Rose Kashmirie

I'm a tad surprised by the amount of powder people are getting from this beautiful rose. On me, yes, there is a little powderyness in the opening but overall it's not really dominant. It reminds me very much of Yves Rocher's long discontinued and much missed Rose Ispahan, especially in it's syrupy jam-like qualities. What makes this really special is that it's an oriental rose full of resins and spices that isn't noticeably a cash-cow created for the Arabian theme loving customer. Whilst every company is releasing an oud or saffron rose predominantly designed to radiate for at least 6 miles, this one is a subtle and refined version of what is an often a gaudy genre. You wear it, it doesn't wear you. Beautiful.

Utterly stunning !!! My 2nd fave in the de Rosine line. This is very luxe, very warm and rich (maybe the benzoin ? Welcome in almost any balmy perfume) It really is a cashmere-type scent. This is a comforting , specialty scent with a hint of powder without being old fashioned. Perfect herby woody heavy rose scent but crafted with finesse. Lovely - original, captivating. The saffron adds a unique touch in a market full of generic rose perfumes. Very good longevity and moderate sillage. I get cocooned in splendid wafts of this beauty every hour.

I read a review about this niche line of fragrances and went to their website to see if I could get samples. Voila! I recvd the 15 sample packet, and ordered the remaining six. I am in love with the all, and look forward to trying a new one or two each day! So far, my favorite is 'Rose Kashmirie'-very soothing and cozy. the fragrance lingered all evening, a constant companion!

Rose Kashmirie opens spicy and a little boozy on my skin. I could swear there is some rum among the top notes. It settled down into a warm and comforting rose that melts with a delicate balsamic and woody touch of some saffron, myrrh, amber and benzoin. Yummy <3 Longevity around 4-5 hours, but still worth a try for rose fans!

I'm getting some rose, and a lot of saffron, but in the best way possible. But, where is all of that powder coming from? Every minute it's like there's another poof! of powder. Fortunately, I like powder.
