Casse-Noisette

At the begining it opens quite in a nostalgic way. Then it becomes babylish, little bit powdery or baby- wipy smell. After 1 hour it is magical. Milky and a slightly licorish and little bit sweet. It is a cosy and unique smell which acts as if it is ordinary. Because of this don't give up on this smell in first sniffs. Give it another try by the following day and try it both inside and outside and especially on the cloth. Clean, nice and innocent vibe, yet sexy for some type of men. It reminds me This is Her by Zadig Voltaire through its notes and in a way of milky chestnut- innocent sexy vibe. Just Les Nereidés Casse Noisette a bit more gourmand since it smells like Baileys. First I didn't like it, found old fashion, the second day I love it and by night some smell was vaporising from my wrist in an addictive way. Now the third day I admire it and i love how my clothes smell amazingly while passing beside in my corridor.

Lovely! I have a weakness for chestnuts/hazelnuts as a favorite food & as an added note in a fragrance. This one is so versatile. It goes so well with other white floral, vanilla, nutty, or woody fragrances...it pairs/layers perfectly if you wanted to. It's soft but very noticeable. To me it's comforting & relaxing. A creamy bouquet of flowers intertwines with the warming note of roasted chestnuts and nuts, creating a splendid union. The composition gradually evolves into deeper creaminess, remaining classically elegant, feminine, and enveloping. One of the most beautiful creations I have encountered in recent times.

Casse-Noisette feels like an airier, lighter interpretation of Kingside by Mind Games. It carries a similar nutty-woody DNA, but where Kingside is denser and more enveloping, Casse-Noisette floats. The sweetness is softer, the texture more transparent, and the overall impression more refined and easygoing. If Kingside wears like a cozy, structured scent, Casse-Noisette is its breezier, more effortless counterpart. Personally, I prefer the latter as it is an easier wear.

Such a pleasant scent - base are soft white florals, but there are really interesting nuance of hazelnut, which first goes pretty chocolaty praline like (not over sweet though and not artificial) and then remains on the background of florals all way long. I don't get any chestnuts here, at least not in a way By the fireplace or Noir Exquis have. Overall it's elegant, sober, well balanced floral with hint of powder and really curious hazelnut note. Staying power is around 5-6 hours.

Nutty, powdery and floral scent. It is sweet but very well balanced. You can feel the hazelnut and also almonds, very sweet almost like Hypnotic Poison but it has a fresh note given by the neroli. Imagine you have a child of Hypnotic Poison and Neroli Portofino. Very smooth and elegant. I have a full bottle and will look for back ups.

This is like discontinued Cavalli Gold Her, hazelnutty, very yummy. Also ambery and powdery.
