Ballerina No 4

Ballerina no 4 is straight up buttery tuberose upon first spray. Like the most buttery, creamy tuberose I have ever smelled. Cream and butter, rich and delicious. I also adore the peach note in this perfume. It is soft, supple, and musky. Like flushed skin, perhaps the flush of desire? Who can say. The subtle incense note adds a slight carnality to the composition and while this perfume doesn't' smell heavily animalic or sexual there is something of an awakening desire in a young woman in this bewitching perfume. White rose petals are scattered throughout as well. Heady, buttery, musky, warm, rich, and slightly sweet. My husband usually hates white florals, but he really likes this one. He said it was sensual. I happen to agree. Very sensual. A perfect date night fragrance if you want to get the romance started already. Feminine, romantic, and quite beguiling. Wear #4 and be the Ballerina and captivate your audience. On my want shelf, full bottle worthy Edit: 1/24/23 tested this again and my husband said this perfume makes him hungry LOL. It is a very yummy floral w/out being gourmand at all. Edit: I was able to get 2 vintage bottles of Elizabeth Taylors Diamonds and Emeralds quite cheaply and I find the vintage perfume mimics the smell of this quite well and I feel I do not need to spend the money on this one now. And this is quite expensive. It is nice but if you can get the perfume version of Diamonds and Emeralds you won't need this.

A beautiful and buttery tuberose that reminds me of Rouge Malachite but a teensy bit fruitier and lighter and less perfume-y, more of an everyday wearable fragrance. I really love this one, sadly I missed the opportunity to buy it on ultra-discount so I guess I won't be owning it, though I really wish I could. Ballerina No. 4 smells like a grown up and luxury tuberose, I don't get much of the other notes, it's basically 75% tuberose and 25% peach on my skin. Since I already own Rouge Malachite I suppose it's not the biggest loss not to own this gem. By the way, for the fragrance-snob comparison, this scent is not that similar to Lady Tubereuse by Moresque (I saw a few upvotes for similar). The only similarity is that they both feature this sweet sort of tuberose, but Ballerina No. 4 is sweeter with a fruity and girly quality, while Lady Tubereuse is not as sweet or buttery and has a very zingy quality with a long-lasting ginger note.

Blind bought a 100ml EDP bottle and I am delighted with it! The frangrance does all the work for me and is amazingly easy to love at first spray. Seductive, addictive, slightly sweet, yet fresh and bright, gracefully evolving throughout the day, revealing the complexity. To me it is always a sign of a good, masterfully developed design. Even the gourgeous white bottle is perfect and I love the feeling of it in my hand and the fact that I am able to hold and use it with only one hand. Although Parfums de Rosine is known for the scent of the roses, it is never center stage, but beautifully woven in the composition, such a pleasure to wear!

Nice, and while I enjoy the light spice, I absolutely love the subtle incense note. It's beautifully done. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of buttery florals, and this is very buttery to me and the tuberose very thick. I don't know how true the note profile is above, but when I smell buttery florals the first floral that springs to mind is gardenia. I wonder if there is gardenia in the mix too? Whatever it is, I am not a fan. But that's just me, so don't let my dislike of buttery, heavy florals dissuade you. I just happened to prefer my tuberose fresher, lighter, and not as dense. I do think it is a very pretty well-made fragrance that has good silage and longevity. So, if you like very rich tuberose fragrances, this might work for you. Oh, and that incense note is fabulous! Edit - that buttery note is finally lessening up 4 hours later. Now it picked up a little more sweetness and that incense is still there. Love that!

Ballerina No 4 smells like creamy, buttery, sweet tuberose. The fragrance heady and suede-like. It's my favorite fragrance from the discovery set. The tuberose is not loud or brash on my skin, but thick yet toned down and mellowed by the woody notes and incense. It has four notes I dislike (oakmoss, peaches/fruit in general, pink pepper and ambroxan), so I'm shocked I love it. Where is the peach? Smells more like peaches simmered in cream and cardamom. The cardamom is blended into the fragrance so well it gives the fragrance a suede-like quality. This reminds of me of Sedbury by PdM but much more sheer and likeable IMO. It also reminds me of Bond No9 Chinatown but sweeter and less spicy. I love it and may need a FB as I'm totally smitten. -

Cardamom peach syrup and bubblegum tuberose~ The rose is green and strong in the open, but fades relatively quickly; only adding a rose-jam element to the slightly peachy syrup. It was blind buy and a good deal; had I sampled it first I would've skipped this one (bubblegum tuberose is far and away my least favorite tuberose). It's light, very sweet and absolutely inoffensive. I did run across it initially on a "best tuberose" post; I ABSOLUTELY would disagree with that~ However it's a decent fruity-sweet girly scent; fans of Lira/Delina etc I think would enjoy it quite a bit. Longevity is fairly low; but I think I may go nose blind relatively fast as well.

A simple, sweet tuberose fragrance. It has a lot of peach in it as well so if you don't like peach stay away! Staying power is ok - about 6hrs. Does not have very much developement or nuance.

The notes are very accurate. A spicy tuberose. More Mouline Rouge than Swan Lake.

Ballerina No. 4 smells like so many other perfumes on the market right now; a mainstream perfume with a big sharp Tuberose, that overall smells “perfumey”. Ballerina 4 doesn’t have anything sticking out beside the loud Tuberose, even though I can smell synthetic fruity notes. Yes, it has big performance because it smells 100% synthetic. Really reminds me of Armani Rouge Malachite, so if you like that one you will like this. Conversely if you have that perfume, then there’s no need for this one. I ended up selling Rouge Malachite, I know it’s beloved by many people as there was a bidding frenzy due to its discontinuation. But the smell bored me and I rarely wore it. Maybe that sounds snobby, but Ballerina No. 4 has the same effect on me.

In my opinion it's VERY similar to Kilian Moonlight in Heaven, just stronger and has more depth. Very popular DNA, safe uplifting scent, not unique at all, but it does smell great, one of my favorites from the line.

I’m not normally a huge fan of tuberose as I find it can often be too pervasive but in Ballerina no 4 I find it rather pleasant. It’s delightfully creamy and sweet with a slight waxiness. Jasmine is also very apparent and the 2 notes combine beautifully with one another to create a white floral fragrance that I can get on board with. I can’t distinguish a particular rose note per se, but this fragrance is all about the bombastic white florals rather than a delicate rose note. Cardamom and pink pepper give this composition a bit of bite which I am thoroughly enjoying, tempering the white florals down to manageable levels, I find cardamom can impart a certain spicy freshness to a fragrance, and it does in this case. I’m not smelling incense particularly, but I get the sandalwood and ambroxan on dry-down which is lovely and warming. Personally this would be a fragrance that I would reach for in the cooler weather months due to the creamy, waxy warmth this fragrance imparts. Longevity is respectable, as many of the Rosine perfumes seem to be rather fleeting, but maybe that in part is due to my dabber samples (maybe I’m not applying enough). Sillage is very good as is the case for most tuberose heavy perfumes.

First impression: It’s okay. It’s a simple white floral that someone who likes simplicity, minimalism, nothing too showy might wear for their wedding. (She might wear a plain white dress with it, her hair straight in a simple french pleat, with a small silver cross pendant her late great grandmother gave her on a plain chain around her neck). Sounds like my sister! Yes we have completely different tastes :) But my sister likes Prada Iris, Cacherel Eden, Armani Diamonds, and Michael Kors Sexy Amber. I’m imagining someone even more minimalistic than my sister. It’s too buttery for me, too safe. It’s warm, slightly soapy, heavy, and actually, as it settles down it’s growing on me as it starts to smell more interesting with a slight sweetness coming through. I will probably like the dry down. I will update later.

I don’t know the exact smell that ticks me, but this perfume is suddenly becoming the prima ballerina in my perfume list. I smell the tuberose, but there’s one smell in the background that tied this tuberose and put together a perfect world. I never can smell this mixture in any other perfume. It was not cold and freezy nor aquatic. Ballerina no. 4 will put you in a warm summer when you walk in tuberose garden while you wearing your summer dress and your wide summer hat. It is friendly and heartwarming. It is not sugary nor sweet, which make this perfume smells so relieving, it is subtle and not cloying. I am trying very hard to find a good 100 or 50 ml bottle, right noe. My vial will not lasted another week

This is quite a delicate peaches and cream tuberose scent. The other notes that stand out for me are the incense, cardamom, and sandalwood. There is the tiniest hint of oak moss which I associate with a dry texture. But, there isn’t much of that at all. I don’t get any citrus or pink pepper. This is a slightly powdery, creamy, peachy, pretty girl fragrance. It’s an Audrey Hepburn movie. Maybe Roman Holiday where she plays a princess.

The heavy hitters in this are the tuberose, peach, and rose. It’s very strong, there’s a smooth lotion like quality. Powdery incense has floats inside the texture a bit along with airy oak moss. The pink pepper zinger in the beginning merges with a touch of spice. Altogether it’s giving a very soapy/jammy chutney vibe overall. Interesting.

I used to love Rosines beyond logic. It's strange that I haven't worn or owned a Rosine in many years. I need to fix that. Ballerina No. 4 is a must-try for me.

WOW! this is soo creamy and loud perfume,it’s like you fell into a tuberose garden from your window while wearing a white summer dress.

Very sweet and delicate. Something l would buy for my 5 yo daughter who does ballet. Its a signature scent. Its very nostalgic too.

My girl's choice. Very soft, and alluring, comforting. Smells like a pillow with some sweetness underneath.

Tuberose & peach with a touch of rose. Pretty and girly, it is a bold fragrance. 7/10
