LE SNOB No II Vintage Rose

This smells like perfume fairies would wear when they are about to get ready for the tea party in their tree house. The first thought sniffing this was - slightly dried linden flowers, the ones some gather for tea. Light and airy, honey-like yet dry floral, very aromatic, slightly woody, bittersweet. Mostly I get super-smooth clean and woody patchouli, soft dry moss, some rose and woody iris, light vetiver, more of a greener kind. The rest of the notes give some vibrancy. It evolves and stays the same for some four hours (it is not flat, just evolves in the same manner, like waves coming and going), then dries down to dried rose scent - dry moss with some vetiver, rose, clearwood, whiffs of now more powdery iris. Long lasting with heavy sillage (scent per se is not heavy though), on clothes I can smell it for days. It is quite an unusual perfume, so I cannot give it any labels, really. In my opinion Le Snob No II would work at any time of the day and year (maybe apart from rainy autumn or sleety winter), also at wide range of occasions as it is clean to suit professional and formal environments, unusual to suit more creative spaces, cozy for more laid-back activities and situations. Perfectly unisex. Smelling like a smoothly polished board may not be for everyone (it is sure for me :D), but if woodwork just puts you in the good mood, this is worth a try. Superb quality.

Delicate, elegant, daytime rose fragrance. Office safe, transparent but still present woody-rose, extremely well done. Perfect for spring.

Soapy Rose as the previous person commented. It's not bad but it didn't excite me.

On paper it was quite unique and interesting, woody & clean in a nice way, so it got me curious... I tried it on my skin, and BLEH. It was very strong, very weird, very soapy, the rose was sour, the flowers were vintage, and the woods made it even worse... No, the perfume itself is not bad, but it's definately not for me. And not safe for blind buy!

My least favorite of the three. Masculine-leaning, not much rose, somewhat shampoo-like. The name and presentation suggest something very different, and that may disappoint. Not a bad fragrance, but definitely not "vintage"... or "rose"... or anything in that neighborhood...
