Moment Perpetuel

A lavender-cassis-fir from the Vosges, I don't know of very many of those. In this case, the quality of the raw materials used seems to be starting to play in the big league. The notes are really beautiful: fir and thyme at their freshest, even frozen, in a sort of upgraded version of the essential oil. The softness of the white musky iris hedione aspect is also quite fantastic, painterly, and for me the definition of comfortable in perfume. A timeless fragrance, to be sure, that instantly takes me back to memories as happy as they are joyful. Like my other two discoveries a little earlier, it's also a multi-layered fragrance, whose aspects I discover with every elbow movement and return of scent after a gust of wind. Hence the oxymoron of its name, perhaps, with the fresh/pine (almost clary sage) aspect on one side very clear-cut, and another more indigo/sweet aspect on the other. It's a fragrance that reminds me of the mountains, dried bouquets of wild plants, tumbling rocks and family Sundays. It's a scent of evening thyme by the fire and blackberry fritters with the family, a happy scent, in other words, a very soothing scent. It's a little too sweet for me on the dry down (a criticism I often have about other fragrances of the same type, such as Floraïku), but without that, I'd almost have called it a "coup de coeur".

Wow! This opens with pure lavender. Like I put lavender essential oil on my arm. After 15min starts drying into a sweet, fruity aromatic. I assume that's the "blackberry" and "currant" giving the sweet fruit but neither are clear to me. The lavender remains clear with strong support from fir.

I’m enjoying it more each day. Starts off with a burst of lavender (good quality, natural) then dry down is sweet but aromatic, can smell ripe blackberry and fir and musk...so so good!

Lavender field, not the essential oil kind, but a real flower. Really nice fresh smell

Great lavander scent. Even tho it disappears in maximum 3h, and does not radiate at all, its nevertheless a great olfactory experience especially since lavander is not really used in fragrances that much. The fir and bergamot compliment it very well, and after the opening it just gives that good “Mother Nature” vibe, like you re planting a flower garden in front of your secluded house, deep in the woods. Smells fresh, citrusy, earthy and great!

This is very gorgeous and original, fresh, deep and sparkly. Very fruity with lavender. Leans a tad more feminine but i wear it all the time.

Celery smell on my skin-- never had a scent go celery on me before. Not a dirty celery but a fresh bright citrusy celery. Stayed quite linear for a few hours. the dry down after 6 hours to a very pleasant light fir scent. So odd how scents change so drastically with our chemistry as I havent heard anyone else experience celery. Other Les Eaux Primordiales perfumes are a dream on my skin like Rosewood, Champ D'Inlfuence, Oud Superfluide, and Magnolia Supercritique
