Mimosa Supercritique

Mimosa blossoms on a bed of sweet, white florals, sprinkled with powdered sugar. Ethereal, angelic, would be perfect for a wedding day. Edit: I’ve been layering this over Diptyque l’Eau Papier and both perfumes have and it brings out the best in both fragrances. The sweet and clean contrast of notes is sublime and the scent bubble is enveloping. Longevity and projection are insane when combined thanks to the molecular notes. My husband adores this combo as do I.

An exciting, very evocative and refined perfume! for me this is an "angelic" perfume, delicate and modern at the same time! it was love immediately for me, I can say that it hit me, really nice!! Sillage: 6./10 Longevity: 7./10 Scent: 9./10 Overall: 9./10

Pure joy of a scent. It's aldehydic and crisp yet soft and fuzzy. Very interesting house to explore. The white series and fragrances in transparent bottles are all high class of perfumery. Highly suggesting to explore them.

This is the first mimosa fragrance that I've tried and enjoyed. In fact, I've enjoyed all of the Supercritique fragrances I've tried. The mimosa is most noticeable in the opening, and it's a bit sweet and powdery. Actually, it smells like it's combined with heliotrope--I'm a bit surprised that heliotrope is not listed as a note. As it develops, this becomes a bit solar and borderline aquatic/ozonic. I understand the comparison to Eden Roc, and it does go in that direction, but the two are different enough. The far dry down is intriguing. I get a seductive vanillic musk. There is a sweetness that runs in the background of this fragrance, from start to finish. Performance is very good. Leans a bit feminine IMO. I don't get any ambroxan (thankfully).

At first I get a very sweet syrupy blast like other contemporary perfumes. A few minutes after then the aldehydes and powdery mimosa starts to come in. Just that strange juxtaposition of sweet then aldehyde has me enamored! A light fluffiness creeps in - I smell a hint of vanilla here...more like a powdered sugar smell than a bakery version. So far I love it but not sure of a full bottle status yet. Will edit update later. Edit: So far not evolving enough into something super special. The soft vanillic aspect mixed with the ambroxan just isn't cutting it for me as interesting enough for a full bottle.

Sweet, cottony, innocent, it gives the impression of a soft pink color, not yellow flowers, like well-defined clouds seen from the plane in the dim afternoon light. It's pleasant, it won't bother you, it won't stand out...

There is an unpleasant civet note here that irritates and is bothersome. Still, the best mimosa is in Gucci's Winter's Spring

This is an explosion of aldehydes and whiteflorals. A beautiful bouquet of white florals, although I dont like tuberose and jasmine individually in perfumes, the blend is very very well done .The base is musky and the aldehydes give it a cold vibe, but the white florals come peeking through like sun comes out in a day where there is snow on the ground and melts everything. It reminds me a lot of Nuda Veritas from Atelier des Ors, the white florals are constructed the same way, but here those aldehydes really makes them stick .
