Frangipani

I'm not sure why but the first few minutes of application kind of smell like sweat to me. It's really sharp. But after around 30 minutes to 1 hour, it starts to smell really lovely!! I'm not sure how long it lasts on skin, but on clothes it's extremely long-lasting (over 24 hours!)! I agree with some other reviewers, the dry down is very vanillary! It's very sweet, warm and girly. I would say it's a very light, playful, youthful and uncomplicated scent as opposed to something that's more sexy, heavy, sophisticated and complex - which for me is definitely a positive :)

There's probably something illegal in this perfume because I cannot stop inhaling this directly into my lungs. I've tried Libre Intense and while they are similar, this one I sweeter albeit having the same depth as Libre. I adore the frangipani note and I'm quite sure there's Ylang Ylang in there somewhere. This perfume is just so rich, warm and seductive. At this point Ylang plus sweet citrus note combo just feels like it's a trap laid out to catch me. I absolutely adore this. Now excuse me as I go back to straight up snorting this.

I love this parfume so much. First spray is like a warm hug, and the drydown is beautiful, I get a really warm and beautiful vanilla. I bought this parfume with a friend on a trip to Rome, so we had girlfriends perfumes - I feel it smells different on me than her. Maybe it was the 30+ degree that gave it a more fuller and flamboyant smell on her, and on me home in Copenhagen with 20 degree, much more settle. This reminds so much of libre, maybe more girly.

My best find of 2025! Love it!🧡💛 Reminds me a lot of Libre Intense but strangely though similar, I don't like libre much, but this one I do a lot. More feminine, gentle, elegant, not that mainstream. Plus way more affordable. Day after day of wearing it I love it more.

Smells very similar to libre intense. A warm, versatile scent that works beautifully year-round and suits any occasion.

To me it smells like the gingerbread Jo Malone Xmas special, lovely.

Frangipani is my second most favourite tropical flower, right behind ylang ylang. I was really excited to see how L’Erbolario has done a fragrance around this gorgeous exotic flower but I wasn’t impressed. Don’t get me wrong, it smells nice but it lacks substance. It’s very light and airy. I wanted something more intense and beefy. If I wouldn’t have better at home, maybe I would have fallen for this. But I already have better scents where frangipani note is spectacularly done. And side note, as far as I can recollect, because I don’t own YSL Libre, Frangipani by L’Erbolario definitely does not smells like Libre! I dislike that fragrance, this one is ok. This is similar to a Narciso Rodriguez older release called Narciso EDP Ambree, in a square, muted orange bottle!

It evolves quite a bit over time. Although there’s no vanilla listed for this, the latter part does smell vanillary - mildly sweet and warm. The colour of the bottle reflects the nature of the scent well, in my mind. It is somewhat similar to Libre Intense. I’m glad about the absence of coconut, because I tried frangipani in combination with coconut and was disappointed. But this one is the kind of frangipani I’m after.

Such a lovely, creamy, flowery scent! It is perfect for summer. It reminds me of vacations - warm, sunny, and relaxing. The notes are nicely blended, and it’s not too strong or cloying, just soft and pleasant. I was worried it might be too sweet, but it has a nice balance. Definitely happy with this one! :))

This doesn't smell like Libre at all! It is a strong frangipani-based scent. Creamy, smooth yellow floral. The only thing missing is the coconut - with it it would become the typical creamy tropical scent. Very pretty, would be great for layering!

The worst L'Erbolario fragrance I’ve tried (and I’ve tried about 90% of their production from the last ten years). A sugary, slightly cloying floral where no note really stands out—frangipani included. It also gives the impression of being quite synthetic. Honestly, it feels like a big step backward compared to many well-made and high-quality things L’Erbolario has released in recent years. One to skip.

It smells like love. They say Frangipani is a simple scent. Not complex. To me, it smells like love and a warm embrace in the sun. When love is real and done right, when you show your partner all your layers without secrets or unpleasant surprises, that’s exactly how it should be: gentle, real, and with all the cards on the table. A beautiful version of the frangipani flower. Vanilla is not listed in the notes but I feel it. Lasts up to 8 hours on the skin before becoming a soft skinscent.

This is a rich honeyed ambery floral. I own Libre le parfum and Frangipani is very similar, just not as dense. If I'm honest I prefer Frangipani. It's softer and more wearable. But to be clear this is still a very rich, potent fragrance best suited for cooler weather. The name is a bit misleading as this is far from a soliflore. This is a complex and refined fragrance. If you're considering to get Libre, try this first before spending a fortune.

Creamy florals, a bit tropical and quite bold. Less sweet than Libre Intense but still a tad bit too strong for hot weather to be considered a beach safe scent, maybe more suitable for a warm evening, but an all year round scent for sure. I wouldn't say it has extreme sillage but people have told me I do leave a trail behind me even though after an hour I can't smell it anymore. On clothes it lasts the whole day.

This is a beautiful, flowery, strong fragrance for women. For the first time I have smelled the frangipani flower during my trip to the island of Nissiros in Greece and then on Kos. I just love this smell. Very beautiful and long lasting.

I love this fragrance!! Gentle, feminine, warm, comforting, and fresh at the same time!! I think it has a wonderful floral- woody combination For the last two years, I wear it every day (morning time), at all seasons!!

It smells almost identical to Libre Intense. Decent sillage and longevity.
