Gourmand Extrême

Spectacular creamy, spicy, fruity, floral and musky scent. I get a similar vibe of Rosendo Mateu No 5 but this one is the Oriental one. I get about 10 hours of Longevity and it filles Rooms the first 3 or 4 hours, then you get arms length protection and clear sillage 3 more hours with 2 Sprays. It's expensive, but it's worth every penny! Perfect for a Sexy date night in cold weather.

To me, this is similar to YSL Babycat, but without the plasticky aspect. Babycat is a non-sweet vanilla, but comes off as a bit plasticky. If you want the same quality of scent, but without the plasticky feel, I'd sample this one. So, they are not dupes, but this is like a more feminine sister of Babycat. Honestly, I don't understand how this can have such bad ratings while Babycat has really high ones... I suspect it's because not enough men has discovered this one yet, and they rate perfumes higher than women do. Or maybe people enjoy the slightly astringent quality of Babycat? In any case, I think this is better than the ratings indicate. It also has WAY more vanilla than is indicated by the notes - what's up with that? The notes say this mainly smells of spice. I know about fragrances that are waaaaaaay more spicy without that note being rated as strong. Only if it's Christmas spices, but this is still mainly a vanilla to me. I'm also confused about some people saying this doesn't last. Most of my perfumes lasts worst than this one, no longevity-issues her, because this lasts for days on clothes.

Now i ain't a leather fan AT ALLLLLLL!!!. But this here, I f**k with👌🏿. At first sniff i was like nooo way, then within 2mins the sweetness stared shining through....eventually i was like yhhhh this is officially the only leather frag i like. Its basically laether with a lot of sweetness/florals in the blend. Takes away the animalic nature of leather. Performance on this is enormous, DO NOT OVERSPRAY!. loool. Also the gyaldem loveeeee this one. So mandem, you know what to do💷💷💷

Not a gourmand. Just a “little” misleading in the title. This is very similar to Arabian’s Tonka but with a touch of Leather. I find this house extremely overrated. Their fragrances lack quality and the niche vibes. Bottles feel cheap, specially the cap. Never again.

Just received my bottle in the mail and I will start with the positives. I totally agree with the comparison to RM5. They are nearly identical. However, having sprayed both on each hand, GE appears more concentrated (oil sheen left on my skin) and projects more strongly on me than RM5 which makes sense since GE is an extrait de parfum. To me, GE dries down sweeter whereas RM5 dries down more floral. As for the negative, at first I was not happy with the condition of my package/shipping so I sent them a DM on Instagram and received a reply from someone immediately. I believe it was the owner. The person apologized profusely and asked how they can resolve it. I did not ask for anything, just wanted to make sure they were aware of the condition I received my order in. I appreciated the prompt response and willingness to address it. The person then gave me a discount code for my next purchase. Really appreciate their customer service.

How is saffron and/or leather not listed in the notes? That's all I get. It's more like Arabians Tonka than anything to my nose. Glad I sampled it first. This is not, in my opinion, a gourmand on any level!
