Vaniglia e Zenzero

I love this fragrance so much! My mom picked up a bottle when she was in Italy in the early — mid 2000’s (maybe ‘07?) and I remember being a teenager sneaking a spritz every time I went in her bathroom. Even as a young teen I found it intoxicating and always felt so grown up when I sprayed it. Fast forward to 2020 and I was visiting her and for some reason thought of this perfume and brought it up to her. Turns out, she still had over half of the bottle left and gifted it to me. It’s safe to say the love I had for it then still exists now. It’s to warm and cozy and comforting yet somehow invigorating and energizing. On me the longevity is great (8+ hours) but becomes a skin scent after about 3 hours. The sillage and projection and good for about that same amount of time. All in all wonderful fragrance. I will savor this bottle since it seems it’s no longer in production and I can’t find it for sale online anywhere either Enjoy if you have the pleasure!

Just got this yesterday, and it was love at first sniff! I am a HUGE fan of ginger, and this scent was incredibly yummy! I got a slight hint of lemon the beginning, along with the ginger. The lemon faded after about half an hour, and the vanilla came in to play. This was such a light, creamy, sweet ginger that I could not stop sniffing my arm! As a natural perfume, the longevity isn't all that great on me, but I did get a good four hours out of it. This was more than I expected, so I was very happy about that! On me, the sillage is soft to moderate, depending on how much I spray. Anyway, I'm off to L'Erbolario's website to see what other products I can purchase in this scent! =)

Wow, what a hidden treasure. Effervescent ginger, delicious vanilla, a touch of lemon. Just had a terrible day at work, but this brightened up my day. Absolute monster of a sprayer. 7-8 hours of longevity. If you love unknown pleasures by kerosene, imagine this is a non-cloying less synthetic smelling version of it with no waffle. A vanilla balanced out with ginger and lemon. Dries down with less prominent ginger, paving the way for a very earthy bitter vetiver. My dudes, this one is unisex. 100%. Trust me.

What a wonderful scent!!! When I first sprayed it I'm not gonna lie the ginger was very overwhelming and strong and I wasn't sure if I would like it...but of course I gave it time to settle and the ginger is still very fragrant, but evens out with the vanilla to form this almost sensual aroma...fantastic!!!

This is so underrated! OMG! This is like pepsi mixed with ginger. Reminds me of a candy I had as a kid. Very nice scent trail and performance. Off the atomizer it strangely enough reminds me of moharees from this house too.

I love this fragrance for it's purity and delicious warmth. I am a big fan of this line. It is straightforward. This perfume smells like ginger and vanilla. There are no secrets.

This is a warm and uncomplicated scent. However, its beauty lies within its simplicity, sometimes less is more! I could only appreciate full-blown pure vanilla fragrances for a few hours max. and the reason is that I found most of them too plain on their own. Spices of different sorts had the opposite effect. I often found spice dominated fragrances to be too harsh, almost insulting with their assertiveness, axing their way through my nasal channels. All in all, when they say opposites attract, this is exactly the case with this fragrance. These two opposites blended beautifully attract me very much! The bourbon vanilla and the fresh ginger together create a third world... you know, some kids are most beautiful than their parents apart... Longevity is about 3 hours. After an hour the ginger slowly settles and the vanilla gradually takes over.

The opening smells like an Italian spritz drink and dries down to a delicious lemon/vanilla scent. Just lovely. If you're wondering if you should get D&G Devotion, get this instead. They are not the same but, if a creamy lemon vanilla is what you're after, this is much more performant, more interesting, and much cheaper.

Fresh and sweet are perfectly balanced. I think this scent can get along both with gourmande lovers and zesty scent lovers. Is perfect for mornings: it wakes you up with ginger and lemon but with sweetness. Currently I am using it daily and I think I am gonna repurchase it. Good buy for the price.

A fresh, almost sparkling and glistening like dew on a summer morning scent. The citrus and ginger opening slowly gives way to warm and subtle hints of vanilla. It's perfectly warm and sweet. The scent is close to the skin and like dew on a summer morning, quite fleeting.

Not a big vanilla fan, but this is really good! Ginger is so uplifting, while vanilla adds some warmth, just perfect for spring and summer! And I have to add, I wouldn't say it's oriental, somehow it's too fresh, maybe a bit gourmet, as some fine cookies.

Zingy Ginger/Amber/Vanilla. I found myself liking this more and more. Lively uplifting little scent that makes me smile but no cartwheels or confetti.Will I miss you when you're gone? Hmm.

I do normally love perfumes that develop in an usual and complicated way, but this simple scent got me completely. I've fell in love with it years ago, but I was skeptical about actually buying it. Today I felt like spoiling myself I little bit and I bought it. I'm in love: it's easy, fresh and cozy at the same time, soft and good for layering as well. I can't actually stop smelling the bottle itself. A good, "fresh" vanilla, where ginger and lemon dance together to give you a zesty opening.

i love this! This is one of the most, natural, and genuine scents I have ever smelled! The vanilla overtakes the ginger after a while, but I don't mind. It is the most pure and lovely vanilla ever!!

Its nice but not a fan for me the mixture just dosent cut it... like if it really dont exactly go together. Ginger is percieved at the begining The dry down is sweet and just vanilla.

Lo avevo preso nel 1999, cel'ho ancora ma non mi è piaciuto molto, infatti l'ho abbandonato già all'epoca. Mi ricordava troppo Mirra dei tesori d'oriente,non ci trovo differenze.

very sweet and cool! Reminds me some italian refreshing analcolik ginger drink for the summer as "san bitter" but more sweet .

One amazing scent! What's even more amazing is the fact that it's all natural, free of synthetics perfume!!! Love it!

This Fragrance was given to me as a gift from my relatives in Italy .. Really nice fragrance, lasts well
