Peonie

L'adoro, l'ho provato varie volte nelle erboristerie e negozi monomarca e devo dire che la sua fragranza così romantica e femminile mi ha conquistata...ora è nella mia lista dei desideri! :-)

Is like a blooming garden full of flowers in a sunny day. It's in my wish list. Feminine and floral.

Mmmm. I have this in a solid perfume, and I went from "hm, nice, unusual, interesting, hmmm... but probably not really for me," upon first trying it, to wearing it every day, many days in a row, happily sniffing my wrists every few minutes. For me this is (nicely) powdery, lightly spicy and old fashioned -- not in a passé way, but in a vintage way. It makes me think of exploring a rambling old Victorian house, its windows and doors flung open to a wildly overgrown flower garden, discovering wonderful things in ancient chests, leafing through beautiful old storybooks, sniffing from nearly-empty precious glass flagons of scent, trying on gowns of antique lace, curling up in a window seat with a pleasantly drowsy cat, a cup of Earl Grey, and some tiny cucumber tea sandwiches while listening to the bees droning in the garden. It's brightly floral, slightly peppery (for me, a bit like the slightly peppery taste of arugula), sweet, a bit talc-y, and definitely the sort of scent that's extremely evocative/storytelling. Also, a fragrance you could wear with a big hat. :)

A true floral fragrance, it's incredibly long-lasting on the skin with a wide aura, the most beautiful peony I know, except perhaps Pleasures that I love (although I have not tried Pleasures Baie Rose Peony Splash by Estee Lauder). A bit powdery, but only slightly, so it will not bother those who do not prefer powdery fragrances, yet so innocent and strong at the same time. Slightly spicy and warm on a floral way, reminded me of Hot Couture with its strength. One spritz is enough and lasts for half a day. All L'Erbolario fragrances are high quality and affordable.

Edit, this perfume is very powdery, actually all Erbolario perfumes share this common trade. I must say I am not a fan, Too powdery and not much of a peony scent, ressembles the iris line and also a little bit Teint de neige by Villoressi. Seems more like an iris composition to me. Not a fan.

Peonie is a sweet and powdery floral, very nice! I don't smell the spices here, but I smell sugar and delicate white flowers. It stays with you all day long, it's so feminine! Love it!

If you are looking for a simple fresh peony/rose spring scent, this might surprise you as quite the opposite. L'erbolario Peony is a powdery woody floral fragrance which plays a lot more on the vanillic spicy iris, than peony. Certainly there is a bit of peony in there, but the perfume is rather woody, sweet and powdery and not fresh floral. Weird enough there is a bit of Lola in there. Peonie is not a soliflore by any means. It is not bad by itself, but don't be fooled by the simple name, because it offers something completely different from a peony scent. Personally, not down my alley.

On me is only spices,especially indian nutmeg,caraway and peper.Very warm and oriental,nothing flowery about it,maybe only little bit dark red roze,but peony -0%.I love it ,i cant wait to buy it

I just bought my Mom this amazing parfum. I love the smell, however my Mom was just okay with it. The top notes were a little strong but it gets more subtle after a while. Divine!

A nice, elegent and fresh floral fragrance...nothing surprising, but very pleasant! And I agree...it's long lasting!

This one smells like Cerruti 1881, beautiful, feminine and delicate. So suitable for Summer days. Love it!
