tea and mate. This perfume does have bitter undertones but to me it’s not that astringent, so I guess women and men can pull it off equally. The performance is that of a cologne, but when paired with the shower gel and the body lotion it does create that perfect relaxing aura I need in hot humid weather. Last but not least, I would like to quote the caption on the packaging which sums up the essence of the composition: “A glorious Perfume, which warms the heart and brings refreshing thoughts: just like a tasty cup of tea.”

I was happy to discover that L’Erbolario added its own offering to the Green Tea trope. This is a light and refreshing fragrance, ideal for the summer. Aside from the eponymous tea leaves, it contains notes of mint, lemony verbena and mate. It is quite similar to Elizabeth Arden Green Tea and Yves Rocher The Verte, only a bit more tart and aromatic. It is not meant to be strong and long lasting; it should be used in the heat (when strong scents become unbearable), or in the office, or wherever you need to smell fresh and presentable.

I am completely in love with this fragrance but it has no staying power. It's so heartbreaking because this has the potential of being a signature scent for me, it's light, fresh, cozy, I think I don't get that much tea but it's such a refreshing smell!! It almost gives me clean laundry vibes and it's lovely overall. For the price I don't mind respraying it, but it's basically gone after a few hours which is upsetting because I want to smell this all day. A perfect but short lasting perfume for me

Love this cheapie I bought in Bologna one year ago. I was already familiar with their Meharees, which is the dupe of Musc Ravageur. This one is so refreshing not in citrusy way but aromatic. The tea is like a rounded version of EA’s Green Tea, a more easy going sister of Bvlgari’s Parfumee The Vert. Longevity and projection is amazing for a freshie here in hot humid Jakarta weather. 4-5 hours on tshirt. Will buy more once I have another chance to go to Italy again.

I love it, in the beginning it's similar to Green Tea and White Tea by Elizabeth Arden (kinda like a mix of both). After few hours it transforms into a very clean, a bit powdery body lotion scent, which is not listed in the note pyramid, but that's what I can smell

Now this is a great and unique tea fragrance. It’s very suave, fresh but not citrusy, uplifting, embraces you in a sweet hug. Lovely.

I discovered this amazing Italian brand while on vacation in Italy and bought several bottles. They are great cheapies. As an Asian, I always have a soft spot for tea perfumes, so this bottle immediately caught my attention when I entered the store. When I read the notes, I expected it to have the bitter fresh scent of tea; it turned out to be quite different from my expectation. The opening is fresh, uplifting and a bit sweet. I find the citrusy scent more obvious than tea scent. It smells more like lemon ice tea to me. I also get a hint of lavender in the drydown. In general it is a very pleasant, fresh and clean perfume, perfect for summer. The sillage is not very strong, and it does not last very long on my skin.

I've had experience with many perfumes from this brand and they're all simple yet satisfying smells. This one is insanely aromatic on me, does not feel suitable for summer as much as the cooler months and I don't get the citrus that other people smell at all. It's a heavy duty spicy tea scent reminiscent of how incense feels, not smells. I like to use it in Autumn.

Nice tea perfume. Compared to Tè e Cedro by L'Erbolario this is less citrusy, more sharp (not too much), it is more tea-focused, even though it still is far from a photorealistic interpretation of real oolong tea, in my opinion. It is pretty herbal, almost aromatic, and smells more like "generic" tea. Still, it is a good perfume and has good projection. Unisex.

Sweet lemon tea in a perfume. It is fresh, uplifting, pleasant, with some sweetness and so summery! Great for a burst of focus during work/studies or for a walk on the beach. Nice solid bottle. Cannot detect mint and mate notes, while verbena and tea leaves are dominant. Longevity is limited but is a delight to have around. 3/5

This is one of the best tea fragrances that I have ever owned. It's very fresh, suitable for hot and cold weather. Very inoffensive, unisex, fresh and calming. Personally it reminds me of summer.

Bought this during my summer holidays in Italy and it is perfect for refreshing on a hot day. Clean, crisp, green citrus scent that is uplifting. Doesn't last long but does its job.

Very lemony, a little bit dusty at the same time being creamy (as a hand cream). Reminds me of the vibe of Agua de Bambú

Not much to this- it’s a very fresh, green tea scent. I plan on using it for after the shower.

I am disappointed. It does not smell like tea. It smells like a generic body wash, fresh, green and generally pleasant, but I have to admit I'm tired of it after having worn it for only two weeks. It stays close to the body and wears off very quickly. It has no depth whatsoever. For all of these reasons, I think it's overpriced. Two weeks on after my first review, it did grow on me. I started layering it with Naked Oak Moss 501 by A'ddict, which makes the tea notes more noticable and gives it the depth that was missing. With a bit of bitterness in the background, I can appreciate more the citrusy freshness of the verbena. (I still think it's overpriced, though).

Foglie di Tè bought me after its name "Tea Leaves" and the beautiful deep brilliant blue bottle. It is as refreshing as a sweet iced lemon tea in a sunny and hot Italian afternoon, while the green notes I detect bring me under my Tuscan veranda. I adore Eclat de Vert by Aerin and this one is a perfect, way cheaper, dupe. Summer 2021 never felt that sparkly.

Simple, but very nice. In my opinion, more masculine than unisex. It’s fresh, herbal and sensual. The Mate 🧉 note is the strongest on my skin. As a brazilian, this is a plus for this scent. Apart from this, this fragrance smells very natural. Thumbs up!

Very pleasant and uplifting. I mostly smell black tea, verbena and honey with a little bit of lavender soap in the background. I also love to use the shower gel if I need to boost my mood ( body lotion smells differently).
