Patchouli Noisette

Patchouli is pretty much the only star here, and Les Indemodables have teased and cajoled facets from it I've not experienced before. This opens with a sweetness that seems almost like berries soaked in some kind of sweet liqueur, yet an earthy woodiness, verging on dank, lurks in the background. And while we're on a roll, how about a tree-sappy resinous touch that hints at sharp-camphorous. The only thing a fail to get is hazelnut as an obvious odour. As things dry down (which it does in a fairly linear fashion) the deepness of the blend, the angles, each of the aforementioned facets, are smoothed out by a soft blanket of creaminess.... The hazelnut effect? Anyhow, I am impressed. A solitary note taken simultaneously in multiple directions, yet resolving itself into a very, very wearable whole. Long lasting, interesting, and what will certainly make for a stupendous Winter-wear! Tested from the official Les Indemodables fragrance sample set (super value for money!)

It's great after the opening phase, where it turns more constant. I can then get the noisette in its green version (like scratching the coating of some nut, maybe a crude chestnut), not very gourmand (but cacao is still noticeable), blended with an elegant and clean patchouli (and probably many synthetics including akigalawood or similar?) this phase is amazing. Patchouli is not musty and lacks the earthiness from the natural one. It has moderate sillage. Sticks to clothing intensely until the next day. I get at the beginning a strong spicy note, which for me overshadows the patchouli, and it's too similar to many niche parfums launched last 2-3 years. After some uses, I think it's a great perfume, strong, with character, could by one, but still it's pretty expensive and I would have liked some more classic earthy patchouli feeling. I am surprised by the greeness though.

Love this! Best from the house on my skin. On paper, some of the others caught my attention, but they were very different on wearing. On paper, this is just a really nice patchouli. But on my skin, it is so clean and creamy with an underlying nuttiness and faint vanilla in the far background. My skin sweetens everything up. 3 hours into the dry down, it becomes more of a gourmand scent. I get whiffs of cinnamon-spiced sweetness in the air even tho it’s still patch up close. Hour 5 it’s full on patchouli dessert mode. Not sweet, but it morphs into more of a “fruity accord with cinnamon wrapped in a pastry.” Wonderful surprise. I love it.

This is lovely. At first you can get fooled by it and perceive it as an easy to like patchouli forward fragrance, especially if you smell it up close. However, if you wear it or smell it in the air the hazelnut is very much prominent. It adds a nutty, slightly sweet facet to the patchouli. Haven’t smelled that twist on a patchouli fragrance before.

Patchouli is one of those accords that I'm impartial to. I can take it or leave it. Of what seems like the hundreds of patchouli-focused perfumes I've tried over many, many years, there are very, very few, less than 10, that I can recall quickly that have moved me to the point of wanting them, and even fewer that have made it into my full bottle collection. I'm sure there are several more I thought were/are quite good, but patchouli is such a forgettable and all-too-frequently mishandled accord for me that I'm not going to spend a significant amount of time or effort trying to recall more. I suppose I'm just very sensitive to it. Les Indemodables might have given us one more that I could add to that very small list of mine. Although, to my nose, what makes this perfume truly notable is not the patchouli, but the noisette (hazelnut). This perfume is very straightforward, it's all hazelnut and patchouli, so there will not be much for me to say about it. The patchouli in PN is superbly well balanced. Most patchoulis are either too sweet and gourmand, or too dirty and earthy, or too green and camphoraceous. When a patchouli accord is too much of any of those characteristics, to my nose it becomes very off-putting and a "bad patchouli". Unlike, say, citrus, which can go the route of sour and acidic, or to the other end of the spectrum and be juicy and sugary sweet, with any extreme I can like it well enough. With patchouli I do not like it when at any extreme; it absolutely needs to be balanced. In PN, it's superbly balanced: not too sweet, not too dirty, not too green, just the right amount of pepper, just the right amount of cured tobacco type notes, just the right amount of grassy and hay like notes. So, it's a very lovely patchouli accord in a sea of perfumes with bad patchouli accords. It gets a lot of points in my book for that reason. But that doesn't make it particularly notable. The second and primary reason for really being taken with this perfume is the hazelnut accord at the top. At no point is this hazelnut sweet, which nearly all perfumes try to present it as, nor is it overly bitter and chemically, which it frequently comes across as too. Again, going back to balance, the hazelnut is perfectly nutty and fatty, a bit woody, and a bit sweet and caramelly but naturally so. I very nearly see the creamy whiteness of hazelnut when I smell the opening of PN. String the hazelnut and the patchouli together and you get a perfume that is very simple to the point of basically being linear, but the quality of the ingredients, and the technical care gone into blending them, are so good it doesn't need to be multifaceted and complex. This is excellent, and might be joining the very small rank of patchouli perfumes in my collection very soon.

#573 in my "Tour de Fragrance" I'm closing in on 600 scents I've evaluated and I've encountered nothing like this, but that's probably because it never occurred to me to select a patchouli forward scent. I must have over 100 scents on the shelf that have patchouli as a note, but not as the main feature of the scent. I have no experience with any of the scents in the "Reminds me of" section as it never occurred to me I'd wear a scent that's patchouli focused like any of those listed. I can't help associating the smell of patchouli with aging sixties hippie chicks and houses perfumed with bowls of potpourri. I just need to get over it, because this is very unique, and depending on the reaction I get, I may wear this more often than I would have thought. The hazelnut scent is more one of unripe hazelnuts, not ready to roast and eat. The patchouli leaf scent is as green as green gets. My feelings about this keep swinging back and forth between feminine and masculine, but I think it's more for men. It's not quite the sort of chypre we experienced in the 80's, but to me it's very much in that ballpark. I am not saying this smells like a clone of any of the scents I am about to list, but if you like any of these, you'll probably like this "Patchouli Noisette": Geoffrey Beene Bowling Green, Colors de Benneton Man, Chanel Pour Monsieur, Xerjoff Fiero, Dior Eau Sauvage, Lomani Pour Homme, Drakkar Noir, Gucci Nobile, Houbigant Duc De Verins, Alfred Sung Homme. This stuff is less complex than many I've just listed, but this would fit on the shelf of anyone that also has any of those scents. It's in that wheelhouse. This stuff projects, mightily, so not for close spaces. I did one tiny little spritz and my office is patchouli and ambergris wall-to-wall. It's not obnoxious after about fifteen minutes, but it ain't goin' nowhere no time soon. So I probably would wear this on a day when I'm sitting outdoors at a restaurant or coffee shop. In the car only if it's a convertible or you can have the windows down. Never in the office unless it's an open plan.

It’s a clean almost sterilized patchouli with a hazelnut gourmand touch. I find it quite sexy which isn’t typical with Les Indemodables. Many of their perfumes seem to be showcases of ingredients from their lab. This is interesting a little intimate I prefer a pronounced sillage but it’s not bad. The price point €220 euros for 50ml on the website is already high I believe our local retailer is selling for around $290. TBH that’s ridiculous at least make it a 100ml format for that amount or $200 for the 50ml. It is really close to Serge Lutens’ bell jars and Chanel Les Exclusif prices and both those are 75ml while also to be frank more appealing to me personally scent wise. I even got this on offer from a GCC wholesaler at €150 while the 100ML Frederic Malle range was only €10 more except for POAL and desert gems. Brand needs to revisit pricing and bottle sizes. Do a 30ml at $100 and 100ml at $220. That’s fair enough pricing. My friends that tested the brand also came to similar conclusions of pretty perfumes but not gut moving making you splurge coupled with very high pricing.

شروع عطر با فضای درهم و برهم و الکلی که بوی ناخوشایند دارویی بهم می‌داد مثل زمان ای که نُت قهوه یا شکلات توی عطر باشه،من رو پس زد البته این فضا خیلی ماندگار نبود و بعد از 6 7 دقیقه کم رنگ شد دفعه اول بدون دیدن نُت های عطر تست اش کردم و دفعات بعد هم با اطلاع از نت ها؛ در نهایت هیچ وقت بوی فندق رو نگرفتم ازش یعنی نه خبری از بوی آجیلی،برشته،دودی فندق بود و نه اون طعم فندق تازه شیرینی عطر به نظرم چیزی شبیه به تونکا و مُشک بود خصوصا وقتی به پایان عطر می‌رسیم این بوی پودری و نرم بیشتر حس میشه و یادآورد تونکا و مُشک بود برام اما پچولی چهره‌ی سبز و بدون خشونت ای رو نشون میده اصلا زمخت و علفی نیست انگار صیقل خورده و شیرین شده نمی‌دونم این شیرینی از جنس خود پچولی هست یا تاثیر نت فندق که می‌خواسته فندق تازه رو بازسازی کنه اما هرچی که هست این شیرینی به مرور به سمت خاکی و پودری شدن میره اما بسیار کنترل شده و همون تونکایی ابدا من رو با این قیمت و حجم و رایحه ترغیب به خرید نکرد اما پرفورمنس بسیار خوب ای داره و پررنگ ترین نکته‌ی مثبت عطره *************** scent:7/10 longevity:10/10 sillage:9.5/10 purchase value:2.5/10 ********* overall:7.2/10

I’m a big fan of patchouli perfumes, when they’re done right, and Patchouli Noisette is a brilliant one. I wouldn’t go as far to say it’s among the best of the best, but it’s pretty damn close and you could do a lot worse. It beautifully celebrates this wonderfully divisive material. It starts off instantly quite dank and earthy with a sour herbal tinge, which soon becomes smoother, almost creamy, inky and chocolatey with a pronounced sharp nuttiness. The dry herbal facet persists, as does the sharpness which contrasts the darker aspects very well. Patchouli is part of the mint family and you definitely get that here, it doesn’t smell particularly minty but there’s a definite sharpness to it. I’m really enjoying wearing this but I do wish it had something additional to expand upon the scent profile further. Although I have a feeling this might grow on me.

Les Indemodables' whole thing as a house is their use of naturals, which explains why Patchouli Noisette comes the closest to just straight patchouli oil of any alcohol-based fragrance I've tried. If you prefer a chocolate-y patchouli over the smell of the straight botanical, almost minty patchouli essence of oil, then this might not be for you. Also VERY strong until pretty far into the drydown (also like patchouli oil).

All I could smell in the beginning was amber and a heavy dose of cypriol. As time goes by this sweet chocolatey patchouli comes upfront. To be honest I enjoyed the wearing experience. The notes here can be misleading though

This is so slept on. An absolute masterpiece of a patchouli fragrance. Unbelievably balanced with a chocolate accord from the hazelnut. It’s also an amazing performer. Going to add this right alongside Vanille Havane. 9/10

Opens as an earthy, dirty patchouli that turns medicinal on my skin. As it dries down, the hazelnut begins to come forth. Quality juice, and long lasting. Not my thing though.

Patchouli Bomb ! It is a Linear Patchouli Fragrance, In my opinion, It has high quality but It is not special . The Patchouli note is dominant in this perfume, It is too heavy and boring. I tried it in store and I received a sample of that. It is very Expensive , There are better Complex Patchouli perfumes in the market with reasonable price. This is not my cup of Tea, because It is heady and strong, I prefer Complex perfumes. Longevity is very good. Rating : 7 / 10

I wonder if I got the wrong sample as I'm getting a rose oud, the type that has been done to death, shades of Oud Ispahan, that bottle of Banana Republic Oud Mosaic I gave away. Confused. There's definitely a pachouli facet, some synthetic woody amber, and rose. I guess I was expecting in the vein of Diptyque Tempo or SL Borneo, but hazelnut instead of cacao.

Perhaps my favorite fragrance house but among my least favorite from them. Getting a harsh note (cypriol) followed by a strongly feminine perfumy floral rose upfront. Settled in 10-15 min. I get some camphor, earth, woody, deep, smoky but it’s a mess. More minty green than funky.

Agree first few moments recall POAL, but then this turns too sweet on my skin.

Firstly, I am fan of the brand, I have friends who share this affection and others who do not. I own both Fougere Emeraude and Vanille Havane, which I love. I was excited by this release, specifically with the idea of noisette, or hazelnut. I smelled it with a friend for the first time and I was instantly perplexed. I sprayed it again, making sure I had sprayed the right perfume. Well... First smell I was greeted with was cypriol, and a lot of it. Then a sweet rose and a harsh, bitter woody amber note. This was not what I was expecting, and it took me by surprise. I still have doubts and think, am I smelling the right thing? This mix of notes instantly bring my mind to middle-eastern style perfumes. This perfume smells, to me, like a Harrods faux-oud exclusive. It’s been nearly two weeks and I have pondered on this perfume. I may be somewhat in denial as I like the brand, A LOT. The patchouli is nothing special and is dosed to a similar level to any rose-oud style perfume out there as a supportive note. Compared with lovely patchouli materials such as Patchouli Coeur, which is enriched in patchoulol, a beautiful warm complex note, this patchouli is a bit lacklustre to be completely honest. The hazelnut is non-existent. I hazard a bet that without the power of suggestion (very powerful tool in smell perception), no one would point this note out! If there is a hazelnut note in here, it’s lost. Overall, I am disappointed. I like the brand and gave this one a lot of chances in the hope I was wrong. But I can only be honest with myself, this is my least favourite from the brand and as a concept it has raised my eyebrows to the point they have left my head and are floating around in deep space somewhere. What type of release is this? Is it a middle eastern style/targeted perfume in disguise or is it just an unfortunate miss. I will still look forward to future releases from the brand because I like them and you don’t have to like everything a brand produces. I am sure many will enjoy this. But I find it a cheeky release to put it politely. Not for me.

I am disappointed. From the start we are greeted with syrupy amber accord with something else I can't pinpoint (rose maybe?). Not a fan of the opening. Then slowly, as a mid notes, come patchouli with touch of hazelnut and right at this moment the fragrance shines and is most similar to Patchouli Mania. After +-2h, the drydown hits and all I detect is just patchouli and crapload of cashmeran. Base smells cheap, sadly. Overall, I find Essential Parfums Patchouli Mania a superior "patchouli + nuts" fragrance, despite it being quite synthetic. The scent is more interesting with supporting notes of tea and coriander, the hazelnut accord plays much larger role than here, the longevity and projection is better, plus the price is actually great. I highly recommend checking Patchouli Mania. Patchouli Noisette is just ok for me, but given the price point I lower the rating

Never again will I experience such a relentless big hitter without the respect to go easy. This fragrance provided me with the biggest dose of a dry patchouli I’ve ever experienced. It is not a quitter and my personal experience was to find it a little headachy. I couldn’t find sweetness but I do love Babycat so my tolerance is very high. I found the patchouli so relentless that, on me, the hazelnut is barely discernible after hours of wearing. I appreciate that fragrance is such a subjective experience, especially on skin but a sample was a wise move and if it does not calm down soon I’m going to shower. Its quality is not in question though, try it first 😝

So much talk about the hazelnuts, but theyre nowhere to be found! Vetiver Tonka or Aimez Moi je suis if you want something better.

So I tested Patchouli Noisette, I read Eddie's review here on this page. Being a big fan, honestly I couldn't relate to what I was reading. The writeup was informative for sure especially when he mentioned the special extraction methods adopted by the house and the special ingredient in this frag. "Patchouli has been combined with an exclusive ingredient used for the very first time in perfumery: the ultrasound extract of Hazelnut from Piémont, Italy, designed internally". Then I turned to comments here and I almost jumped for joy when I saw Jura's comment down below. This is what I smell when I spray Patchouli Noisette, using his/her words: "First smell I was greeted with was cypriol, and a lot of it. Then a sweet rose and a harsh, bitter woody amber note. This was not what I was expecting, and it took me by surprise." Oh man it's so nice to find like-nosed people. After that heavy woody-ambery beginning with that cameo role played by rose, Patchouli sets foot on the ambery stage, meaning that I feel the sweetly medicinal amberiness all along. Patchouli is fairly sweet as mentioned before , reminiscent of Psychedelique by Jovoy perhaps but definitely far more understated, and green all over and woody-and-a-tad-oudy for sure. And it quite remains the same. Noisette is a bit n'importe quoi meaning that it is there and it's not there. If you didn't know it was there, its presence would never even come to mind. It is a patchouli scent that is quite easy to wear, it's high quality and performance-wise satisfactory. I can't say this all justifies the price. I have to spend some more time with it and see whether I can bond with it The way I did with Psychedelique.

پچولی نوئزت همکاری دیگری از آنتوان لی و ل زوندی مودابل اسمش مثل رایحه اش سادست پچولیه فندقی چند وقتیه نت فندوق تو ترکیبات عطرها زیاد دیده میشه اکثرا هم در کنار وتیوره ولی اینبار در کنار پچولی اومده این جدیدترین عطر برنده اگه برای شما این عطر رو تست کنند بدون داده های اطلاعاتی محال ممکنه ذهنتون به بوی فندق نزدیک بشه . منظور حس آجیلی بوی فندقه خب تو این هیچ درکی از بوی فندق و حس آجیلی وجود نداره . اما طبق داده های سایت جوس این عطر حاوی 20% درصد از اسنس فندق سبز ایتالیایی با روش اولتر سوند هست . بعدا در مورد این تکنیک استخراج اسنس صحبت خواهم کرد . وقتی پچولی نوئزت رو اسپری میکنید در شروع بویی سبز و تیز و دارویی مانند به مشام میرسه . مثل بوی آزمایشگاه بیمارستانی انگار تو این عطر همه چی پالایش و تصفیه شده از فندوق سبز و نارس تا پچولی که همه چیزش رو گرفتند نه حس کپکی و قارچی داره نه منتول . انگار ریشه های پچولی تازه رو از خاک دربیارید و بو کنید ‌ . سبز و مرطوب و کمی خاکی ادعای بزرگ برند مبنی بر بکار گیری 35% اسنس پچولی اندونزیایی غلو نیست . پخش بو و حضور بی امان حس سبز و باطراوت پچولی در این عطر تا ساعتها گواه این ادعاست . تو قلب عطر تنها چیزی که تغییر می‌کنه کم شدن بوی دارو مانند پچولیه و اضافه شدن کور بویی فروتی و‌شیرین . اما اون چیزی که تا ساعتها حضور پررنگ و سبزی داره پچولییه از نوع تمیز و پالایش شده . پچولی نوئزت رایحه یکنواخت و ساده ای داره سبز و لخته ولی زیباست . رایحه زیادی تمیز و صیقل خورده و فیلتر شده هست . ولی خب پچولی همیشه عاشقان سینه چاک زیاد داره اما باید بدونید خبری از اون پروفایل بویایی پیچیده قارچی و کپکی و بوی مرسوم پچولی تو عطر خبری نیست کیفیت عطر واقعا بالاست . بسیار واقع‌گرا و نچرال و پرفرومنس این عطر بسیار عالیه .

A very elegant, classy, and refined patchouli. As a material, patchouli can be brutal (Patchouli 1969 by Maitre Parfumeur), dark (Bond T by Sammarco), intense in a certain sense; it can be camphoraceous (Patchouli by SMN) or green or earthy and a bit dirty (vintage Borneo 1834 by Lutens). Here Les Indemodables striked a balance with the elements that they do not list in their pyramid: the right amount of pepper, a little bit of cured tobacco, some earthy and grassy tones. But the innovative touch is the ultrasound hazelnut extract: not a common hazelnut, but "nocciola" from Piedmont, Italy. You heard about Nutella? at least when my father was a chiled they were using this variety of nut: it is slightly bitter, with pralinate undertones, a little bit spicy and imperceptibly leathery. It imparts also a certain dusty quality to the composition and it is a very welcome departure from the classical theme of patchouli-cocoa. Antoine Lie stroke a balance here like in a duet in a opera: teh patchouli and the hazelnut both sing without overpowering, but in fact complementing the olfactory profile of the other. Leaving a review after I purchased the sample pack. Not leaving a star rating because I don’t like patchouliI, but I imagine if you like patchouli, you’ll love this. This is a perplexing fragrance for me. From 6 inches away it smells amazing, beautiful amber accord with a touch of sweetness, which I think this is coming from the hazelnut. When I stick my nose to my shirt I get a very dirty, almost fungal patch, which I can’t stand. I think this is great for people who will like patchouli, because for someone who typically hates it, I’m not washing it off. ——————— Coming back a few hours later for the dry down. Absolutely beautiful. Still projecting on and off just sitting watching tv. Gorgeous amber scent with the patch more prominent. Still a lot more patch forward when I put my nose up to my shirt, but more of the good parts and not the bad. I think I’m gonna love this more over time. Would currently consider buying a bottle on a Black Friday level discount.

One person down there is getting raspberry, suede and cinnamon (?), the next is getting gourmand touches from the hazelnut and another gives two numbers and a slash. what on earth? I have no idea what some of you are smelling or if you even are bothering to sniff, but to me it is super earthy in texture and scent profile mainly from the two types of patchouli leaf and the cypriol, which seems to be maybe not turned up to eleven like with Promise from Frederic Malle but certainly gives it a strong, bold character and accentuates the bone dry, sombre patch. If I get ANY hazelnut - which is a big IF - it is more (a) in texture not so much scent, since for me there appears to be a dry crunch to this and (b) it is the absolute darkest, earthiest, most deep low down facets of a hazelnut. This is gorgeous stuff and again from Les Indemodables, on the surface it appears super simplistic but really there's more to it than meets the eye.

Opens up with that garbage dump patchouli variety that I get with Patchouli Ardent. You know how when sometimes you walk past a garbage dump and catch a whiff of the assortments of rotten fruits that turned sour? That kind of patchouli. Thankfully, it only lasts a few minutes. Once it calms down, it smells like a ‘blue’ fragrance to me. Not the kind where it’s loaded with synthetic smelling aroma chemicals a la Dylan Blue, but more of a grown up blue fragrance. Can’t detect any discernible hazelnuts. I quite like it. Don’t find it polarizing once it dries other than the very first minute or two on initial spray. I think it’s good.

I knew I’d have nothing awesome stuff to say about this, But it seriously falls short of other patchouli scents in the same ballpark...When applied I got that strong cakey chocolaty type patchouli that I love! It reminded me of two I own being Profumum Roma Patchouli & Jovoy psychedelic. This went away “way” quicker than the other two and knew it was starting to leave me in an hour.. This is expensive for 50ml So I was expecting something serious, But nope!! It’s definitely less superior of a patchouli fragrance next to the the two mentioned above that come in 100ml for the same price or cheaper!! It wasn’t even as good

Smelled amazing in the store when I smelled the atomizer (not indicative of the full fragrance of course but good for an impression): I got hazelnut and clean green patchouli. On skin I liked it at first but the tenacity was a little too strong for me, and the drydown is very reminiscent of masculine designer fragrances/department store fragrances in that ambroxan musky "blue" kind of way. The hazelnut and patchouli are the best parts of this fragrance but for me got overpowered but the other synthetics.

What’s hurting this scent is its price for what you get. But what you do get is gorgeous. Though I use my sample as a base under others I want to beef up every now n then. The sample set samples are super generous so that’s good at least. But the scent itself is so unique to my experience perfume testing. Sweet and salty hazelnut and a mild dark chocolate patchouli is pretty simple but divine. Ur just insane to ask me to pay so much for it when other scents at that price are doing cartwheels around it

One thing I can't stand is reviews that go on over and over. Lines and lines... Do you actually read them? I don't. This is a great patchouli fragrance. Very dry but not very earthy. Hazelnut is not something I would associate with gourmand. Not sure why people expect a gourmand fragrance 🤔 The quality is ultimate as you can expect from this house. Great stuff. So far, my favorite from the house. The crazy thing, this is similar to Sauvage Elixir. Both extremely similar in the dry down. It's not a bad thing because Sauvage Elixir is actually pretty good, but this isn't as loud in the dry down, and that's a great thing. Tad sweet, and earthy. Worth a own if you're a patchouli fan, but the price tag for a 50ml is suspect. There's lavender in here...gotta be

I’m not good at describing patchouli scents but I love this because it’s not musty at all. It’s quite fresh and mellow. It’s natural smelling and well blended. This would be a good patchouli for someone who doesn’t want to smell like an old man (not that there’s anything wrong with that!) there’s also something kind of loamy in this. This is pretty unisex but maybe leans a little masculine.

Peegore's review pretty much describes my experience with this fragrance, but I will add that in the very, very beginning of the opening, the combination of patchouli with the impression of berries reminds me of Portrait of a Lady; but this similarity doesn't last long. Another excellent, multifaceted offering from this house.

I just got sent a random sample of this. All I knew was it's patchouli based. I like patchouli, and I have some great ones. But this excited me. It was something very unique and pleasant with the patchouli. So I looked it up here and found hazelnut. It didn't smell foody or nutty off the bat... But this is nice. Worth a try.

I’ve come to the conclusion that this fragrance is simply unfinished, and too strong for the lack of complexity in the overall composition. At the end of the day, a single hazelnut extract cannot hold up an entire fragrance on its shoulders especially when you add loads of harsh detergent white musk.

Raspberry, suede, cinnamon, saffron oud accord, patchouli and sandalwood. Was expecting some sort of gourmand patchouli but instead got a very arabian-themed scent in the style of Al Faransi (AKA Anthony Marmin). Wears very pleasant and softly but with a powerful presence.

Nice inoffensive sweet patchouli with all its facets, the hazelnut is very subtle and doesn't come of as outwardly nutty, this is the best raw patchouli scent I've tried, unlike Essential Parfum's screechy mess. Mediocre performance

جزو ۵ پچولی برتر. واقعا خوشبو و زیباست. فوق‌العاده بازخوردآور و بی‌نظیر. تا تست نکنید متوجه نمی‌شید. ممکنه از نزدیک که بو می‌کنید خوشتون نیاد و یا اولش براتون یکم زیادی آجیلی باشه ولی خب در کل محشره.

My experience is along the lines of what @sphynxcat or @Farrque describes. Oud, maybe super-amber, maybe saffron? Can't find the patchouli.

Delicious patchouli fragrance. Nutella and patchouli in perfect harmony. Smells pretty edible. I think of cake whenever I wear this.,

This smells like Versace Dylan Blue, almost exactly. And it's so sad considering the pricetag.

Sickly sweet...ugh...patchouli is too strong. I think I only like it in very small doses.

I agree with everything Peegore has said. I will only add that it is extremely lovely!
