Notte a Tangeri

Fresh but spicy start, warm and aromatic without being cloying. My sister got it for Christmas and we all fell in love. It's both exotic, but felt festive for the occasion. As I'm not a fan of amber I could have just ignored it, but since she sprayed it on, the entire night was enveloped in this beautiful, spicy, aromatic scent that resembles Masala tea.The middle is a bit powdery from heliotrope and it's a constantly entwined with amber. It just feels well made, I think Lerbolario has this constant quality that I love. I bought it immediately. Edit: I wear it most of the days since I acquired more then a couple of perfumes during holidays. It's a fresh take on amber making it more wearable and less cloying. Citrus and spices disappeared after an hour or two and although I would wish this was more linear, as the beginning is more appealing, I don't mind warm, amber base.

Got this lovely bottle (within a lovely box!) as a gift a few days ago from one my best friends. This has very quickly become my favorite go-to night time scent. I apply it generously before getting into bed and I'm left with nothing but a serene, peaceful tranquility that envelops me like a warm summer evening after the sun has set and you can feel the heat and the smell of summer dissipating in the air and into the coming of the night. A creamy, powdery, warm scent. Absolutely lovely. LE almost 2 months later: Just sprayed myself with this getting ready for bed and I realized what I love most is exactly the angelica and vanilla combo I love in Guerlain's Angelique Noire. Something about this feels addictive to me. Plus the added citrusy tangerine note which I've always loved... Definitely one of the most soothing and calming scents I've ever smelt.

This is pure magic to my senses. I got a travel set with a shower gel, scented body cream and solid perfume. It starts off as a mouthwatering blend of tangerine and bergamot and as it settles, it becomes more deep and ambery. I imagine wearing it on a hot summer night. It's a great value for the price. This is not your usual trendy scent. It is for true fragrance enthusiasts with good taste. It takes you places, makes you daydream and transports you to a different place and time. L'Erbolario never dissapoints.

First spray is you basically dousing yourself in tangerines (for me this is a postive) then it settles into a more balanced and calm skin scent. The bottle design is gorgeous. A freshie through and through. Unisex and office friendly. My French friend commented that to her this scent seems very elegant and rich clean girl vibe. I find it hard to think of a person this fragrance could seem offensive to. My only complaint as with most L'erbolario scents is that in 2 hours it dissapears.

Architects Club by Archiste is woodier and this is powdery in the dry down, but they're in the same orange-angelica-vanilla-amber family and they compliment each other beautifully. In colder weather I layer with a heartier vanilla like Rifaaquat or a rich amber. Any season, any time of day. Totally office safe. Very fresh. Close. Light. Pretty.

This one is wonderful: both softly citrusy and ambery-warm. The name and packaging convey the scent perfectly: a balmy summer night in Morocco infused with aromas of citrus trees in bloom. I bought the perfumed oil initially and then the perfume as I craved the scent in a stronger form. Yes, it smells similar to Roma.

I changed by rating from ok to like. This scent needs a little time to settle. At the first spray all i could smell are tangerine or oranges, it was way to forward. After some time the scent evolved into something beautifull. You can still smell the tangerine, but more in a blended way. It reminds me of the spa/wellness center i work at, in a good way lol. It transformed in a very clean, spa scent. Don't be scared of the initial spray, give it some time!

A warm vanilla-amber scent, with a refreshing overtone of tangerine and bergamot to keep it from becoming overwhelmingly sweet and generic. Subtle hints of cardamom. Very nice for those cold, rainy winter days in which you need a mood boost. But I can see it working on Summer evenings too.

Although it's a citrusy scent, it's not the freshness of the morning or a summer day, but rather the subdued atmosphere of the night after a warm day. The citrusy, sparkling scent has been muted. It's close to the skin and fleeting.

Another dupe from this house, this time it’s Ambra Calabria’s turn 😃 I personally don’t like it so much because even though the first minutes are great, then it fades into an ambery powdery thing that it’s not my cup of tea. Anyway, try it. it’s cheap and you might like it.

I personally do not like this perfume. It is cloying, doesn't smell at all of tangerine, instead it is really powdery and not in a good way. Not fresh at all and, to me, more suited for winter, since its very heavy. Disappointed.

i was just in an erbolario store trying out some fragrances and this was really and incredibly offensive to my nose. i absolutely hate it. like it's a solid eugh.

I have tried this perfume thanks to samples but, take my opinions with a grain of salt as L'Erbolario perfume samples are not sprayers nor dabbers, but they come in a small bag similar to the ones used for skincare samples. I have tried such samples before and the experience can be quite different from the one you would have with a sprayer, both in terms of projection and smell. It opens very citrusy but in a masculine way, reminding me of men's aftershave. Then it evolves into a scent reminiscing the inside of an Italian pharmacy (funny I say that, considering that almost all pharmacies in Italy carry L'Erbolario products!). I say Italian pharmacy, as there is a distinct smell when you enter a pharmacy in Italy that I don't sense in pharmacies in the UK (where I currently live). Maybe people from other European countries can still understand what I mean. It's a sort of herbal smell that I personally find medicinal, more because I associate this with medicines than because it's a medicinal smell strictly speaking (if that makes any sense). I believe this is probably due to the angelica, which is an herb that was used for medicinal purposes in the past (?). I don't think it's a bad smell per se' - but I think that many Italians like me can relate to not wanting to smell like the inside of a pharmacy. Thankfully this phase is short lived and the fragrance warms up, becoming less masculine and less medicinal, but more oriental as the concept suggests. All in all, not my favourite scent from this House (which I am a big fan of), but a pleasant, totally unisex scent in its final evolution.

Non lo acquisto solo perché è una fragranza autunnale /invernale e ora è estate, ma mi è piaciuto davvero molto, perciò andrà nella mia wish list per Il prossimo autunno.

Very beautiful mix of elixir des merveilles and shalimar. Lovely for the price!

I‘ve only tried the body lotion and it reminds me of Shalimar.
