Vanille De La Réunion

Amazing quality price ratio! I am just so pleased with this one - it is a beautiful natural but sweet smelling vanilla with beautiful buttery caramel. I really love it. I was expecting weak sillage as is so often the case with less expensive vanilla scents so I was very impressed when it turned out to have - in my opinion - great sillage. For me sillage is more important than longevity - especially at this price. The longevity is good - not amazing but very good for the price. I'm definitely going to be looking to acquire everything I can from this line now that i know how good these products are. I would say that this perfume can easily stand with my more expensive vanilla fragrances. You must, however, like sweet gourmand vanilla scents. The sweetness isn't cloying though and the whole thing is very well executed. I would say that to me this smells a little more feminine though if you're a man who just wants to smell great I would love it if a man wore this! : ) I suspect that it might work well as a layering scent for a man if he wanted to sweeten something BUT I have yet to test the theory of layer it. I just received it earlier and was too excited about it not to add my review though because FINALLY I found a well priced vanilla I actually like! : ) I am a tough customer when it comes to vanilla and I HATE plastic smelling vanilla. You'll find no plastic here though - the smell of this perfume suggests a higher price point IMO.

Oh. My. God. This is exactly THE vanilla scent I was searching for this whole time. So sweet, sugary, edible, gourmand, beautiful, warm, cozy... just the perfect vanilla. No spices, no flowers, no fruits, no nonsense, just this beautiful realistic vanilla cloud that wraps around you like a cozy sweater, or a hug. 🌅🌞🍂 It kind of reminds me of this traditional polish candy called "Krowki", a very sweet caramel/butter/cream fudge bonbon. Looove it! 💛🧡🤎

One of my all-time favourite vanillas, full stop. It’s rich, cocoa buttery, warm and gorgeously deep. The musk is immaculate; it lifts the vanilla without muting it, giving it throw/life. I wish it lasted. I wish it were easier to find in the UK. I wish it were a lotion, a body wash, a scrub, a shampoo, and a pillow mist. I would bathe in this. I would layer it under absolutely everything until we are all convinced I'm the dessert.

When I first sprayed it I couldn't feel anything, not even the alcohol ! After 15 minutes the fragrance started to grow ! Really impressive quality . And it is long lasting ! But it's soft natural caramel smell wrapped in butter and vanilla, delicious, relaxing not overwhelming . Sweet sweet sweet ! 🥰 Looking forward for more fragrances from this company

I’ve bought this perfume several times as I find the quality/price ratio excellent. It smells like pure vanilla, it’s a very cozy scent. It’s sweet but has a sort of smokiness that makes it very sexy. It last 12+ hours on the skin, 24+ hours on clothes, but the sillage isn’t as great.

This! You can layer this with ANYTHING and it flatters it. Softens, sweetens. It's beautiful and scrumptious on its own too - but I find it Really shines when layered with other things, and lending sweetness and warmth to them. I would recommend this to everyone.

On initial spray it smell like a scented eraser in the best possible way and on dry down it's a sweet warm buttery vanilla I smell some cacao also I kinda like the eraser vibe projection is cozy Great perfume to cuddle with your cat ^-^

Holy underrated! I am in love with this one! Lady's and gentlemen if you wanna smell like a delicious vanilla desert, you need to buy it.

@curlysunbeam, you're right. The notes on the brand's website are completely different. However, I own a bottle of this perfume that I purchased 6 years ago and the scent matches the notes listed above. This is a creamy caramel vanilla scent; warm, rich, maybe a bit powdery and enveloping. No bergamot, no patchouli... Just a simple, edible vanilla scent. I suspect that the scent has been reformulated - they've changed the composition and left the name of the perfume instead of launching a new "Vanille"... Maybe they had some old labels left over...? 😂 Note breakdown from the brand's website (current/changed formulation?): apple, bergamot heliotrope, almond blossom patchouli, vanilla

I found the scent so weak I wondered whether I became anosmic to vanilla. However, I've decided this time NOT to overspray to avoid olfactory overload and subsequent fatigue. Such a shifty frag. I couldn't smell anything anymore within minutes! But 40 mins later, I smelled quite powerful whiffs of gorgeous carameley vanilla, a lil bit boozy like brown vanilla extract, but much better. A surprise bloomer! I hoped I could get fresh butter note but none of that happened. Instead, I got a lovely butter under the form of petit-beurre (thin shortbread cookies) drydown. If I need a fresh butter blast from my perfume, I'll stick to Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb.

Vanille de la Réunion is exactly what its name promises: a lovely bourbon vanilla, soft and just sweet enough. No complex notes, no unnecessary twists. Just warm, natural vanilla that smells like a freshly split pod. It has that smooth, rounded sweetness, slightly creamy, but never cloying. The longevity is excellent for the price, it lingers on the skin and keeps its charm from start to finish. It might not be the most original vanilla on the market, but it’s well-crafted, pleasant to wear, and that’s already a lot. A great find for anyone who loves vanilla that’s simple, true, and well-balanced.

So the only problem I have with this one is the projection. There isn’t any. I wear it at night as a night scent and was hoping my hubby would be very enthusiastic and sniffing the lovely vanilla sugar caramel cookie scent that this has. But it’s just so weak! Very disappointing. The perfume itself though is lovely. Strong alcohol in the opening. I wish they made this twice as potent and twice as expensive then it would be far better value.

This is buttery, vanilla, slightly spicy and very similar to my SDV. But, it suffers from the same issues that SDV does as well. No sillage. You have to stick your nose to you wrist even after 5-7 sprays! It does stay, it's just that you can't smell it. Is it the same quality as Guerlain? No, but SDV has been a fave of mine forever, I just want to smell it without looking like I'm snogging my wrist.

Kind of reminds me of Feve Gourmande but without the chocolate note. Sweet, indulgent vanilla but doesn't smell that much like a dessert.

i feel like this would be a perfect layering scent. pure vanillin sugar without being synthetic. doesnt last too long tho

Strong alcohol scent in the opening, to be expected with an affordable fragrance. After the alcohol fades, I get what smells like cooked or crystalized sugar. I eventually get a vanilla extract scent and that's about it. I purchased this specifically for the butter note and there is nothing buttery here, I may be slightly nose blind to it, or it is really light. I layered it with mon guerlain to amp up the sweetness, and oddly enough I was getting whiffs of it throughout the day. I will continue using it as a bedtime scent. BTW, I do not get any salt either

Ive never questioned so many reviews in my life.. this fragrance is quite terrible. You think youre getting a sweet vanilla caramel dream but youre actually getting synthetic candy with patchouli and bergamot - check the actual website from the brand and see the notes- thats what youre getting. Im assuming they had to have reformulated OR everyone is straight up lying! its not safe out here

This is really bad. At first all you can smell is alcohol and nothing else. After like 15 minutes the alcohol start to go away but what remains is a very weak, basic vanilla. Really disappointing

This smells like a confectionery! It is sweet with a mild fruity tartness & a very light hint of cinnamon-like spiciness. It smells like cotton candy or a berry-vanilla or strawberry-vanilla gummy candy. This is purely for the gourmand lovers, especially the ladies. "Like" & pass.
