Chypre Azural

I wanted to write this down quickly as I was experiencing it, so I apologize if this is not written very well. This is my very first time experiencing this brand in any shape or form. I have heard about it, but I have never sampled it at a department store or purchased samples online. The sample spray I applied about an hour ago is my very first introduction and reaction to LI. What an expression of craftsmanship! If you are a connoisseur of fragrance, I am happy to tell you Chypre Azural is instantly recognizable as a top shelf composition. I know I am starting hot right out of the gate, but I say these things after spending over an hour researching and reading the details of CA and the quality of the essential oils used. I have learned many things, but I am surprised most of all to learn citrus chypres exist in this manner and can be done so in a way that not only is balanced, but also lasts longer than 12 hours! Learning about fragrance is a blessing and a curse. It is a pleasure to educate myself about one of my passions, but I am also realizing I may have purchased items in the past that really aren't that great and the more I expand my fragrance universe, the less I expand my monetary freedom lol. CA is simple and elegant, but not boring. There are times the sillage will envelop me in a subtle hint of tarragon mixed with the finest quality of patchouli from Indonesia. The Grand Cru. For those of you who can tell the difference between premier and grand, this fragrance is for you. If you are someone who does not particularly care, this may not be worth your money. That's why there are so many variances in fragrance reviews. In my personal opinion, I think the quality of detail adds to the already exceptional creative composition. Not only does it satisfy my olfactive desire for the moment, it excites me for the future experience of the rest of the brand. If I liked to wear citrus perfumes I definitely would buy this one and "Escale en Indonésie | Les Indémodables" which I just reviewed few days ago. Both are so pleasant, soft, silky smooth and incredibly long lasting. There is Bergamot and Citron in "Escale en Indonésie | Les Indémodables" which makes it a little bit more traditional and Orange in Chypre Azural which adds a unique touch to it while being somewhat delicious yet fresh in the same time. Tarragon makes it slightly herbal but luckily only a little bit and on my skin it doesn't smell Anis at all which is good. Rose and Patchouli add together a delicate classic beauty aspect to the scent but both are utterly fragile, like a watercolour painting. Ambergris is a perfect choice into this composition since it adds the already existing attractive character of this scent. The blend is wonderful, I have been wearing a 3ml sample of it and I've enjoyed every moment. Chypre in the name doesn't match with the scent itself at all. I don't know if it's just me but when thinking Chypre it automatically means something complex. More than that it tells me that there would be Oakmoss in the perfume and these modern "Chypres" with only Patchouli in it make me just confused. Patchouli makes it earthy yes and you can feel here sophisticated earthiness as well but it definitely doesn't make that amazing mossy vibe which "real" Chypres have. There exists geniusly constructed Oakmoss Accords nowadays so personally I don't understand why only Patchouli based perfumes should be called Chypres. At all events I hope that all people who are trying to find their favourite citrus perfume or particularly Orange perfume would find Chypre Azural. You may call me crazy for saying this. I do not care.... This is the Habit Rouge reincarnate. It is the renewed Habit Rouge, which has perfected itself, mastered its emotions remaining calm in every instance of panic or pressure. It has finally found its identity, being confident in every circumstance. If you haven't already realized I am already convinced into proving this is Habit Rouge's almost perfect form. The fruitier, juicier Habit Rouge. Chypre Azural is nothing short of the handsome and properly behaved, good-natured heir to Guerlain's 20th century masterpiece. If you have Habit Rouge and you smell this - you won't argue with me. The scent begins with a ripe, juicy, green and luminous orange! Another minimalist offering from this house that is a photorealistic dewy orange on a hot summer day, lying under its tree on fresh wild grass. It dries to a beautiful old-world powdery, metallic, soapy and dry orange heart much like Habit Rouge. But unlike Habit rouge which is much more conservative and seeks to smell like a fragrance, more powdery and soapy, this becomes an aroma more candied, less sharp, more herbal or medicinal in character almost, chewy, tangy, gourmand and powdery - like an orange flavored vitamin gummy. On my skin a nice kiss of real cranberry or real grape-like tartness to round off the fleeting edges of the scent profile. I get a hint of photorealistic berries in this, as if the orange tree in my imagination is accompanied by raspberry bushes, blueberry bushes and currant bushes nearby. A glowing, neon green, herbaceous scent that shouts sophistication and poise while performing decently even for a citrus dominant scent. Almost 6-7 hours on my skin with decent projection the whole time. A Chypre whose smoother, gourmand facets change the game to something I want all Chypres to evolve into in the near future. My best orange scent so far - a reference orange . 🍊🍇🍃 10/10

The initial impression of it is clear, transparent, and bright. It feels like strolling through a citrus orchard bathed in warm sunlight, with green leaves swaying in the shadows. You pluck an orange, peel it, and accidentally cut your nail, releasing overflowing juice. The top notes are filled with the rich, juicy scent of oranges. As you eat the segments, the aroma of orange peel and orange oil lingers on your fingertips. The white fibers on the orange bring a slightly bitter yet bright and clean scent, leaving a vivid impression of the true essence of oranges. 🍊 In the middle and base notes, the vitality of the sunlit oranges diminishes, and both brightness and richness subside. Flowers timely emerge, adding softness to the fragrance. The floral notes are refined, creating layers that are sweet yet fresh. The green, grassy, woody undertones persist throughout, subtly lingering underneath, providing a fresh backdrop that complements the orange. 🍊 Overall, it is clean, warm, gentle, and intricately layered yet lightweight. Long-lasting citrus fragrances are rare, making it a unique find in the orange-scented perfume category. The character associated with this fragrance is someone wearing light-colored attire, with light playing on their skin. When they see you, they reveal a smiling face, gentle and courteous. Not the most conspicuous in a crowd, but as you get closer, you realize their refined taste and approach to life. It seems like no one would be unsuitable for it. Maybe not the most original orange-fresh-herbal in the world, but done to Indemodables' usual impeccable standard and just a tiny hair more niche-y and quirky than its nearest brother-from-another-mother, Hermes Concentre d'Orange Vert, and with a good deal more lasting power. Utterly brilliant citrus brightness at first (I could swear there's a little ting! of lemon-zest zing on top of the orange) and its modulation to something greener, more herbal and yes, a little bit more masculine later on is handled with intelligence as well as panache. Still unisex as far as I'm concerned - anyone of any gender who wants to smell crisp and well-put-together yet natural can deal with it. And no, I don't know why they called it Chypre either - as there's none of the usual civet or animalics, although the patchouli + tarragon mix is a great mimic for traditional oakmoss. That sheer simplicity is a key to Azural's radiant success - nothing too stark, but nothing too fussy - it's minimalism done right. If Parfum d'Empire's mighty Azemour and Boucheron's Orange de Bahia had not already covered the orange-peel ground in my collection, Chypre Azural would most certainly be next on the list. Orange excellence, which is a rare, rare thing.

I have discovered this brand because one of its perfumes (Vanille Havane) was voted by the users of this platform as an all-time niche favorite. Having tested all fragrances of Les Indémodables with the exception of their 2 eaux de cologne, I must admit being impressed by the classical French elegance they all wear. It does not happen often that I am struck by an entire collection. Even their Vanille Havane, which I find too much of a punch in the face to enjoy it (and which reminds me of Mon Guerlain Intense), I find exquisite. Also the Rose and the Iris perfumes (which are not at all my alley) I find wonderful, and I could even wear them. Upon opening, Chypre Azural gave me a smile and for sure big acknowledgement. Its name had me guessing for another type of perfume though. One of my all time favorites is Guerlain's Concentré d'Orange Verte. Chypre Azural reminds me of it but it contains a spiciness that differentiates it from other perfumes of the kind (Eau Sauvage etc.) - I suppose that that is what the term Chypre refers to. I need to spray a lot, and I am a lot poorer since I have bought a full bottle, but I think that the little gem will be one of my signature perfumes for now.

Whenever fragrances are inspired by others I don’t hesitate to share or announce that even if partial inspiration Sadly I prefer not to do that with smaller or less prominent fragrances since I’m not sure or maybe it just happens to be a close creation to something else but when the evidence is as clear as day I just can’t ignore it This a definite interpretation of Azemour Les Orangers by Parfum d'Empire As much as I loved the later but this one is a lot better let’s delve deeper The oranges were just as good but stayed for a little longer which is good in my case The freshness is incredible here just as the latter But what made the real difference is the performance it lasted as long as I want no problems or issues here And the green side of the scent mixed with the oranges are very well balanced better I may add than Azemour‘s mixture Out of the top of my head this is the best Les Indemodables fragrance that I’ve ever tried and I’m getting a full bottle in the future (god willing)

So I get an opening of bergamot and green shoots which morphs into orange, first bitter (pith) then sweet orange which lasts into a very mild EDC type neroli orange blossom note, just peaking through what is a very mossy, pretty relentless chypre moss. It has a bit of an indy sensibility but the truth of the matter is that indy perfumes can't make a citrus as bright and enlongated as this. It's kinda a very fresh, eau de cologne, chypre hybrid. Very, very good. Solid and just what I expect from this brand. The sample was gifted by Les Indemodables but this has no bearing on my review whatsoever. I'd say it's a touch expensive but they all are really, and the naturals present are in quite small quantities, (although a few are overdosed) the perfumers get the most out of them.

#727 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Another great scent from Les Indemodables and the last of the twelve samples in the introduction set I purchased. This is very reminiscent of Dior Eau Sauvage, but more similar to the less complex Parfum than the EDT or Extreme, and made considerably more herbal by the terarragon note, such that (and I never expected to ever write these words), I like it better than the Eau Sauvage Parfum. This is a great masculine leaning chypre worth owning. Perfect business wear, but good date wear if your date is out of her 20's and has a fragrance taste more sophisticated than just vanilla, vanilla and more vanilla. Definitely picking up a full bottle of this juice.

A light, quiet clementine orange/petitgrain top but with some earth-like woodiness bubbling away underneath, a soft, transparent patchouli and a whisper of herbal tarragon. This is one of the most beautiful contemporary citrus chypres I've smelled. Over time it may even beat the original Chanel Pour Monsieur for my top spot. On skin it opens more orange soda than I'd hoped. I preferred the sunny, natural, more lemony note on the blotter but it quickly settles back into quiet but zesty clementine peel as before. The base is lovely, light and hay-like. A new hit for summer.

Without tarragon, this would’ve fallen flat on me. With it, it’s wonderful. Uplifting with essence of orange; like someone squeezed fruit that had already been used, so that just the juice from the rind is obtained. For those warm summer days when you want to take a break from tropical or florals. This leans herbal, and very natural. For a citrus based scent I’m getting decent longevity, though the scent stays close.

Don't be deceived by chypre in the name, it is through and through citrus perfume (mostly orange) with very little aspect of chypre in the dry down if any. Performance in my skin is monstrous it is still there even after I take a bath. I love it, big success blind buy on my part, and I got 2 vials another perfume from this house, i think this house have excellent quality.

This has one of the most incredible orange notes. It just constantly rings and rings as it shoots off your skin like you plucked a string of a harp, and yet it's still transparent with a constant herbal undertone. Yes it's expensive, but this has quickly become one of my favorites to wear in the high heat.

This smells exactly like orange peel on my skin, and I mean exactly. It’s the most realistic orange smell ever. Doesn’t project that much but longevity is above average for this kind of scent.

Gawd I love this stuff. If you need a “new” citrus with herbal and aromatic that doesn’t bore you to tears, here it is. The tarragon on orange gives it a hint of Fruit Stripe (IYKYK) gum.

Bitter orange all the way through, lasting forever. Projection is obviously not a bomb, but it really lasts.

What a juicy orange! Also the most natural smelling and long lasting.

Personal: 7/10 - It's clean, bright, and professional. It's a bit too sharp, and the bitterness is a bit too strong for me though. Mass appeal: 6/10 - Fresh citrus-chypre frags are approachable, but the bitterness makes this one a bit abrasive. Performance: 7/10 - Fair longevity for something reasonably fresh. Value: 4/10 - At over $200, it's an expensive price tag for an old-school, simple DNA. Uniqueness: 6/10 - Vivid citrus with a chypre structure isn't anything new, but this feels more modern than what was typical of this DNA 60 years ago. SCORE: 60/100 Full bottle buy? NO, it's polished but redundant. Blind buy? NO, herbal chypres are divisive, and the price is high enough to warrant sampling. Recommend? YES, if you want a more modern take on a *vintage* DNA. Date night? NO, it's elegant, but not alluring. Office safe? YES, it's pretty professional and classy. Pros: Elegant, bright, and well blended. Solid modern take on a classic DNA. Cons: Expensive, too herbal and bitter for me, and it's not something sufficiently unique. This feels quite barbershoppy, which I don't mind. It's a very old feeling DNA, but not in a grandpa way, more of an old-money sort of way. I don't hate this fragrance, but I don't love it. It leaves no lasting impression. If I smelled it in passing I would find it pleasant, and move on. But I would assume the wearer had a credit score above 800. It's a classic DNA that you can guess, pretty accurately, how it smells based on its notes. Nothing to hate, nothing to love. If you gave this to your grandpa, he would say "I remember back when I was your age I had something that smelled just like this!" *Review #48 in my fragrance journey - this fragrance I own as a decant*

Reviewing an official sample from 2025. Chypre Azul was launched in 2016. This is a bright Tarocco Orange bomb with not enough support to help it come across as a true chypre. Chypre Azul opens with bitter, sour citrus almost lemony with a wiff of rose. Realistic and fresh enough not to conjure cleaning products. Then over time ...more citrus. The heart notes seem to be MIA. Tarragon and patchouli are barely perceptible. The dry down is .....citrus again with a touch of soft amber. Overall comes across fairly linear. I'm not sure if this is a batch issue or reformulation but other reviewers have also noticed the lack of a supporting cast to the citrus. This makes the fragrance unbalanced which is a shame as the ingredients are beautiful Quality - excellent ingredients; unbalanced blending Unisex Performance - very good for the citrus but not for the other notes Very fresh citrus forward fragrance. For more complexity layer this over any citrus/floral citrus/fruity citrus/woody scent that needs a boost to the strength and longevity of the citrus notes. 7/10

Received my shipment today 😌 A FB of this included. Interesting name for what is like Ramon Monegal Entre Naranjos an approximate facsimile of Hermes Concentree D‘Orange Verte - arguably the best still in the Orange genre despite its low oil content. CDOV is still one of my top faves and signature scents. Unlike Entre Naranjos that is to me an exact copy with poor performance for an EDP this excels and was obviously worth the purchase as it is decent performance and the soapy earthy drydown is removed and replaced with a somewhat dry tarragon giving and maintaining a freshness and greeness lacking in the others. This perhaps making it more contemporary than old school. Effectively this reminds me of a pleasant slightly sweet not too tart dried orange peel - or - dried orange on the skin. The green hint just carrying it enough into perfume territory rather than reminding you that you need to clean up after a mess lol. Best bought at a discount. Great uplifting summer scent with decent not exceptional Sillage and longevity.

This is lovely, its for once an orange that dosen't go funky, annoying or is artificial. Plus it LASTS (the chypre dry down last 12h+)! And cuz of the comment bellow I want to share that my costumer service expirience was AMAZING. This is a tiny company, so tiny you will have your emails awnsered directly by the founders Valerie and Remi and they do a lot for the industrie. I got a discount code with my sample pack that was expired, I asked if anything could be done about it and recived a new one with in two days. I asked for my full bottle to be gift wraped and it was lovely plus I got 4 full 3.5 ml samples of other scents extra. (If you buy from les indemodables, you also buy how the scents are made and from what resources and the price is for once justivied that high! They buy tiny batches of HIGH quality and fair produced rawmaterial, not huge bulks like big houses, and so I'd expect to have chaning nuances for each batch)

Chypre Azural (which isn’t even a Chypre at all) definitely surprised me. Initially, this surprise was unpleasant and one that I dismissed, however I soon came back to the scent with a changed perspective; not one of love, but not one of boredom and disdain at least. The bulk of this scent is made up by this wonderful note of Sicilian Orange. It’s sharp, fizzy and juicy, yet remains perfectly bitter and rindy in contrast. Combine this with tarragon which is again quite sharp, but also green, grassy and a touch earthy, and you’re left with quite a simple but effective scent. As I said, it’s not a Chypre - there is no possible way it can be considered a Chypre. But that aside, it’s a nice fragrance. One which I will enjoy wearing this coming summer, but it’s nothing to write home about, or rush into blind buying.

Testing this on skin from discovery kit. Really good projection and longevity so far. Scent wise, I really like it but it smells a lot like cheaper scents u can buy (TDH eau tres fraiche, atelier cologne orange sanguine, ADP arrancia di capri to name a few). I personally think Hermes orange notes smell better but I can’t deny this scent made me smell when I first sprayed this on skin. Not FB for me mostly cause the price and the competition that’s usually much cheaper. But maybe when I curate my collection for a bit more quality I’ll be sure to check this one out in the future

Les Indemodables Chypre Azural (2016) - orange chypre - @odorescence creates an easy-to-wear citrus chypre that resemble the backbone of classical reference points such as Chanel’s Pour Monsieur or Cristalle. Starts the perfume with a combination of bright and tart Sweet orange mixed with herbal and anise-like Tarragon. As the top and middle notes are mainly that casual citrus-herbal top, that softens and comes this chypre-like structure, without the oakmoss. I get Patchouli, Rose, Jasmine and Resins. Cleaner, modern yet shows respect to the classics.

One of the most solid and easy wearing from the collection. Top note consist of a true to life orange with clear astringence and bitter aftertaste, it's sparkling and express quality. The heart its delicately blended, with a smooth transition to a velvety rose-patchouli accord, free from patchouli or dried flower off-notes, it just smells like nature on skin with creamy and powdery notes. Great one for an delicate fresh chypre.

Absoultely stunning orange note, very realistic, intense. Underneath there is a touch of green bitterness, very mildly herbal. I guess this is the tarragon, but there isn't that much of an anise aspect from it imho. I don't get a lot of the rose or amber tbh, this is mainly about the orange note. This is solid, I like it but I personally wouldn't spend so much on a fragrance that is so "one note" and doesn't do anything new.

This just makes me smile from first spray to dry down. This house is fast becoming a favorite for their quality and variety. This is sparkling happy citrus. I can actually smell fresh oranges - not the least synthetic. This is very summery but I can see spraying in the winter when needing a pick me up. A tad linear but that could be a good thing when you need that cheerful citrus to stay around a while.

Tart, almost sour, Sicilian orange the initial star of the show. Develops into a light and bright, citrus driven freshie that is far more interesting than the usual trope. Aromatic, ever so softly herbal with tarragon mostly evident in the opening. Subtle rose needs to be coaxed out with some warmth on your skin, without which it is hardly present. Definitely one that’s made for sunshine, not shadows.

This fragrance reminds me why I hate the label 'unisex'. This is a masculine scent and should be marketed as such. I tried it on before heading out for the afternoon and was dismayed to see how it shifted to a cologne as the day wore on. But I have to say- it isn't a bad fragrance. The orange note is really pronounced and smooth. I do recommend this to a man looking for something more cosmopolitan.

I've been raised between oranges and this parfum has that smell from hands after working out orange peel: great quality ingredients. The parfum itself it's not my taste, but probably it's the best orange parfum I've smelled. I am pretty sure it has some kumquat also (or maybe it's a true to life astringence from clementine/orange combined with tarragon). Tested on discovery set.

It's a powered-up Eau Sauvage. Real good one except the tarragon is destroying the overall feel-good theme for me. I feel that PdE Azemour is a better experience than this one, if you like the genre. Still, quite good and the herbal sharpness mainly from tarragon may appeal to you, so worth a try. It's a very smooth, real quality juice.

I like this a lot. Starts out very orange forward as one might expect and as the orange recedes, it reveals the rose/patchouli accords which are quite lovely. Not the most complex fragrance ever, but the ingredient quality is UNDENIABLE, and there is nothing out of place about this fragrance. Not cheap, but might be FB buy anyway.

This is Concentré d'Orange Verte Hermès minus the sweatness in Hermes. It could be called a clone. I do not see the similarity with Azemmour. Azemmour is about the whole orangeraie : orange, spices, branches, earth. Chypre azural, like Orange verte is only about the orange.

This is pleasant but a bit of a non-starter for anyone that needs complexity in their perfumes. Not anything out of the ordinary. But it is a lovely, well-constructed perfume and surely someone out there will find this to be a perfect background scent.

I guess if you really squint, you can sorta make out the shape of a chypre, but it’s mostly just orange and patchouli. That being said it’s quite a lovely orange and very high quality.

Orange rind and tarragon with a non-mature smelling patchouli base, does not project at all.

Les Indemodables loves oranges. They also seem to love misnaming their perfumes. This is not a chypre, it's an orange amber. That's a minor aside because the amber part of CA is so lightly amber that it sort-of gives the effect of a chypre but without any of the chypre notes. The other part is you get what you expect out of Les Indemodables, which is a perfume made with excellent materials; they are pristine in their clarity and quality. The orange note runs from the top to the base of the perfume, which is remarkable in itself. But I don't like the orange note. It is so oily, rind-y, and bitter that it smells like an orange furniture polish. When paired with the tarragon up top it works quite nicely, the herbal note doing wonders to lift the orange note into the air with a freshness and cleanliness that is really beautiful. But that all fades very quickly to the heart and base where you become stuck with the orange note, some patchouli, and wisps of an amber accord that - again - in summation is too "furniture polish" smelling for me. The orange is devoid of all of the piquancy and citrusy-sour-freshness that gives it life and levity. I guess this is supposed to smell of a type of Sicilian orange, one that smells very underripe, oily, and bitter; be that as it may, I've never smelled this particular orange in real life before, and if Les Indemodables succeeded in capturing it, well then I must admit I have very little desire to smell it again little alone eat it. It's a very well-done perfume, but it's definitely not for me. Though better performing in terms of longevity and sustaining the orange note it is, I cannot picture myself ever wanting to replace Eau d'Orange Verte, Arancia di Capri, Azemour Les Orangers, Fleurs d'Oranger, This is Not a Blue Bottle 1.6, Orange Star, Mandarino di Amalfi - hmmm, yeah, ok, now that I'm pulling those orange-centric perfumes from my memory bank and my cabinets, and I'm barely down the list yet of orange perfumes I like better, I'm definitely thinking this is a no for me.

Extremely dry, bitter greens with a spritz of orange. Grassy, mossy, herbal, has a faint floral touch and ambery undertones. Moderate projection fades over 2-3hr, longevity 8-10hr. Kinda reminds me of the deep drydown of Xerjoff Nio, at the point where the citruses have died down a bit and the green accords start taking prominence. I can agree with the Hermes only to the point I smelled it once in passing at a store.

Love this house and I appreciate the amber note that reminds me of several of their other fragrances. To my nose and on my skin this is just an orange bomb. A very good juicy orange... rind and pith and juice. I don’t get the Fanta or synthetic attachments others note. But a bit too linear for me, so even with its good performance it won’t be bottle worthy.

not cup of my tea.. i think :) very similar to Oman luxury Overdose.. its smell like someone pealed the orange its hands smell gross...! i need more time to understand this fragrance.. ! 5/10

Juicy orange cologne with staying power. The chypre aspect was very subdued.

Take note: the full bottle I recently received is very different from the sample in my sample set. The tarragon is almost non existent, and the citrus at the top is significantly less zesty. It does not have the freshness of the older sample, and the top to middle notes suffer enormously because of this. To my mind, this type of perfume (a summer 'cologne', a 'freshie' of sorts) needs this freshness. Les Indémodables agreed that they are different-but not enough to cause them concern. Well, I would not have bought this bottle if I had known there was such a difference. They offered a free sample of their next perfume which I declined. It's a very expensive way to learn not to trust a sample, and also not to expect a company to give a damn. I understand that the natural substances used in perfumes change from year to year, but if they change in such a way that the sample does not match the bottle, then I cannot trust you with almost £200 for 50ml. EDIT: Rémi just offered the Grand Crus materials box with my next purchase, which seems a bit fairer. That said, having to buy another product in order to receive some kind of compensation isn't really compensation.

Chypre Azural is remarkable in the sense that Dubois was able to perform the perfumery sleight-of-hand involved in creating a longlasting citrus accord, in this case a very sharp, bitter, astringent orange rind accord which remains fairly linear for a few hours, quite reminiscent of the essential oil remaining on one's fingers after roughly opening an orange to eat. This scent always annoys me, so I find C.A. unrelentingly unpleasant – and this is speaking as a citrus accord lover. The far drydown is a lovely oakmoss amber accord but getting there is far from worth it.

Something like a cleaner and cooler version of Azemour Les Orangers. Very very overpriced. $250+ for 50ml is insane. The scent is good at first but on the drydown it develops a balsamic note which I don't like, sort of reminiscent of Versace Blue Jeans. Odd. Azemour is a better composition with better performance for about $95. Test before buying of course, it's a bit dirtier than this.

Chypre Azural is mainly the scent of a freshly cut citrus zest magnified to the point when it makes me think of cleansing agents at times. I am simply missing something that would calm down/ anchor the freshness in some way because these types of linear aromatic scents induce headaches to me.

Tide powder detergent. Musty tarragon. Bitter orange pith. Vintage/dated style that I can’t see anyone under 50 wearing. Let’s remember, millenials are approaching their 40’s and they ain’t wearing this shit. This is grandma’s bridge club on Tuesday night. 3/10
