Seductive Cedrat

Gorgeous lactonic citrus scent - a more milky and creamy, slightly herbal version of Akro Bake. I can detect almost this ginger note from the sesame and green notes that makes this very pleasant. I would like to get a full bottle but the sprays from my 2 ml sample fade too quickly to a skin scent within the hour. Re: the comment below about plain bottles, they’re different because this is an entirely new line they released. Brands usually change their bottles for different lines. But I’m not complaining, since the price of these new releases is £60 less than the ones with metal caps.

Oh wahou... very elegant gourmand. (Not at all the loud Devotion). I have Bake of Akro, which I love so much, this one is full on warm lemon cake. But Seductive cédrat is more fresh and creamy, literally such as a lemon cheesecake with zest on top. Love love love.

I’m not quite sure why the brand decided to launch a series like this; the bottles feel strange and overly minimal compared to their usual style. It’s giving “cosmetics company that suddenly had an eco-awakening and redesigned all their packaging overnight”. Anyway... The sample I have is a dabber. There’s plenty of citrus here; as the name suggests, cedrat. But there’s also a milky–biscuity note accompanying that citrus, almost gourmand in nature. Because of that, it manages to be both creamy and refreshing. Many brands have explored this type of composition before; this one approaches it differently, but the overall vibe remains familiar. Thankfully, it isn’t cloying or sugary. The focus stays on the citrus. As it dries down, the vanillic sweetness grows, and the citrus inevitably fades; holding onto citrus into the base is rarely possible. Because of this shift, my overall impression leans more toward gourmand than crisp citrus. Like. Very pleasant, yes; but honestly, I think it’s time for the brand to try something else. By the way, despite the name, there’s nothing “seductive” in the sultry sense; how seductive can a gourmand really be? I love desserts, especially anything lemon-based, and the only “temptation” here is the kind that makes you want to eat a lemon pastry, not seduce anyone. Maybe that’s the angle they had in mind? Seductive Cedrat showed up and immediately chose presence. The opening is a blast of citrus - but not the kind that screams “cleaning spray.” This is creamy citrus. Smooth. Luxe. The kind of citrus that moisturizes and probably owns a linen blazer. It’s bright, but grounded, and honestly a little addictive in that “one more sniff won’t hurt” way. As it settles, things get interesting. Sesame and pink pepper peek through, the milky vibe sticks around, and suddenly you’re in this woody-green, slightly gourmand wonderland that makes zero sense on paper and total sense on skin. It smells like standing on a rugged coastline... but you’re dressed nicely. Like coastal wind in your hair, leather loafers on your feet, and a glass of something expensive you didn’t pay for. Longevity? Not amazing. I got about three hours before it politely excused itself. But I didn’t mind re-spraying - this is the kind of scent you want to re-apply, just to relive the opening again. It’s truly unisex, comfortably gourmand without going sugary, and unique enough to feel special without trying too hard. Would I buy a full bottle? Yes. Would I pay full price? Absolutely not. This one is going in my “wait for a sale but think about it constantly” category - and honestly, that might be its most seductive move.

Seductive Cedrat by Liquides Imaginaires was a sample given to me in a recent perfume order. I would have never ordered or tried it otherwise since I am not a fan of citric scents, but I have to say I would definitely consider buying this one. This perfume smells like the most delicious lemon tart at first. Imagine femme fatale, big red lips, sitting in a café in Paris on a summery sunny morning, enjoying a creamy lemon tart. The scent is not overwhelming, it is sweet, milky, gentle. You can smell the vanilla but it is not too much, very decent but present. Definitely a scent to wear in spring or summer, a vacation perfume. Not very strong and probably not very long lasting since it is a lighter scent. The milky-vanilla note is less noticeable after a few minutes and the lemon stays longer. A perfume that sits closer to the skin.

Sweetened condensed milk and lemon! It's slightly nutty with a soft sandalwood dry down. This one is charming and just perfect for the warmer months. It's not too heavy or too sweet. The initial blast gives the impression that this may overwhelm, but it's quite gentle and sits close to the skin.

Seductive Cedrat is an airy gourmand to my nose. I get the biscuit note for sure, as in a lemon cheesecake with biscuit base.

I read a few reviews here that said it smells like vomit, and now I can’t unsee it 😩 I don’t know if I’m just easily influenced or what, because I swear I absolutely loved it when I smelled it in the store, but now that I own it I can’t get rid of that vomit thought 🥴

Smells absolutely amazing - citrus with milk (doesn’t sound appealing but think of it as citrus gourmand) - but does not last at all. Becomes skin scent within an hour. This would be a an absolute banger with better performance. Sadly, i would pass on this one

Seductive Cedrat was a disappointment for me. Instead of a refined citrus perfume, it smelled like a lemon cleaning product - synthetic and very unpleasant. I didn’t get any of the creamy or gourmand notes it’s supposed to have. The whole scent felt unbalanced and harsh. I personally much prefer Lira which is smoother, sweeter and far more enjoyable to wear.

This smells of vomit in the dry down , initial spray is nice but the dry down is like spoiled milk/ vomit ! One of the worst fragrances I’ve ever smelt

Like others have said it's in the same family as xerjoff lira and akro bake, plus all those style fragrances. But these days I just recommend to everyone Seductive Cedrat, Memoize Luxuria and Aerin Amber Musk Vanille because nobodys really wearing those ones

Citrus and milk? I’m excited to try this. But can someone please explain the basis of these new bland bottles in their new release? How can a brand go from artistic bottles to plain bottles?

Reminds me of ingenious ginger but instead of ginger it's lemon. I'm not into gourmands so this isn't my thing, but it smells like vanilla lemon cake with whipped cream on top.

It's kind of like a more edible version of Christine Nagel's "Un Jardin à Cythère" for Hermès with a citrus note in the top. I get pistachio, citruses, vanilla and milk.

It’s divine - a bright sweet citrus, and a blanch bete in a Drydown. Adore 🥰
