Oud Superfluide

A clean, dry, unisex oud with the smell of burned incense. The comparisons with BR 540 and AG Cloud are bonkers to me. There is no sweetness. No candy. No dentist office. This is all creamy, natural wood and smoke. I love it.

Although oud-tired, I was lured here by sesame: oriental Halva patisserie blends beautifully with resinous-smoky oud, some saffron and frankincense to a stimulating & long-lasting fragrance experience.

Beautiful fragrance, but it lasts only 5-6 hours and its gone. Its very close to BR540, but this one has a mild oud note, which is not outstanding or offensive. Safe try for oud frag beginners ;)

A bit softer and sweeter oud for glory. Saffron note is less rubbery and vanilla replaces the lavender. Otherwise in the same ballpark.

Not much more to say other than I agree with those who think this is reminiscent of BR540. Considering what that costs this is a very good alternative if one gets price fatigue.

Classic oud with really good quality, I would recommend it to someone? No. The price is mad. There are lot of masterpieces even cheaper and this is not one of those.

Easy to wear oudy frag, for anyone who is scared of oud but wants to give it a chance. Nice one!

Feels very enjoyable, a bit smoky, like humid smoke with a hint of Vanilla. Oud is enjoyable and it blends beautifully with warm Benzoin and soft Sesame. I like the blend during the first hour even if for me it's not like an Oud scent. It's a crowd pleasing western Oud. It's nice after that as well but while the scent evolves it becomes more like woods with Vanilla. A gentle humid smoke remains anyway which is nice and it never gets so sweet. Overall this is nice scent but too general and simple for me. There is no Saffron here, not in the notes, it does'n smell like that either. An earthy feeling comes from Sesame but it's definitely not a Saffron like earthiness. This is great to wear in cooler climate but it works surprisingly well in warm weather as well without being too heavy or suffocating. It's a strange. Very, very strange. More masculine, no sweatness on my cold type of skin. Got a sample. Not my cup of tea. I don't like aoud at all. Can't wear it alone. Mixed with Kalotinis Coffe Addict become wearable. I can layer with Kalotinis almost everything. But never would buy a full bottle or even a sample of this wonder. For me - Oud Superfluide don't worth so much money.

Excellent, elevated oud without feeling the need that so many brands do right of corrupting the oud with overt florals or, god forbid, passion fruit (Crivelli......) It's far and away the best oud for that sweet spot between being mass appealing, appropriate for the office, not at all fecal, but smelling sophisticated and expensive. I refuse to buy it. The bottles look like something you would clean the oven with. I emailed the brand asking if I could get some standard plastic container so I could decant, but this wasn't available. For the price point, I am literally boycotting until they get their act together. I know we care about the scent, not the bottle, but good god. I'd have to hide it in my sock drawer like some shameful adult device.

Lol, love the reviews here, people go by the notes on fragrantica which are not correct, but they feel them in the perfume :)))))))))) The perfume has NO SAFFRON listed on the website, there s not a hint of saffron in the smell either. This is a nice interpretation of oud, very wearable, has a fresh touch to it, probably from the bitter orange. Very faintly brings my mind to Oud and bergamot from Jo malone, but that one is too harsh and old furniture smelling , this is extremly , extremly refined and you cant feel too much of anything. Where's the oud? I was baffled why I couldn't smell anything on the cap in the store (multiple times, every time I tried). The sample revealed the problem. I'm in the camp of BR540 people. This is the metallic side of that scent, the side I get anosmic to very quickly. That's all I'm getting here. The metallic/"watery" part of BR540 with no burnt sugar. Very "synthetic", meaning very "molecular", "unnatural" scent. Disappointing. (At least in the opening)

-This opens 90% similar to BR540 and Ariana Cloud. -To be specific, this smells exactly like the dry-down of Ariana Cloud sans the synthetic, plasticky note that reminds me of a dentist's office. -Mostly a linear scent, apart for the muted spice note that appears in the dry-down. (-)

This is baccarat Rouge with a heavy dose of Saffron Was a blind buy, I wouldn't get it if I tried it first. A Try before you buy, might not be for everyone..

This smells like the dry down of DHP.
