OYSTER

The opening is very strong of citrus, florals, and tropical fruit. I personally find that leaning oh so slightly feminine. But so clean and beautiful. Within the first hour (depending how much you sprayed) the opening subsides to some warm spices in the background along with more of the sea water which in my opinion brings it more masculine. What remains into the dry down is this clean, uplifting, dimensional, fruity floral, ocean mist. Like walking through a flower garden while eating tropical fruit somewhere near a beach. Overall this is nearly a love for me. Perfect for Summer. It makes me feel like I'm on vacation when I wear it.

i am obsessed with oysters in general and am always on the lookout for oyster perfume, so i joined the waitlist for this and had a bottle ordered like 2 minutes after it launched. the beginning is like the cologne section at Dillards after some teenage boys have gone around spraying everything at once and i have no other way to describe it. this most definitely leans very masculine at the beginning but that sort of overwhelming start is present in every single Les Elixirs scent i've ever tried. after it dries though it completely loses that overpowering masculine energy, it's almost exactly like if you put your whole face in a conch shell and breathed in. it smells like salt air and sand but in a way that's a little dirty, as in like actual dirt from the ground. it last a good 5-7 hours though and by the end it's just a very light and clean with a hint of mineral and citrus. unfortunately for me it's a little too much in the opening. this is another scent my husband fell in love with and has stolen from me, he wears it all the time and gets a ton of compliments on it. which is funny because he hates oysters.
