Fleuve Tendre

Emotion, passion and sorcery... Fleuve Tendre is a fragrance that's hard to describe, but I'll do my best. It's like a freak show of a fragrance, constantly changing from the moment I first spray it until it dries down. It opens with fresh spices hitting your nose. The clean, sometimes slightly dirty musk is constantly there. I can also feel a very light, faint hint of tonka bean. The woody/vetiver base is quite soft and sensual. When I first saw the note breakdown, I thought this was just another ordinary “blue” fragrance but I couldn't have been more wrong; I underestimated this fragrance. I must say that it didn't really impress me when I first smelled it. But when I found myself reaching for Fleuve Tendre without even thinking about it, that's when I realized I was hooked. I often see it compared to Cartier Declaration. If that were the case, I could say something silly like all musky, fresh spicy fragrances are the same. They are both the same type of fragrance but quite different from each other. Fleuve Tendre reminds me more of another fragrance by Sonia Constant, Narciso Rodriguez Bleu Noir EDP. While Bleu Noir is the well-behaved child of the family, Fleuve Tendre is the one who cares about nothing but “cakes and ale.” It reminds me a lot of Bosch's painting "The Garden of Earthly Delights". Fleuve Tendre is a fragrance that stands out from other fresh fragrances in its own way. Simple but beautiful. Balanced and not excessive. Like the skin of a lover after intimate moments that invites you to bury your face in it and take a deep breath. Quite versatile also. Good for four seasons. Unisex. Your skin but better. Try it first, because it's not a fragrance for everyone.

For me, Fleuve Tendre is an incredibly romantic, captivating, and deeply sexy fragrance. I know it can be polarizing, and some people shy away from it because of the animalic notes, but I find it absolutely charming. The animalic element here is handled with such masterful restraint; it doesn’t scream or feel aggressive. Instead, it creates this beautiful sense of carnal intimacy that is so gently embraced and softened by a tender, dewy floral veil. It completely subverts the modern, commercial idea of what a "sexy" perfume should be. Rather than relying on sugary sweetness or harsh synthetic woods, it delivers something far more sophisticated and poetic. The transparent rose water and crisp geranium filter the raw, physical heat of the spiced suede and musk base. The result isn't feral or unwashed—it is the cozy, magnetic scent of warm, clean skin tangled in fresh sheets. It requires an appreciation for nuance, and on the right skin chemistry, the balance between human warmth and floral tenderness is pure magic.

I don't know why this fragrance doesn't get much attention, because it is simply incredible. Among all Liquides Imaginaires I'd tried this one captured my attention the most (along with Lunatique), the scent is so cozy and intimate, opens with a little splash of citruses which gradually drown into rose water with furry musk. The animalic notes remind me of wax from church candles for some reason, but simultaneously they smell so sexy combined with woody florals. I didn't even know about the notes when I first tried the fragrance, nevertheless it instantly grabbed my nose into it's warm cuddles and wouldn't let off. No other scent made me feel that way, I want my loved one to smell like that, go to the bedroom and kiss them until I'm unconscious. If you searched for soft and sexy animalics - definitely try this one, the brand suggests to spray it on naked body for a reason :3

I can describe it with only 1 word "Sorcery", from the presentation to the transitions of the scent, to the different openings you get on different surfaces, like paper, skin, clothes, they all take you to different places. I mean thinking to apply it on wood, steel and leather to see how it plays thn. The moment you open the box, it feels like that magical item everyone is trying to find in a movie that holds all the powers lol, like it comes in a nice rugged-ish pouch and then you take out a stunning blue bottle. You apply it on different materials to test and it gives you different powers. haha . P.S. it's a great entrance to understanding niche fragrances, this and Trussardi Riflesso have been the 2 fragrances that have made me understand what these fragrance gurus tell you about start, mid and notes etc. Given the price, it's MUST HAVE, in my opinion.

This one fakes you out a bit. You look at the bottle and think, "oh, it's blue, probably fresh or aquatic." It opens up as a kinda fresh, kinda clean, and vaguely spiced and floral scent. Very nice. As it begins to dry down, the cumin, musk, animalics, and incense take center stage, with the incense being the strongest of these scents to me. It maintains an airiness and soapiness the whole time, however. I think some people overstate the musks etc. as having an erotic or sensual association. I see it more as having a distinctly human smell in a way, like you just came from the gym and sprayed LV Imagination on or something. Go smell La Tsarine and you will know what a sexual perfume smells like. Good performance, good price on discounter sites. All-in-all, solid fragrance, and one that I may add to my rotation as an easy reach fragrance.

I'm telling the truth: I didn't expect it. I didn't expect a fragrance that, through its evolution, would describe a situation so perfectly. Another review of the perfume — and trust me, I have a trained nose and more than a hundred fragrances in my collection; I’m just a fragrance enthusiast. This perfume is one of the most luxurious scents you can ever experience. It’s extremely unique, very chic, and suitable for all seasons. Its longevity and projection are very good, but you should use 10 sprays. The fragrance is seductive with a mountain-like character and brings many compliments, especially after it settles down about 7 minutes after spraying. At that point, rose water, patchouli, amber, a light animalic note, and cardamom blend together beautifully with high purity. It works for both genders and is perfect for those who love to stand out.

Picture Amadeus (from the film) - dressed like a dandy but playfully naughty ... so coyly effete that you’ll lower your guard while he’s stealing your girl. @Cherry_Darling nailed this below, and I’ll be wearing it to the office year-round. It’s essentially a mass-appealing citrus/floral/musk with upmarket ingredients - somewhat masculine-leaning at first with the citrus, but unisex soon after, with just a subtle va-va-voom. Maybe one of the best all-rounders out there.

This fragrance and braces animal floral, and in my personal opinion, some aquatic notes it truly is a masterpiece and flips the industry on its head. What is Sexy is cardinal and **Real no synthetics embracing only are true beauty and animal nature it truly is a masterpiece.

It starts with a sweet candy and sugar water scent close to Parle Moi de Parfum’s Provence 89 then drys down to a niche alternative to Terre d’Hermes + Bleu de Chanel. lasts for forever on my skin and comes alive the warmer you get.. fbw for me.

This perfume is amazing, it is very fragrant, sexy and relaxing. It is one of the best perfumes of this house. Undoubtedly, do not doubt in buying it, you will fall in love with it

Could also be called 'Déclaration, Eau Animale'. The cardamom splendor of the Cartier fragrance enriched with a subtle erotic touch. Very nice work!

Before trying it, I expected a good fragrance but not this good, to be honest. This fragrance has the perfect scent profile you could expect from a fragrance. The magic of that is that it can appeal to everyone, whether you're a fan of creative, niche, or even mainstream fragrances. It's versatile yet unique and stands out from the crowd. The scent is very unique, starting with fresh mandarin citrus but not as you see on usual fragrances. Right after spraying, there is a storm of spices, very nice and very energetic. It's very spicy, to the point that it gives you a woody feeling. The vetiver in this fragrance is leathery smoky (almost burnt) and adds warmth and depth to the scent profile. What makes this fragrance so special to me, is the animalic notes. I love animalic notes, especially when you have them in a versatile fragrance like this. The fragrance has a similarity to Memo African Leather, but not quite similar. The overall scent has a warm rough texture and another thing I like about this fragrance is the contrast between the notes. Excellent job. 8/10

Fleuve Tendre is one of Liquides Imaginaires more safe blind buys. That said, it still has a uniqueness and depth that makes it an interesting scent. At first whiff the citrus hits, but the more time you give it, the more musky and subtly animalic it gets, while still giving space for the florals. The cardamom note is also very strong with this, like in several of LI's scents, and I think it works amazingly well. This is a light, feminine leaning musk. Not dirty in the slightest, while still having the edginess that musk brings. Not my favorite from them as it lacks the darkness many other of their scents have, but still a very good one.

I'm REALLY enjoying this one. As others have mentioned, it's a bit of a unique take on a citrus freshie. I had a dabber sample, and when I dabbed it on paper and skin it was mostly citruses and aromatic spices. However, when I transferred it to a spray atomizer I got the musk and animalic nuances. It's not overly animalic, and if the animalic accords could be described in terms of texture I would say they are like velvet. The fragrance is well-blended, and there's something a bit addictive about it. Leans more masculine IMO and has fantastic performance. A strong like for me!

Complex scent, that transforms during time. Spices are headnotes and they come off as a sparkling explosion: brilliant, but soon toned down. When they settle, orange becomes predominant, and it's really juicy and fresh. Vetiver and nutmeg give backbone to the structure. But after this... the heart is quite animalic. Very tamed, very fresh... but animalic, still. It's a really interesting contrast: the animalic side matures over time. Fascinating scent. Definitely unisex.

Ok The concept is intriguing The bottle and presentation is out of this world Did I mention how beautiful the juice is BUT...... It doesn’t deliver as it shows It’s a floral aquatic I would’ve appreciated more aquatics than florals But you don’t always get what you want And it lasts for a long time After trying this as the second fragrance from this brand I respect their efforts

You know how people say that some fragrances smell sexy? Well, this one smells like actual sex. A bit sticky, a bit dirty, a bit tiring, and pretty hot. And with regard to the comment above: if you can't tell the difference between Declaration de Cartier and this, just get into Warhammer or something - no point in spending money on fragrances.

This is both refreshing and animalistic. Generic but with a new twist. It smells like a cold, dark gay bar in a north European capital, full of young men, dressed up in Givenchy and Acne Studios, talking and drinking. The smell of a cold meat market atmosphere. If a song could represent it well is would probably be N'importe quoi by Chaton.

Mixed reviews here, so mine will probably only make a bigger mess: it's fluffy, soft and sort of coquettish. It's not a dirty animalic, it's a furry animalic if at all. A powdery pink bottle would make a better fit here in my opinion.

Fresh musky spicy Perfum. It’s All season, unisex and wearable at any occasion by any style. Enjoyable soft sweet friendly scent. Longevity: perfect Projection: good Age: any Multi purpose. Highly recommended.👌

Anyone else having performance issues with this one?? Lasts about 2-3 hours with minimal projection. Such a shame because I really do like it and could easily become my signature scent.

Dirty animalic Marseilles soap with the perfect amount of mandarin. oh you thought it couldn't be done? the dirtiest soapy scent I've encountered and i'm v into it.

This is fresh and clean, like a mainstream fragrance but better done. This perfume made me notice that a basic fragrance can be excellent and smell really good too.

Nice mossy freshness. However after some time when smelled close I get a urinal vibe - which is a turn-down.

A completely redundant purchase if you own Cartier Decalaration.

Who are these people writing gloaming reviews about this fragrance? Well, notice most of them like or love everything, so not to be trusted. Sadly, it seems like Fragrantica has become a wasteland full of trolls, Arab garbage promoters and AI generated reviews. As for the fragrance, I decided to sample as I was looking for something similar to Voyage EDP with better performance. It turns out, this one is a run-of-the-mill powdery animalic musk with some faint saffron/rose/geranium and tea-like combo. Feels very disjointed and rough during the opening, turning more coherent towards the drydown. A pass for me. For a Sonia Constant creation, it is unremarkable and nothing like the precious Hermes' Voyage EDP. My search continues!

Calling it 'the dirtiest soapy scent' really captures its essence on me. It's like a mixture of very exclusive soap with all these skunk animalic notes. So intensive it gives me an instant headache, with nausea and all the migraine stuff. I wanted to love it so much that I'll probably give it another try. At this point, after 2 tests, I'd never call it sexy or airy or aquatic. Perhaps all the magic happens in the trail and you cannot sniff it too close to skin. Otherwise, it exhausts all your senses in seconds.

Very basic and cheap smelling citrusy-musk. Even animalic notes couldn't save it :( It feels weird and nuts in the presence of so many calmer notes.

This is too headache inducing as it settle, at the drydown I got a plasticky/lipsticky/industrial note?? Doesn't sit well for me you do smell that Civet and Cumin in here that has enhances the farty body odour smell, risky and not a safe blind buy at all. This is NOT similar to LV Imagination

In the top I was intrigued. Now I'm at the heart and I can not stand it. One of the worst I've ever smelled. Very hard, with some weird urinal piquant smell. I think it's the civit mixed with the incense. Def not for me!

ill update this later with a more detailed review as i just recieved this but initial impression after recieving this is. This very fluffy, aquatic, very very slightly animalic however i probably only picked up on it because i read the notes so thoroughly before purchasing. unisex safe scent, to me its also slghtly metallic, and earthy, i pick up a hint of a dirt like blended note in here. packaged extremely well and luxurious. I just wore this out to the shops and over here its just been raining and in this after rain damp almost cold weather it smells AMAZING. so far silliage and longetivity is good however its only been an hour or two since spraying so i wouldnt take that into account yet. i think if you enjoy smells like, the rainforest or damp areas, or wet earth or petrichor you could really like this fragrance. as it is quite reminiscent of those scenarios to me. Update - few hours later silliage and longetivity still going good, i find in heat this is almost pungent still good but heat brings the animalic qualities out as well as smelling it up close although smelling it in the air and furthing from the skin is deffinetaly a more pleasent expericne, also this smells different on paper than skin, so be aware.

This is a youthful, unisex, sparkling and very bright scent for summer daytime. A casual fragrance with great versatility. Still it's not something new but it is very well blended. Dominant notes are orange juice, the big boss, a very natural vibe. Mild cardamom, I get the connection between this and Cartier Declaration & Hermès Voyage d`Hermes but the cardamom here is much toned down. So if you love this note, Fleuve Tendre is not the case. This is a natural fresh orange juice based scent. No sweetness, not anything artificial. Other noticeable notes are mild saffron, mild musk, corriander, geranium, very mild rose. I also get tiny traces of gin note or something boozy. I do not get civet or anything animalic. Moderate performance overall.

I really don't know why everybody calls it dirty-animalic, but for me its just a clean mandarin-clean musk fragrance. maybe because of my skin but still smelled the same on a tester strip. opens up with a clean tangerine scent and stays like that for an hour straight. then evolves in to a clean musk (kinda like nasomatto silver musk) which doesn't change till the scent just dissapwars after 2-3 hours or so I was thinking about blind buying this a year ago since it was an "animalic" scent however now I'm glad I didn't... if you like airy/clean fragrances, you'll enjoy this one for sure.

I agree with @Parnian.kh below, I definitely pick up on Sonia's scent preferences. FT reminds me strongly of Sonia's other creation, a hidden gem, James Bond for Women II. The opening is near identical, but this one seems to be longer lasting and made of better quality ingredients. I would describe it as an all year rounder gentle pink floral, think rose, peony, raspberry and currants, non offensive, even office scent. It would be a staple no brainier pick for every day use. It does have a slight dose of animalic base, but nothing overwhelming.

This is so good it makes me want to punch someone. It smells like a dream awake. It smells like walking into a Lush store combined with the skin of the desperate sales associates. I don't see as much mention of the creamy rose/water in the middle that I smell on me. The incense and spices esp cardamom and nutmeg stay in a diffuse cloud around it. definitely agree with whoever said some orange juice in there, too. Aquatic thread thru it! I could scream

Watery animalic sweet rose. This is difficult to explain as it gives a happy feeling, mildly sweet, and freshly mood. An orange musk with sweet tonka beans, slight red roses and black peppers, with hints of nutmeg and saffron to add that tingle note. The water is mixed with cardamom, & incense to lighten them up from being harsh spices. It is kind of similar to "declaration" by Cartier, uplifting and happy fragrance.

With Cocosette’s wonderfully cultured comment, I think they meant Arabian or Arabic, not the people of Arabic regions promoting Arabian fragrances in this wasteland of trolls. There’s a difference, but I wouldn’t expect them to have ventured outside their front door long enough to understand that. Especially when they can’t understand there’ll be opinions and views that differ from theirs that are from humans.

Fluffy musky citrus, just looking at the notes you'd think it's much more intense but it's fairly subtle, very daywear but there is a little animal purring underneath. I think this scent is a safe but enticing office wear, someone gets a whiff and thinks it's polite and clean, but then wonders why they are having dirty thoughts :) Love the sneakiness of it all. Strong vetiver drydown.

One of my top favourite. Good silage and longevity in comparison to most of other LLI fragrances. It reminds me of mosquito repellent smell. Still a great one. Would not recommend to blind buy it and better to test on your skin first. Very animatic - carnation. Unisex leaning towards male. I adore musc ravageur and this one seems like they both are from the same family.

Very niche smell... full of imagination... Freshly elegant at first, suddenly turns to spicy and animalic then switches to sweetness before finally become bold and calm! Dunno why this is categorised as unisex fragrance because the base notes of suede and musk bring very masculine impression. Definitely a smell that a woman might want to hear on a man.

Take the wastes and dirty fur of an animal and mix it with citruses, rose and musk. Headaches, nose exhaustion, stingy, something really smells nice here, but then you get punched in the nose by all the dirty ugly notes and voila.. sold my bottle at half the price i bought it for just to get rid of it after 2 wears.

A scent of masculine, exotic and determine man with tender heart. A strong oriental fragrance. Quite tender with fresh mandarin at the top notes but eventually get stronger and deeper with musk and suede. Very long lasting and difficult to forget once pass by.

Fun. Starts citrusy, swerves around all over the place including through surprisingly clean cumin, which is a good trick, and lands in equally clean musk. Ultimately quite lightweight but nice to play around with on a summer evening.

Zesty, high pitched citrus with a constant warm backbone of suede and cardamom. Kept fresh by a marine, sea air type of accord. Very pleasant! For those craving a summer scent without going too heavy on the typical summer notes.

Very similar to Cartier’s Declaration and that’s probably why I enjoy this. I also think this particular fragrance is double the quality of Cartier’s creation. Therefore, I would choose this over Declaration any day of the week.

The notes look so overwhelming, but actually, it is quite a tea-like, aromatic scent with some spices... the animalistic part is not dirty. just a bit of animalistic nuance of musks.
