Vanille Gourmande

Pretty, slightly fruity sweet vanilla. I don't really get almond or macaron. Good sillage and lasting power. It reminds me of the smell of various girls toys in the 80s smelt - the Strawberry Shortcake doll range. Not to say it smells of strawberry, it's just they all had a sweet vanilla with fruity overtones sort of smell. The fruity note is actually more like cherry. Edited to add - if you like this but wish is was strong with good sillage, Dua Cherry Custard Cake is very very similar but much much stronger and lasts hours!

Yes, it's a "little pleasure" - without pretension - and yes, it smells of "gourmet vanilla" (vanille gourmande); powdery and sweet. I find it identical to the bourbon vanilla that you can find at Yves Rocher (in shower gel in particular) and for the price, you can indulge in this little pleasure without regret. For weekends and simple moments when you just want to treat yourself without necessarily falling for much more expensive bottles.

Bought a bottle of this from Carrefour in France while on a trip. It smells really good, wore it throughout the trip and attended a french wedding in it. This is a sweet candy-ish vanilla scent with a hint of floral note. Dries down to a little warmer vanilla scent. I love to layer it with sandalwood oil. Lovely scent.

What you see is what you get. Smell very sweet, like French macaroons and vanilla. Pretty light but does its job. Suitable as a bedtime scent. Stay pretty attached to the skin but it's a long standing fragrance.

Bought it inexpensive in France, sweet vanillin, for my daughter, she loves it I and it suits her very well but I wouldn’t wear it. The little sticker is cute. It will make any little girl/teens happy.

Very light and doesn't last, like whiff of vanilla in the wind. More of a body mist or hair perfume.

boring smell don"t smell like macaroon

I got this perfume when I was in France last December. It’s very sweet and lasts a long time on my clothes, not too long on my skin. I like very sweet scents. I had to get used to this one for a bit, but now i like to wear it in the evening when I go to bed. Teen girls might like this perfume.

I really didn’t like this one - smells like an old liquor to me. The dry down had an odd savoury vibe mixed in with the vanilla. Just not my jam! The Violet macaron from this brand is lovely though fyi!
