Pistacchio

This perfume was such a discovery for me! Looking at the simple, almost silly green bottle, I wasn't able to guess what a gorgeous, refined fragrance I'd be getting into. On first spray, I'm hit with a nice, robust but not-over-the-top whiff of pistachio, followed by a delicious sweet scent which I later discovered to be caramel. As the pistachio slowly evaporates, I'm left with the caramel and a little something else that I can't really put my finger on, but which takes the caramel down just enough for it to not be overbearingly saccharine. I assume that would be the salt note in the base. A coworker of mine commented that the perfume reminds her of Sol De Janeiro Cheirosa '62, but with less vanilla and a perfume-y note that 62 doesn't have. I couldn't really smell the peach or coconut or blackcurrant per se, but maybe they're the 'perfume-y notes' my coworker spoke of. And speaking of coworkers, this perfume is a huge hit at my office. Whenever I wear it, my coworkers would always comment on how wonderful I smell that day. "Oh, it's the pistachio perfume," I'd reply. Everyone at the office tried the 'pistacchio perfume' when I first got it and fell instantly in love. For better or for worse, it's become the most-complimented scent in my perfume rotation. Having worn it for a while, I can confidently say that, at least on my skin, it outperforms most of my pricier designer perfumes. I can smell it on myself all day - and in full composition, no less. (for comparison, my beloved Lancome Miracle will barely be present just a few hours into putting it on) And if you're looking for yet another reason to love this number, the price is a steal. Where I'm from, a 50ml bottle retails for around 37€. Keep in mind that this is a perfume, not an EDT or EDP. All in all, it's an understated, elegant, well-balanced gourmand perfume that I'm absolutely obsessed with even though I'm not usually a fan of gourmands. New fave!

Discovered on a street in Ticino I walked in and was absolutely in love with the creamy pistachio scent but as time went on it evolved into this lovely sweet caramel that I became truly obsessed with. Originally I hadn't set out to buy any perfume at that shop so I actually had to return later to purchase a bottle because I was so mesmerized by it. The scent is very strong and long wearing on my skin and often the clothes that I wear with this perfume will start to smell of it strongly in between washes, especially on outer wear such as jumpers. This had been my daily wear from summer into early fall. It wears well in the summer afternoon lounging in the leftover warm air and subtle cool breeze, as well as in, the crisp daytime of fall where its cold enough to grab a sweet warm drink but not cool enough to ice you. As winter came I switched to another perfume I had, but I feel like if you enjoy sugary sweet scents like vanilla during winter you would enjoy this scent. Although this is marketed as a women's perfume its one of my favourite scents as a man, but I've always been partial to women's fragrances. So if you're a man searching for this, feel confident that you're not the only one;)

I don't know you guys.... I love this but sometimes something about it makes me gag.... and I can never tell what triggers that gag reflex or when it'll suddenly strike, so I'm honestly a bit on edge when I wear this but i do it anyway because like 90% of the time I'm in love with it!! (I have my suspicions that it may be the coconut water that I can't really detect but may be there lingering in the background - I often have issues with the coconut note)! The black current really stands out in the opening along with the peach blossom, but as it dries down I would say it's primarily pistachio and caramel - it's rare for the pistachio note to be so pronounced and so long lasting in a fragrance, so that's where it really shines and stands out! It's sweet, but not overly so. To me it's very soapy. I know some people hate soapy fragrances, I personally don't, so to me it's a good thing lol. It's like a nice shower gel or maybe shampoo even. Even though caramel scents are sometimes weird in warmer weather, I would say because of the soapiness it's fine to wear all year round!

This is so so yummy! The black currant is really prominent to me - even though I see in the reviews that it's non-existent to someone else :) First I get the pistachio, then very strong black current, and finally coconut water and caramel. On clothes the long lasting scents are pistachio and caramel - very sweet but not overly so in my opinion. It's cute and young - not sexy and complex. It's a delicate, soft fragrance that isn't loud and in your face and it's not overtly so "perfumey" which is perfect for me (by that I mean the reaction from others may be something like "oh, she smells cute and yummy" and not "wow her perfume smells great"), although I can understand how this could be a problem for many perfume wearers. One negative: it doesn't come in a box. I understand that the bottle isn't transparent so you don't need to worry about the perfume being altered/spoiled by light. But then the bottle gets so easily scratched by almost anything and it's really annoying to have bits of the bottle coating/paint chipped off.

Pistacchio by L’Erbolario is an underrated gem from probably the most underrated Italian brand. I swear that every time I try something from L’Erbolario I can’t stop wondering how do they make such amazing perfumes for such a low price. Pistacchio is a sweet, caramelised pistachio scent with creamy coconut milk, rich blackcurrant syrup and peach blossom. It’s a nuanced pistachio scent and it’s perfect for fall. Feels very warm, comforting and delicious. It’s mostly a gourmand scent at the end of the day, and a well executed one! Most likely I am getting a 50 ml bottle before leaving Italy. Update 10.10.2024: sampled this again and I simply love it. It smells so rich, sweet caramel mixed with pistachios and some vague flowers. A full size bottle costs 27 euros! It’s not very long lasting or big projector but at least it is really reasonably priced! I had to get a bottle...

I saw the commercial and headed right to my local shop selling Erbolario to get my hands on a bottle of these! After the first sniff instant love, so the small 15 ml bottle came home with me. The opening is such a dream: a rich, creamy pistachio gelato, absolutely fabulous. Unfortunately this phase does not last long, a bit of sourness (must be the cassis) joins and after 30 min it turnes into a milky, warm skin scent. It does not have a great sillage nor does it last long, but it is such a great feelgood scent. It is similar with Olio d'Argan after the first ten minutes (pistachio instead of hazelnut) It comes in a dark green glass bottle, without the cute paper box :( I will probably buy the whole bottle of this.

It doesn't smell what you would expect from the packaging considering its green colour resembling pistachio, it's more of a brown beige edible desert which is so tasty. I love gourmand fragrances and this is really unique even among them. Including the brand and its natural ingredients without colourings this is a must try fragrance. Despite it being gourmand and strong i can see it work even in the summer heat, such a contradicting nature and a beautiful scent for all seasons and occasions to smell edible. I think im going to buy an extra just in case when i run out of it. Perfect. Actually its so good i dont want other people knowing about it, to anyone reading, dont promote this treasure.

This is incredible! A sister/cousin of SDJ 62 but worlds better. It has more dimension and the sweetness is less heavy, it’s a much more creamy and airy sweetness. Smells slightly more grown but still youthful, I want to say the coconut water is the saving grace. The pistachio stands out so much! You can’t miss it or mistake it for another note, it’s green and smells just like pistachio ice cream. Surprisingly not much like Kayali Yum Pistachio, the pistachio note itself seems similar but the fragrance as a whole leans closer to SDJ 62. My scent bubble this morning is gorgeous. Highly recommend for a sweet, playful fragrance.

Yes! This is exactly what I hoped it would be. I wanted a pistachio perfume that was very gourmand, nutty, creamy and sweet. Not soapy or cool like some other popular ones. You will probably only know this if you live in Spain but as weird as it sounds my benchmark was the viral Mercadona pistachio cream body spray. This layers amazingly with that but it's more long lasting. Has quite a nice projection as well imo. Downside is only that the bottle is very cheap looking, but I'll take it for the price.

A beautiful pistachio note appears, enriched with a creamy touch of vanilla and a small pinch of salt that adds extra charm. The whole composition has the realistic character typical of L’erbolario, capturing the true aroma of a fresh pistachio nut with remarkable clarity. If only the sillage and longevity were stronger, I would be completely delighted, as it would come very close to being an ideal fragrance for me.

As a guy, I like it. By far my favourite L'Erbolario fragrance. I can smell the pistachio and caramel, but there's also something more to it. It's very realistic, but I do not mind for some reason, it's not off-putting. It's a compliment getter which I cannot say about other perfumes of this brand I used. It's sweet and somehow fresh which makes me think it would be ok to wear it all year.

This is delicious, creamy, salty caramel with pistachio, with a hint of almond, coconut and vanilla. Nothing else to say, that's literally what it smells like. If you like those kind of creamy scents then you'll LOVE this one. It's definitely more feminine than unisex, but I'm a guy and I've been wearing it for about two weeks and only got compliments. Definitely a great summer scent!

For me L'Erbolario Pistacchio is Cheirosa '62 body mist done better, with an italian finesse. It's way more nutty and nuanced at the opening, with the pistachio note being really prominent. It dries down nicely and sweet afterwards. On my skin it lasts several hours. Definitely a perfume for people that love pistachio and very sweet nutty gourmands.

Spot on dupe for cheriosa 62, might I even say that it smells even more of pistachio ice cream (there was this turkish pistachio ice cream I used to eat when I was a kid and it smelled just like this). Longevity is okay-ish could be better, projection too. Love the boottle and it's worth the price.

If you wanna smell like sweetest dessert in good way this is it! Not complex perfume..simple..sweet not sure how long does it last as this is my first usage. There is something comforthing..nostalgic(chidlhood memories) in this perfume. Hovewer, bought it for 24euros and it is worht every cent.

Absolutely beautiful photorealistic pistacchio ice cream ball scent. Leans more feminine but a man could pull this off. Cheap but not synthetic with a beautiful mass appealing opening with decent performance.

Mmm this is gorg! SDJ 62’s clean and fluffy cousin, not cloying or syrupy. Very creamy but still fresh, has a nice cold gelato quality. Not beast mode or anything but you get really good value in the bottle.

What a gem that outperforms many of the pther pistacchio dominant and trendy perfumes. L’erbolario did a great one, gourmand but not overly or sickly sweet, great staying powder, nutty and delicious. Bravo

Smells divine, i immediately got the caramel and coconut water, yummy. Would love it even more if it lasted longer, for me the performance is a bit weak, but for this price i really cant complain

It's a comforting scent, like a warm hug. If you love fragrances similar to Sol de Janeiro's Cheirosa '62 but are looking for something more refined, less "adolescent" and with much greater persistence, this is an excellent choice.

I’m testing this right now and I’ve got some simple considerations. The scent opens up with a strong waft of pistachio ice cream, which dies catastrophically within minutes in favor of smelling *exactly* like Vidal’s almond body wash. It mostly just smells of vanilla with a very faint hint of warm coconut water and an even fainter salty tang. No black currant whatsoever, though there’s definitely a floral bit to the profile as it dries down after the first 30min. If you expect it to smell like a bag of salted pistachios you’re going to be disappointed. This is a sugar bomb primarily aimed at a feminine audience that smells mostly of almond/vanilla body wash and a little like bum bum cream. The extracts are almost entirely naturals to my nose and that’s backed by Erbolario’s persistent efforts to grow as much of their ingredients in house as possible. Men, don’t blind buy unless you have other fragrances that smell of cake, fairies and rainbows.

This is really cute, it's a straightforward pistachio smell with a very green feel to it. I really don't get any caramel from this, but I think the caramel note might be enhancing the pistachio smell itself and making it more delicious. I feel like the black currant and coconut water make this more green than edible as it dries down, but this really is a very cute scent for daily wear and affordable too. I don't think it's anything like Cheirosa '62 in the sense that this is pure pistachio whereas '62 has a more complete "sunscreen" scent profile to it and the pistachio is very far in the background. I have the Tommy G Pistachio & Salted Caramel body mist that pairs wonderfully with this, so I layer them together for work. I recommend this if you love the smell of pistachio ice cream (this isn't lactonic at all however).

It's very yummy. I bought a 10 ml bottle. When I first sprayed I smiled involuntarily. I smiled. Like in reminiscence; this perfume unearthed something decades old. This perfume doesn't last long. I will relish and spray those 10 milliliters but I don't think I will buy a full bottle. In drydown it's a delicious vanilla but is this enough? My perfume drawer is finite. Edit: Just found something out. Just sprayed Britney Spears 'Prerogative'. Oh my god. That is EXACTLY 'Pistacchio L'Erbolario'. To the T, minus the pistacchio note in the beginning. At first I couldn't believe it. So weird. Don't know what to say.

This is pretty amazing stuff. The pistachio is front-and-centre, and super delicious. It's exactly what I wish Kayali's Yum Pistachio Gelato was. I get the resemblance to Cheirosa 62 but I think Pistacchio is a far a more elevated experience as a perfume. It also has tremendous performance. My bottle leaked a little in transit so the whole thing is giving off it's delightful scent. On skin and clothes, it has lasting power. For the price, it's a great buy and so far the best gourmand pistachio I've smelt, and I've been chasing a lot of pistachios.

If Yum is the gelato, then this is the thick, buttery pistachio cake, covered by fondant or marzipan :) there is a little chemical bitterness for a few minutes after spraying, but it will dry down to a relatively light, not overly sweet gourmand. Nuttier, slightly heavier and less sweet than Cheirosa '62, but not cloying - unless you overspray. Sillage and projection are moderate on me. Not a safe blind buy though because of the marzipan-leaning nuttiness that may turn bitter-ish on some, but they sell 10ml travel spray as well, which is nice.

This has the same dna and vibe as Sol de Janeiro 62, but actually, this is better. I'll be honest, neither this nor 62 are my thing. I guess I am not a pistachio/almond/nuts perfume person. However let me tell you, this is pretty good. While very similar and in the same vein as 62, this smells a lot less synthetic, more creamy, more rounded, kinda icecreamy, more "real" and tangible. More like actual food. I wish the caramel were stronger to my nose. Still, an interesting fragrance to have.

its pure caramelized sweet pistachio paste if you will. It its bit of a cheap/synthetic scent, but I really like it. I bought one for me and my bestie when visiting Italy in the summer so it means something to me lol sorry bout it!

i think i bought it for this crazy good packaging. also the scent has it’s perks even in it’s commonalities. maybe that’s what i like about it. it’s definitely very warm and cozy, almost exclusively autumn in my book.

As a huge pistachio fan, let me tell you - this is a caramel fragrance with a hint of pistachio. It lasts not more than half an hour. I've tried to layer it on a pistachio body cream but it sadly didn't help.

This is great! It’s really sweet but not sickening, the pistacchio smells really natural and has a touch of salt. There is also something green and smooth. It’s fresh and joyful. Perfect for summer!

A dupe for Cheirosa 62 with a better lasting power. A perfect inexpensive fragrance for gourmand lovers. Got a compliment after testing it on my wrist

I will save you some money and will tell you that is 1:1 Boum do Brasil, which costs 4 or 5 euro and lasts longer than Pistacchio and Cheriosa 62.

I decided over time that I don't like the sourness that this composition gives off next to the pistachio.

This fragrance has the best pistachio smell I've ever smelled so it was a big disappointment to find out that the duration is 30 minutes. I had been looking at it for a while and when I finally passed in front of the store I sprayed it on my wrist, telling the saleswoman "I continue to shop, if when I finish shopping I can still smell it I will come back and buy it". Unfortunately, after twenty minutes the smell was very faint, after 30 It had vanished. I was very sad, because on the other wrist I had sprayed the yum pistachio of Sephora by kayali and this perfume by ERBOLARIO IS CLEARLY SUPERIOR, KAYALI seems chemical, but this one is sweet, enveloping and authentic. Many brands try to reproduce the smell of pistachio but few succeed. This was Such a well made and authentic fragrance and then they fail in longevity, what a disappointment!

To my nose it has a very edible and incredibly realistic pistacchio-caramel opening, sweet and way to edible and realistic for my tastes. So I have just smelled the opening and then washed it off. I like a gourmand now and then but this is too gourmand for me. Definitely a fall-winter fragrance.

Pistacchio smells just like a very sweet pistachio milkshake with caramel syrup on top. It’s a fragrance that feels like melted ice cream, rich, sugary, and indulgent. The pistachio note is front and center and it’s overall quite enjoyable, especially if you love gourmand scents.

Creamy, sweet pistachio. While Kayali's pistachio smells like fresh, ice-cream pistachio, this one smells like pistachio candy or cake that's a bit too sweet and sickening. It doesn't last long. Not for me.

This smells exactly like the 62 Body Mist, which I can't stand. It's overly sweet and lacks any depth or interesting notes. Not my thing at all. A sweet disappointment. I am sure teens will like it though :)

Non sarebbe male come profumazione se non fosse per il fatto che dura 1 ora sulla pelle, abbinato anche alla sua crema corpo. Ho tutti i profumi erbolario, e mi fa molto arrabbiare l'incredibile decadenza degli ultimi anni. Fino a 7 anni fa uscivano dei capolavori di intensità, durata e originalità ad un prezzo davvero irrisorio. Negli ultimi anni una disfatta, profumi sentiti e risentiti per nulla particolari, non più evocativi e soprattutto durata pari a 0 e prezzo aumentato. Decisamente anche no.

I bought a small 10ml bottle of this in Italy, a few months ago, and decided to try it today. Pistacchio by L'Erbolario opens very sweet, within a couple of minutes the nuttiness of the pistachio comes through, and it start to smell like Sicilian pistachio traditional dry pasticcini: this is the most delicious phase of the perfume! I can smell the caramel too. As it dries further, it becomes less sweet, I can maybe smell a salty note, but it is very faint. There is a tiny bit of soapiness, but no where near as the green soapiness I smell in Yum Pistachio Gelato by Kayali, Affection by Lattafa and even Paradoxe Radical Essence by Prada. Performance is overall quite poor. For my own personal taste, this is a much nicer pistachio perfume than those mentioned above, shame about the performance 💚💫

Beautiful! I bought a 10ml of this in a hurry in the cashier line at Verona airport - I had checked out the L'herbolario section in the Duty free and (of course!) there were no 30/50mls left of the scent so was more than happy to get even a 10ml. (This brand is not available where I live.) My favourite Youtuber, 'My Way' (i.e. Noura) recommended this in one of her videos and I tried to hunt it in a couple of pharmacies on my Veneto trip as well only to find it sold... This is a great pistachio scent! Longer lasting than the body spray of Cheirosa 62 and more dense and nutty than the perfume version of Cheirosa 62. Obviously the affordable price is a plus too. A perfect summer pistachio that's a keeper even in early autumn to reminisce the gorgeous sunnny days of summer.

Coccoloso! Si sente, non si fa desiderare.. Sento più cocco qui che nella fragranza al cocco della stessa linea (dove sento praticamente solo ylang ylang) in apertura sento cocco e poco dopo il pistacchio e assolutamente il caramello, sul finale un sentore fiorito delicato che deduco corrisponda ai fiori di pesco.. È una fragranza lattonico/fiorita e forse l'unica di questa collezione in cui sento alcol alla prima spruzzata, cosa che di solito non succede con i profumi erbolario.. Comunque è carina, in autunno si presta meglio, con il caldo potrebbe risultare soffocante. La sua pecca è la durata, tanto presente appena all'inizio quanto evanescente già dopo 10 minuti

this fragrance evolves beautifully. it might feel overly sweet/almond-y the second you spray it but after like 30 mins everything blends together and you get this sweet, slightly fruity scent. the pistachio note really only lasts for the first 20-30 mins so unfortunately i don't think this would be a good choice for anyone who's looking for a long lasting pistachio fragrance (this one isn't long lasting at all lol but i still like it a lot), but i do recommend it if you're looking for a lighter sweet summer fragrance (and you don't mind respraying!)

That slightly salty pistachio in the opening literally makes my mouth water. Then floral notes and blackcurrant come through, and in the drydown I’m left with caramel and coconut water. The subtle saltiness remains present throughout the entire wear. The fragrance is truly long-lasting and fairly intense, so there’s no need to overspray. To me, it’s a lovely sweet-and-salty mood booster on clothes. However, it does make me feel a bit nauseous, and I don’t think I’d want to smell like this on a daily basis.

A perfect summer scent for me, nothing complicated, a fun cute sweet scent. I would even go so far to say it is cloying yet I love it for some reason. Maybe its the resemblance to the scent of sun screen? I don’t know. Whenever I am wearing Pistacchio I feel like I lying on a beach somewhere in Italy enjoying the sunshine and the blue sky. I have just realized it also reminds me of Amouage Sunshine minus the Oud.

This is the pistachio perfume that Yum from Kayali wanted to be. Yum to me is so soapy. It is one of the very few Kayalis that I do not vibe with. But THIS...this precious pistachio baby from L'Erbolario is so creamy, luxurious and warm. Go get yourselves the corresponding body cream (Pistachio Velvety Body Cream) and use that to layer with the perfume and you will smell like the ultimate pistachio dessert.

at first I got really intrigued by it, but the more I smell it the more I hate it. its TOO sweet, like sickening sweet. the salt / caramel / pistachio combo is terrible. this is probably the only perfume from l’erbolario I don’t like :( bottom line, I still haven’t found a good or even decent pistachio scent. maybe I just don’t like it as a note.

love, love, love the opening - delicious, punchy pistachio note, mouth watering and strong. however i feel that it faded fairly quickly and i was left with a perfectly nice, but somewhat forgettable sweet base notes.

Mi ricorda il B C Cheirosa 62 Sol de Janeiro e Hot pink di Police. Appena spruzzato sembra di mangiare un gelato al pistacchio, adatto a chi vuole circondarsi di una nuvola dolcissima.
