An interesting rose perfume. This is not a delicate, soft and airy rose fragrance, but a heavy, dark and misty one - the rose in the beginning is almost aggressive, to later turn more powdery, but never light. The wood notes stay in the background, hitting the nose in whiffs now and then. It is rather old-fashioned. Lovely, but not for fans of modern rose.

tried this today! on me its a heavy powdry grandma rose :-S not what i thought it would be! i don't use the term grandma much but on me it really smelled like it -_-couldn't help it! but i got to give them one thing: the lastingpower was great! if they would re issue a more powerfull rose d' ete then i'd be happy to get a FB of that!

Beautiful creation, just got my bottle and love it ! Sheer roses on a deep strong indolic jasmine base, not sheer and airy as many other Rosines, but indeed ' Extreme '.
