Baccara Vanille

What you get with this is a beautiful floral note that reminds me of walking through a garden of white and yellow flowers upon first spraying this on skin. Something like my mother's garden would be like. As this dries down its all about the Vanilla. You have the Amber in their as well but the vanilla takes over and gives a luxurious yet cozy vibe. This is powerful yet sensual so you don't need a lot of sprays to become noticed. The quality 👌🏾 of this fragrance is evident and I can see why this is a best seller. I'm definitely gonna explore more from this house.

Baccara Vanille was launched in 2019 and is the best-selling perfume by Les Fleurs Du Golfe to date. Its concept talks about a fragrance capable of creating an irresistible and warm atmosphere, which makes it impossible to be indifferent to its scent. In a non-literal translation into the Portuguese language, its name would be something like “Jogo da Baunilha” or anything related to gambling bets. That's because the term Baccara comes from the Italian Baccarà, which is a card game in which players bet on the hand that they think is closest to nine, either from another player or from the dealer/banker. Baccara appeared in 1490 and was taken to France, becoming the favorite game of the nobles during the reign of Charles VIII. But beware! This is all my interpretation of the context and I can be completely wrong so far. The Baccara Vanille's fragrance combines notes of bergamot, on top; Tropical flowers and Indian roses, in the body; Amber, vanilla, and almond's extract, in the base of the olfactory pyramid. It is time to start testing and, immediately, I can understand the reason for the success of sales! When touching the skin, the fragrance of Baccara Vanille is like an arrow from cupid. Indeed, it is impossible to remain indifferent to its scent. You may not even like very floral and pungent fragrances, but you can never question the quality and delicacy of this perfume. A mixture of Tahitian gardenias, tuberose, and, perhaps, ylang-ylang or frangipanis explodes over the body as if a gas balloon – filled with a colorful and perfumed pollen – is thrown in my face. This scent of white and yellow flowers invades the environment and does not give space for the roses so easily. But they appear after a while, pulling the amber upwards. Then, the evolution remains more linear and Baccara Vanille starts revealing its hotter and more sensual side. On my skin, the fragrance does not behave the same way every time I wore it. In the first test, the drying became more ambery, while on other occasions, the smell of almonds was more dominant. Anyway, it is important to note that Baccara Vanille is not a perfume focused only on the note of vanilla, but on its comforting and luxurious aspect, which seems to have disappeared from the shelves in recent years, especially in the Masstige segment, where fragrances tend to present very synthetic and gourmand nuances in order to conquer a more adolescent audience. Here, we have a clear example of the use of better-quality raw materials. Baccara Vanille is completely unisex, powerful, and sensual. And as contradictory as it may seem, it has a certain versatility, because it does not seem to me to be restricted only to night use. My only concern is with the weather. Right now, Brazil is going through the Fall and temperatures are varying between 13o and 20o, which makes its use very opportune. If Cupid's arrow has a name, it's Baccara Vanille!

My least favorite out of line even tho not listed this fragrance has a strong black pepper note that ruins the perfume completely I can’t stand it on paper or on skin 😡 I gave it away so fast and didn’t regret it.

No nose, very bad quality, and all the perfume in the same year (2019) : brand of dupes 100%. Its not nose but "no one knows" lol
