Santal Superfluide

Very addictive. Strong ,airy, enveloping scent, creates a bubble around you, so seductive, dark and mysterious.. Suited for cold days, its not the creamy type of sandalwood, very woody & cold. The most prominent notes to my nose are Ambroxan, Saffron and Plum. For me this is a night time only scent, fem leaning and I can wear it wearing dark clothes only.

A bit floral, a bit sweet, a bit sharp, but creamy santal. I love this perfume. I'm not sure yet if I will buy a full bottle. I have the much cheaper version of this: Billie Eilish No. 2. Perhaps a travel spray first.

This is a unique take on Sandalwood. Very unique, very potent ! This is a masterpiece.

It's not a usual santal. There is no creaminess, that denseness and projection of usual santal perfumes. Although, there is some amber-like deepness from labdanum, it is not a tough perfume, on the contrary, even rather airy, I could see it being suitable for summer months. I can feel a lot of ambroxan, cedar, fuzzy, soft musk. Not animalic in any way, just seems warm and skin-like. Longevity and sillage are moderate. +

Got this as a10 ml vial at 50% discount. Tried it for the second day now and its not unpleasant but rather weak. Even a bit boring I must say. Some wood, and a sweetness of rose/violet. Sandalwood is quite dry. In the drydown the perfume lingers as a musky skin scent. Shares the same woody rose dna as Rosewood (primordiales as well). If you like a strong perfume with lots of sillage, projection an longevity, this is not the best buy. But on the other hand totally office-proof and suitable for warm weather due to the airy composition.

Weak , uninspiring , somehow mainstream Rose and sandalwood is getting repetitive and overused in the fragrance industry To my nose it’s a combination that i personally don’t like I don’t remember sandalwood and rose scent that I actually liked So this one was just as bad I tried accepting it Wore it a couple of times It’s just way too tame for its own good A bad beginning for the house from my own experience Not recommended

The plum smells so much like grape bubblegum, and it's so prominent, that it kind of ruins it for me. Once you smell past that, the rest of the perfume is nice, though quite subtle. This one's not for me.

Okay, let's be honest here, Les Eaux Primordiales is not enough appreciated as it should be. THIS IS BOMB! WHAT???? This is so beautiful, one of the most amazing Santal scents on the market for sure. Hands down this is the creation of creations, beauty of beauties, the santal king and it has to sit on the top of the throne! This stuff is so addictive, there are no words to even describe it. what a wonderful scent.... This is not a lactonic or any kind of milky sandalwood... no no no this is beast woody luminous and radiating. It is not your soft and cozy sandalwood scent... this one is opulent loud and leaves traces everywhere. This one is for confidence and power, for protection and mystical alluring energetical vibes. Very powerful but also very mesmerizing and attractive perfume, seducing and enticing for sure. I love how strong the woody facets may be but also how very nicely they are paired with a hint of sweetness. This one gives me shivers! Amazing creation! Just omg... I can not believe how not a lot of people know about this drug like perfume...

Oh God this is sweet, very very sweet . Didnt expect that. It has violets which I dont stand in perfumery and some rose oxyde that is like a very concentrated rose , penetrating your nostrils. The Labdanum cists are also making it honey like sweet, just like it gets in Cant stop loving you from Kilian .This is a pass for me. Santal Superfluide is slowly growing on me.. we'll see how it goes.. The opening is sharp & metallic. Gradually it turns into a creamy scent, where the main players are sandalwood, violet, saffron and musk. I'm not a fan of ambroxan & the metallic facet here. An airy & cold composition, imo fits the winter aesthetic. Update: Sold it. Couldn't befriend it after all. My YouTube channel: @Sanne Parf

This is a wonderful work scent! The santal and the mixture of notes gives it a great marriage. The santal is not strong but just right. The dry down is a sweet plum Santal wood scent. Great for the office and never offensive. This could be worn all year round.

A masterclass in how to turn one of the most noble, subtle, dreamy, creamy, powdery and beautiful smelling raw materials into something screechy, plastic and nasty. Please, save the trees!!
